Oh, well assuming Lyoto has already pointed out the unique documents reffering to dwarves in Sky Citadels and heard Niles, Lyoto will stop packing up and address the party.
Someone better check out what's going on. Vasilios, how bout me and you let the booksmart people finish packing up and go find out what Niles heard.
Lyoto will then hope Vasilios' agrees, then he'll run as quickly as possible to the entrance of the secret passage.
He'll be running so he won't have time to draw his sword, but as a monk, that doesn't matter that much.

Fargrim continues to pour over the documents, unless anyone alerts her to possible trouble

Longsword: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11

As Lyoto continues down hustle to the passageway, he thinks he hears the sounds of a battle.
Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11
But he can't be certain so he's just going to continue to move and hope Vasilios has his back.

![]() |

Letting his brash nature taking the best of him Henry let his comrades gathering the documents found, and thanks to Niles' light, get away to go see if Silas needed help.
If Silas is in trouble with the people taking care of the Shrine I could be of help, I know my way around words.
He said while walking away

![]() |

Vasilios hurtles down the corridor, following close behind Lyoto, stalling only to unsling his sword. Holding it carefully as he moves, he listens hard for any further sounds of combat.
Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13

GM Could you please let us know when Vasilios and I make it to the secret passage entrance/exit? I figured it would take two or three turns.

![]() |

We don't know there was a battle so I thought the more heavy punchers of the group, Vasilios and I, would check it out. Meanwhile you guys grabbed up all the documents (Including the one about the dwarf Sky Fortress) We can't have the documents half packed up? I could be wrong and I'm sorry if I made an error.

Fargrim raises her eyes from the documents at Henry's words.
"I'll go with you too. These have kept for centuries..."
She still grabs a handful of the more interesting ones, stuffing them into her tunic as she hurries after the rest of the group, easily catching them up.
40' base move!

The half-orc gives Silas the evil eye, which will only last for 1 round since he made his save. -2 to AC
Silas lashes out at the half-orc but misses. (He wasn't really in range, but we won't worry about that... Crude map coming after this post!)
Fargrim spends her first round double-moving as well.
1d20 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8
The Shoanti steps up and swings his greatclub at Silas, but misses.
1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25
possible crit - confirm: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14 - does not confirm

The swordsman moves in and slashes Silas, tracing a deep red gash along the nagaji's arm and shoulder.
The robed man stands behind his colleagues, ready.
Vasilios spends his first round double-moving.
End of round. Everyone can declare actions and move their icons. I will post a paper map shortly to outline the badguys, since I literally can't do anything to the maps with my iPad.

Fargrim hussles as fast as she can, given there is now the sound of combat.
(can we run? that is tripple move? Fargrim only has light armour and probably a light load, depending on number of documents.)

![]() |

Hope you made it home safely, sounds like a travel disaster.

GM Lamplighter |

Round 3 (complete)
Henry, Niles and Lyoto spend their second round double-moving.
The half-orc gives Silas the evil eye again. Will save: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 2 = 13. Again, he shakes off most of its effects. [ooc]-2 to saves to 1 round; -2 to AC is gone]
Silas lunges forward and attacks the half-orc again, just hitting! longsword: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12damage: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8 The half-orc reels back in pain.

Vasilios spends his second round double-moving.
End of round 3. Everyone can declare actions and move their icons for round 4.

Vasilios, click on the the Shrine of the Failed map to see where your icon is. It makes it much easier. You'll be slightly out of the passageway with another double move
Round four: Lyoto double moves out of the passageway and sees that Silas has been wounded.
I believe I can move to that square, if I'm slightly off let me know, but I am positive I can make it out of the passageway. P.S. If something charges me and misses, I will use an immediate action to go for the Trip attempt and eat the aoo.
Free action: Lyoto Shouts: Silas! Over here!

![]() |

I did, whats frustrating for me was that I was certain I was out of the passage last round, and ended up getting moved back to where I started from. Hence why I'm confused where I am. Did I really make next to no progress with a double move last round.

Silas steps in front of the half-orc, trying to limit the opponents within striking distance. Hearing the approach of his companions, Silas smiles. "To me, quickly!" he calls out, not taking his eyes off the others. "Not outnumbered anymore," he says to the half-orc, raising his shield in a ready stance. "Still want to keep this up?"
Readying an action to swing at the next one to attack me.

GM Lamplighter |

I think what happened is that some people moved themselves an extra round, or perhaps people were triple moving which you can't do. Either way, you all heard the action in Round 1, and so started running on Round 2. At the end of Round 3, you have double-moved twice from the secret room and wound up near the opening of the secret passage. This round (Round 4), you will wind up in the main hall if you keep running.

