To make my life easier when it comes to filling in chronicles, if you could each put in a single post with:
Chronicle: What chronicle number this is for the character
History: What scenarios has the character completed? (or been credited with); any other chronicles (special boons etc) No need for season 0
My Name: Your(the player) real name (as you have it appear on your chronicle sheets)
AKA: Character name
Faction: Your faction
PFS: # for the character
XP: starting XP,
Prestige: Starting prestige
Fame: Starting Fame
Gold: Starting wealth you bring into the adventure. This should be the total on your previous chronicle. If you want to buy any new stuff... see further on.
Day job: include the roll or that you don't have one. If you want to use a reroll at the end just note here you may want to use a reroll. If you don't include a roll I'll be assuming you take ten.
Spend: If you want to buy anything before the scenario starts (apart from your initial 150gp if you are a new character) include it here. This will appear in the "items bought" and/or "items sold" part of the chronicle.
Try to hold off actual discussion here until we have one post per character with those details (makes life easy for me to make the chronicles for you all at the end).

Stuff
James/Jamesui/Karovna's Player here.
I realize now that I'm booked on warhorn with Karovna in a week in a scenario that's marked as important to her faction. I don't suspect this will be done by then, so I'll have to withdraw her. I'll register this Gnome Conjurer as a substitute, but I assume that this misses the cutoff, and thus I will not be playing him unless you explicitly tell me to, GM.

Yeap, post away. There may be a fifth joining you. BTW the character details don't show up in recruitment threads for some reason but do here, so you are good on that front.

I am leaving for a family "vacation" (read that as traveling halfway across the country to visit my wife's family and go to our niece's wedding) tomorrow and won't be back until Monday, whereupon I immediately leave for a 3 day business trip. I should have plenty of internet to post 1-2 times per day, but I won't be as constantly on as I am normally (when I get bored or stuck at work I tend to just refresh the paizo forums every few minutes). It shouldn't impact my ability to post daily, just letting you know in case the worst should happen (no internet, yikes!)

Yo soy español :)
Peter Krauss |
Hi guys, sorry for my vanish. It was father's day here in Brazil last sunday, and I traveled to see my old one, wich don't have internet in the house. But now I'm back! =)
GM Aerondor |
I hate it when the dice roller does that as a GM. Theodic is going to need a bit of help to survive this.
GM Aerondor |
If you have prestige or gold available you can get resurrected. Given this his is first scenario he won't have enough.
If he dies without being resurrected (and he is a long way off that) then I write that on the chronicle and report the character death. His PFS number (43330-3) is retired. You can remake a new character with identical attributes without issue. The only real problem is you can't play this scenario again. As there are no awesome must-have type boons, that probably isn't a big problem for you.

Obtaining cover is one of the few uses of Silent Image in combat.
Still it is quite easy to unbelief automatically without need of roll under certain circumstances.
I always recommend a series of D&D articles when dealing with ilusions:
Part one
Part two
Part three
Part four

1 person marked this as a favorite. |
Just wrapping up chronicles and reporting.
Theodic, 43330-3 sahows up with a name of Dulomak, not Theodic, and in the Grand Lodge, and as non CORE ... are you sure you gave me the right PFS number?
Zolaffer, 182235-2 has the right name, but is listed as RPG, not CORE character. You may need to recreate it and tick the CORE box.
I can't do event reporting until these are fixed up. We still have a little wrap up to do in the game thread, but I'm sure you are all anxious to be ready for GD4 fun and games.
I'll upload chronicles from Gregor, Ledt and Peter for you to check. Once we confirm numbers for Theodic and Zolaffer I'll redo their chronicles and upload them as well.
Chronicles are linked at the top of the page, or if you don't want to scroll...here

That last encounter could go south very fast if ghouls hit and folk fail their saves. You did well bottling them up at the doorway.
Thanks all, good game with a bit of fun and character interaction too.
Peter Krauss |
@GM Aerondor: was a pleasure for me to play this game runned by you. As Gregor said, "If you ever need another PFS player, please keep me in mind".
See ya!
GM Aerondor |
Well, I have another three GD4 games about to kick off next week but they are non core and full. After they get settled in I may think about another core game.
GM Aerondor |
Theodic's chronicle is uploaded. I can't do the official game reporting until I get a new number for Peter though.
Peter Krauss |
I saw your message and answered it. Peter is a CORE character, as well as he appears in my profile.
Peter Krauss |
Sorry, my mistake, I meant Zolaffer not Peter.
Sorry about the mix up.
No problem, my friend. ;)
GM Aerondor |
Okay, game is reported. You should see it on your characters records, and everyone should have a chronicle now.
Many thanks for the game everyone and good luck with PbP gameday 4
GM Aerondor |
It is on your chronicle.
How it works is that treasure is netted in gold. There are items that appear on your chronicle that you can "buy" with the gold you get. Other than that there are also "always available" items and other items you can purchase dependent on your fame.
Ledt |
Thanks a lot Aerondor for this another game! :)
GM Aerondor |
Chronicles are linked at the top of the page. If you can't see Theodic's one, let me know and I'll double check the sharing.
GM Aerondor |
It is generally best to save it. Most folk use some type of online repository to keep track of them.
Some use google docs.
Personally I keep track of my characters at Myth-Weavers.
If I were starting again, I might just keep them on my google drive though. If you are mostly a Pen and Paper player, printing it out is sufficient. PbP you need some way to make them available to a GM if they want to see them. Generally most GMs don't.

I use Dropbox. I compress all the chronicles in a ZIP and share the zip file with an url link in the character profile. It has the advantage I do not have to modify the link every time I add a chronicle, and I can easily manage them from my file system.
I maintain both a physical copy and online repository, both as backup and because I play in real life and online.
Just try out different solutions and use the one that works for you :)
But if you play in real life, definitely, bring a printed copy.
