I'm not sure it is really what was thought of when squeezing was invented. However I love the image of a paladin charging the evil archer, so what the heck, lets go with it.

Trident in hand, the pair of lizards, ahh that is Heroic Paladin on his trusty mount, charges down the archers. Eww., a lot of blood there. Still the vile man still stands. Surely not for long though.

Meanwhile, just in front of him, a new pretty pattern of colours appears.

Gasping from the new pair of bleeding gashes thanks to Aspis bolts, Jal draws out and drinks a potion.

The arrival of the giant turns the tide a bit, and Tophor steps back behind the cover of the door. Either its race or mystical appearance earn it a pair of razor sharp arrows, instead of their blunt-headed brethren.

The nagaji, fighting in total combat mode, does not realize about the creature appearing among his friends. He instead keeps launching attacks over the Aspis in front, trident and shield at hands.

Note that the giant is in combat with Jal who has struck him this round. Without wanting to get into tracking individual initiatives, confused characters will continue to fight people who have attacked them, so it is not that effective against folk who are in actual combat.

Xien and Eidi knock the other man around so badly it doesn't look like he's likely to recover.

The kobolds all cheer and even the guardian gives a grudging "Well done."
