There are no obvious boxes that might have slid around. There are however 2 other men standing in the room.

Freire will step into the room, greatsword in front of him and point up so that he is prepared for defending or attacking, but still looking menacing. I play him online and live as sort of a Lt. Worf from Star Trek: TNG persona. He takes the "war" part of the class very seriously, too seriously in fact.
Perception to determine what he can of what has taken place: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 4 = 15
Sense Motive to determine what the two men are up to: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10
Depending on the above dice rolls, there may be a preemptive strike forthcoming or some dialogue. From someone else.

Andor runs to the thug that was hit by Sek and draws his Rapier. He then tries to pierce a vital spot and thrusts.

In case Andor successfully parries he uses 'Reposte' as an immediate action to attack the thug that attacked him by expending a Panache Point.

Andor starts searching the pockets of the thugs and the little girl.
