Are those for hitting venison and such? Take heart, comrades!" he says, casting an inspirational spell. The Keleshite streaks like a blur across the battlefield, attempting to sidestep out of the giant's reach.

Pallas stops spinning like a top and looks around at the carnage around him. "We do seem to make a mess wherever we go, don't we? Sad these creatures can't be reasoned with.

And the mighty halfling Dora, charges bravely and skewers the bear, ending it's life. Combat over.
Days later you reach what can only be described as an ugly, simple camp of crude, hide tents gathered around the side of a rocky, barren hill. A few ill-kept fires burn lazily in pits, roasting large haunches of meat or boiling pots of stew whose contents are better left unknown. By human standards, the tents are large, but the giants that live here likely find them barely big enough to sleep in. Piles of crudely painted stones lie near a pile of various weapons; most of the weapons are immense clubs, but there are also a few massive axes, swords, and spears. A few giants wander slowly about the camp, not terribly vigilant or energetic. The entire area stinks of dung, rancid meat, wet leather, old iron, and offal.

Some of the bear damage was non-lethal, but probably would end the same either way. Also, I am assuming Dora is able to heal up the rest of her bruise from the clubbing.
Keeping out of sight from the camp, she will remark on what they see and smell.
"Peeyooew, This place has all the charm of a sewer barge. Hang in there Rusty.

Davoliznakamushka snorts. "Disguise ourselves? If you can manage to disguise one of us as a giant, well sir I believe I could secure a professorship for you at the Kitharodian Academy if you ever desired one. Perhaps disguising someone as one of giant allies would be easier."
"Alternatively, waiting until the cover of night and sneaking in might work, or illusory magic is anybody has such. Or, we could manufacture some sort of distraction to lure their forces away."

My main concern is that I have nothing to mask my scent from those wolves. Perhaps I could improvise, and mask myself with the scent of another wolf." He looks rather uncomfortably at Rusty.
(stuff happens)
After his experiment in scent masking he uses magic to assume the form of a goblin of the mountainous Gutspear tribe. He takes a wand to cast expeditious retreat and passes the rod of extend spell to Dora.