Fargrim hustles along, using her light armour and fast movement to good effect.

GM Lamplighter |

Round 4 (complete)
Henry keeps running and emerges into the main hall. Although his view is somewhat blocked by the pillars, he can clearly see Silas beset by a group of four attackers. "Keep up Silas ! We're coming !"
Niles keeps running, and emerges into the main hall as well.
Lyoto emerges into the hall as well, and sees clearly the scene unfolding near the door. "Silas! Over here!"
The half-orc sees the newcomers, and a smile creeps across his face. "Saves us having to root out the other Pathfinder rats," he snarls, and again gives Silas the evil eye. Will save: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7 - failed! -2 to attack rolls for 5 rounds
Silas stands ready to attack. Hearing the approach of his companions, Silas smiles. "To me, quickly!" he calls out, not taking his eyes off the others. "Not outnumbered anymore," he says to the half-orc, raising his shield in a ready stance. "Still want to keep this up?"
The robed man casts a spell and reaches forward to grasp the Shoanti's shoulder.
Fargrim hustles along, using her light armour and fast movement to good effect. She emerges into the main hall and sticks close to the right-hand wall. And I appreciate someone who knows how to spell "armour"!I have to catch myself every time...
The Shoanti sees the newcomers, and a terrifying change occurs to his demeanor. He howls in rage and renews his attack with increased strength and stamina! However, he still can't seem to find Silas' mark

Vasilios emerges into the hall as well.
End of round 4 - Henry, Niles, and Lyoto are up!

Henry double moved to be at Sila's side.
Don't worry Silas, I'm here ! he said when in place. Then he turned to the assaillants and added You scums ! I'm Henry de Karthis, student of Master Jean-Baptiste la Perche du Coudray. Surrender or dies !
Henry was ready to parry any attack against him

Riposte: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10

As long Henry is adjacent to only one enemy his AC is 18 instead of 17

![]() |

Wow, lucky for me! And not that it mattered in this case, but is the half-orc holding a weapon? Cause otherwise that guy doesn't get flanking.
Silas brings his shield to bear against the big man's large club, and with the weapon knocked harmlessly aside he slashes with his sword.

Lyoto wants to get in position to help his allies. Although he sees Silas in combat, he believes the heavily armored paladin can handle himself for a time. He moves next to Niles, who looks fairly fragile, draws a sword and waits for the opportune moment to strike.
Move action: move 30 feet to be next to Niles.
Second move action: Draw temple sword.

GM Lamplighter |

Missed Silas' readied action in round 4 - he attacks the Shoanti, who was the first to attack him. The sword cuts deep into the Shoanti's side, but doesn't seem to hit any vitals. (Crit did not confirm.)
Round 5 (partial)
Henry moves to Silas's side. He turns to the assaillants. " You scums ! I'm Henry de Karthis, student of Master Jean-Baptiste la Perche du Coudray. Surrender or dies ! Henry remains ready to parry any attack against him.
Niles moves up and takes cover behind a column.
Lyoto moves next to Niles and draws his sword.
The half-orc steps back and spits an incantation at you, then points a finger at Henry! Will save: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (8) - 1 = 7
The robed man casts another spell upon the Shoanti, healing some of his wounds. 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
Fargrim is up!

GM Lamplighter |

You sure can!
Will save - reroll: 1d20 - 1 + 2 + 4 ⇒ (9) - 1 + 2 + 4 = 14

![]() |

Fargrim runs up to Silias. Obviously not thinking much, she just punches the man in front of her.
Improved unarmed strike: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
damage: 1d3 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
The timing is poor however, and she easily misses.
"Bully!" she shouts.

The Shoanti swings again at Silas, enraged that he has not been able to hit the nagaji despite several attempts.greatclub: 1d20 + 6 - 1 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 6 - 1 + 1 = 21 - hit!
damage: 1d10 + 6 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 6 + 3 = 14 He finally lands a solid blow, and Silas goes down with a sickening crunch.
The swordsman mocks Henry and Fargrim. "Come to get some of what scale-face got, hey? There's plenty of Aspis trouble for all of you!" He slashes at Fargrim. "That's for trying to hit me!"
longsword: 1d20 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 4 + 1 = 12 - miss!
Vasilios is up!

![]() |

On the assumption that I'm unable to move and be close enough to someone to hit them with my sword...
Vasilios strides as close as he can to the cluster of cultists, before striking up a defensive stance just in case one of them was foolhardy enough to attack him anyway.
Total Defence

![]() |

Actually that's a great move. Because next round you'll be an excellent charging position. If ones charges you and misses, you'll gut them quite easily.
