A ritual response of gratitude for the nymph’s protection of the temple destroys the haunt. By making this roll, you know the ritual.

Backstory: Long ago there was an aspura that tended to this shrine. When Hao Jin pulled this temple into the tapestry, it was caught. All was fine until Hao Jin disappeared, and her influence and upkeep waned. The aspura died as the glacier engulfed the temple, and her spirit still haunts the shrine, trying to protect it.

So haunts are a funny thing in Pathfinder. They're similar to traps, but are based on negative energy, lost spirits, blah, blah, blah, and can't be detected like normal traps. You have to a) notice them and b) beat their initiative in the surprise round to have any effect. To top it all off, there is typically nothing anyone but a cleric can do about them (channel energy), which isn't entirely sporting.

You can read the rules on haunts, at this link.

The haunt is triggered, and not a danger ... at least for a little while. Much like a magical trap, it with gather energy and reset over time unless one knows how to bring it peace.

There is nothing else in this room of any note.

So, where to next? If you're returning, how do you plan to exit? Who, if anyone do you take with you?

Trouble in Tamran | Sky Key Solution | Between the Lines

In an effort to move things along, I've moved up the next encounter ... I'm going to assume the baddies thus far are restrained in roughly the same areas that the fell.

As you exit the shrine room, you see and hear a large female half-orc in the main courtyard. She stands in a hostile posture, kukris drawn in each hand. "Halt, intruders! I am Leska, and you are trespassing. Throw down you arms and surrender, or be destroyed!"

Feel free to arrange youselves, no closer than 15' from her, please. (So square O9 is the closest she'd allow before challenging you.)

GM stuff:

Y: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (2) + 9 = 11

Ledt: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (20) + 0 = 20
Yâble: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18

Behind the half-orc Leska, toward the entrance, you see a male ratfolk with a silver flute in one and a shortspear resting in the crook of his arm. He's clearly with the half-orc, but doesn't look particularly interested in fighting.

And due to some favorable rolls on your part...
Everyone except Renedar sees a poorly hidden figure in dark clothing walking atop the wall on the north side of the courtyard. He carries something small in his hands, but its a bit too far away to make out.
With that roll, quite possibly the world's worst ninja.

Remember, the walls are 30' up, the top 10' are covered in ice. Excepting the circular domed areas, the temple is open to the sky.
