This is a CORE game, please check, and then double check you are putting in a CORE character.
If you are currently in a game or expect to apply a GM chronicle before play, hold off putting in the information.
To make my life easier when it comes to filling in chronicles, if you could each put in a single post with:
Chronicle: What chronicle number this is for the character
History: What scenarios has the character completed? (or been credited with); any other chronicles (special boons etc)
Name:(the player) real name (as you have it appear on your chronicle sheets)
AKA: Character name
Faction: Your faction
PFS: # for the character
XP: starting XP, Note if Slow track!
Prestige: Starting prestige
Fame: Starting Fame
Gold: Starting wealth you bring into the adventure. This should be the total on your previous chronicle. If you want to buy any new stuff... see further on.
Day job: include the roll or that you don't have one. If you want to use a reroll at the end just note here you may want to use a reroll. If you don't include a roll I'll be assuming you take ten. Add the actual gold amount if you want to save me looking it up...
Spend: If you want to buy anything before the scenario starts (apart from your initial 150gp if you are a new character) include it here. This will appear in the "items bought" and/or "items sold" part of the chronicle.
Try to hold off actual discussion here until we have one post per character with those details (makes life easy for me to make the chronicles for you all at the end).
Please add an Icon for your character to the map. If you don't know how, let me know and I'll help. Also dot into the gameplay thread, or just hang around and RP there if you like
NB I will be away from about Christmas to the 2nd week of January and the game may not advance during that time.

Both of my options are in PbPs that are near the end. I am hoping to play the Wizard. Once I know he's available I'll post the wall of info.
If you are going to be unavailable for a week or so could you request a backup GM for that time to keep us moving?

Yeap. I flagged that to the Overseer when I signed up. But I'll give him a reminder after Christmas.

While I have not got the Scenario yet, talking with the other GMs, it would be handy for you all to include the following in your posts here:
What are your abilities with the following skills so that Sheila can send you on the right missions?
Bluff
Diplomacy
Disable Device
Intimidate
Linguistics
Perception
Sense Motive
Stealth
Do you have Wayfinders? Are they visible?
Radagast the Brown

Bluff -2
Diplomacy -2
Disable Device N/A
Intimidate -2
Linguistics N/A
Perception +16
Sense Motive +3
Stealth -2
Do you have Wayfinders? Are they visible?
I have not played The Confirmation with this PC, so I don't have access to a Wayfinder.
I do, however, have a Shadow Lodge Signet Ring, if that becomes relevant.
------
Clearly, I am bringing the wrong PC to this scenario ;-)
Seiran Leogil

No Wayfinder
Bluff: +3 Never had too honestly.
Diplomacy: +9 Because I'm nice like that.
Disable Device: Huh?
Intimidate: +11 Because the Alternative is worse.
Linguistics: +1 Language wasn't my forte.
Perception: +0 My enemies need to look out for me!
Sense Motive: +0 Why would you lie?
Stealth: +2 I tried. I really tried but the code doesn't really say I must.

@Radagast. I thought Wayfinders were always available, as they appeared in the guide. But you would need to pay cash.
Liminy Spickett

Correct.
The GM for the game Liminy is in says we should be done in time for the special but the holidays are delaying things. To help you prep I'll post what I know. If Liminy is not ready in time I can play a Monk 7 or Kobold Fighter 4.

@GM Aerondor: It *was* in one of the earlier Guides, but was removed (apparently an oversight (removed due to space constraints), but it has never been officially stated that it is always available).
Hopefully, the next Guide will put it back in :-)

Btw Liminy has the Heightened metamaggic feat and Continual Flame in his book. Since he will be 7th level at the end of this (Hopefully) he's fine with casting continual flame on an item of your choice heightened to a 4th level spell cl 7.
You'll have to pay the 50gp material component though.

Well, that is completely off track for the scenario, but what the heck. Others may want to chime in with aid-another checks? Lets see what the DC is likely to be...
Base DC: 20 + CHA (I think unfriendly would be a fair description of his base attitue)
Give aid that could result in punishment +15
=35+CHA
With a situational modifier determined by your lovely GM.
So it sounds like you are in the ballpark with the base check, but lets see what the other pathfinders have to say as well.
Jayori Bissumbhur

Heh. Ya, knew it was going to be a long shot.
Am just happy to be in the ballpark! Here's hoping for a good RP bonus!
At this point, would be a shame to have missed by 1 or 2 points.
Though I cringed a bit this morning, when I reread my post, and realized just how horridly long it is.
Aw well... some rails are not for paladins to ride!

If you want to buff up your champion before the fight, feel free to do so.
@Jayori, it is going to be a pretty close call either way. This multitable special looks to be a very fast paced one.
Liminy Spickett
|
So with some lucky rolls Liminy could win such a fight.
1. Win initiative
2. Cast Stinking Cloud
3. Opponent fails save
4. Summon augmented small earth elemental. Tell it to use non-lethal
5. Elemental ignores cloud (Immune to poison and has tremorsense) and beats opponent down.

Just to revisit the hydra thing... as I just had to GM an encounter with one, so the mechanics are still fresh on the mind!
They are frightfully easy to kill, if you just do 'damage' or throw AE's into the mix.
Loping off a head, requires X amount of damage (from a sunder). Searing the stump requires and additional X amount of fire damage. Either way, both those X damages apply to the body as well.
So if it has 5 heads, and you cut off 4 of them and sear the stumps, you've already done 8X damage to the creature as a whole... which is probably close to killing it already.
On the plus side, they have fast healing... which might help keep it going =)
If you use AE fire damage to sear stumps, then you will be damaging the entire body possibly... which could easily outdo even the 8X, depending on how it is applied. Unsure if you can use an AE to just hit the stumps, not the rest of it.
Creating more heads could be problematic too, as each head has a breath weapon, that can all be directed the same way... and all stack. Dunno if we want 15d6 (or more!) cones being used much =)
Though it would be more dramatic for the crowd, I suppose!
Lasaraleen
|
Good summary. It is probably much easier to end this fight in 2 rounds than in 6.
Lasaraleen sadly does not have protection from energy prepared. That would have been helpful.
GM Aerondor
|
Lopping off a head only does damage to the creature equal to its Hit dice. So 5hp damage for this one.
If you kill it inside six rounds, I think you still give the crowd a good enough show. But you won't get any extra money from the man.
Liminy Spickett
|
sense motive: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (19) + 8 = 27
Liminy isn't so good at not killing things. But he can help this go on longer and provide a show.
