Hey-ho! Since this is the last day of OutPost I'll be going ahead and reporting the game tonight so the folks in charge can get things squared away and closed up on time. I'll be working on chronicle sheets while we wrap things up with this one last fight and should have them to you within the next day or two :)

Hi GM Ladile, many thanks for running for us! I thoroughly enjoyed it.
I'd like to skip my downtime to try to complete a Liberty's Edge faction journal goal: skip downtime to nonviolently fight for liberty - Stealth check DC 17 to skulk about the town (after the adventure is over) and put up posters denouncing slavery.
Stealth check: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9
Using my GM reroll on that:
Stealth check, stars: 1d20 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 6 + 2 = 9 Lol... Hope this doesn't mean the constabulary are going to haul me away and put me in a cell next to Zamir...
So, since I failed both of those attempts, can I go ahead and check the Liberty's Edge faction goal for Defeat a known slaver (Zamir) whose CR is at least 2? Or does attempting the prior check prevent me from doing this one?

Hmm... a quick perusal of the forums/relevant literature didn't immediately turn up an answer but I'm inclined to allow it. You're limited to checking off only one goal on a card per scenario but since your attempt to forgo downtime didn't work, I don't see why you can't check off the other goal (which you DO qualify for since Zamir is/was CR 2).
(For Redelia or anyone else that's a Society GM, if I've got this wrong by all means let me know, though!)
And I'm glad you've enjoyed the adventure, Bon Jon! I was a little worried since my posting was slower at times than I would have liked. On the other hand, this scenario is actually pretty short and straightforward when you get down to it so maybe stretching it out a little bit helped? Everyone please feel free to weigh in here (or via PM) if you've got any feedback or (preferably constructive) criticism to offer :)

And that's basically a wrap! Thank you again for being such a fun group to run for and I hope that everyone enjoyed themselves! Although the game is done, feel free to write an after-the-credits 'Easter Egg' for your character if you feel so inclined. What's an Easter Egg? Well...started by GM Hmm and very nicely summarized by KingofAnything...
<Philosophical Exploration of the Easter Egg>
The closing credits are a great place to sum up your adventure and how your character has grown throughout. You've been playing for awhile now, so take some time to look back through the adventure and think about what moments stood out as meaningful, or could be explored a little more.
Your Easter Egg can be presented as a vignette centering around your character, or as a report or letter to your superiors/family, or as a quick scene between NPCs reacting in your character's absence. There are many possibilities!
Some good questions to ask yourself and/or answer in an Easter Egg:
1. How did my character introduce themselves? Are they the same character now?
2. What relationships did my character form in this adventure? How will they end? (Or will they continue??)
3. What did my character learn about themselves or the world?
4. What does my character do between adventures?
5. Where is the pie?
Definitely not a required thing but it's fun if you're feeling inspired! I will have your chronicle sheets posted for you within the next few hours and then you can all run and be free :D

Hokay! You can find your chronicles >>HERE<<. Please look them over and let me know if everything looks good or if I need to adjust something :)

Looks, good, thanks!
This was a lot of fun; thank you for running it. I know you've commented on the slow speed a few times, but I found it to not be a problem. I have 3 'comfortable speeds' to play at, and this fell into the slow on of those slots. Leisurely, but not frustrating.
I may ask you about a faction checkoff, but first I need to find and print the concordance faction sheet.

GM Ladile |

You're very welcome! I probably worry a little more about speed than I should; I normally don't mind a leisurely pace myself but I know sometimes people book characters for upcoming events and don't want to be tied down to a game for ages and ages and thus I worry about going too slow sometimes.

I love that cute little dinosaur! Thanks everyone for the fun game. :)
Extra special thanks to GM Ladile! Thank you for running this game, I had a great time!
Oh, and speaking of faction cards, I'm hoping I qualified to tick off the following goal for the Silver Crusade.

1 person marked this as a favorite. |

Hmm...I think that could work. Starting off you actually rolled super well on your Diplomacy check against Zamir so he was inclined to play ball with you and actually be honest about it if you'd been willing to let him go or had wanted to talk him into switching his allegiance to the Society. Then you kinda beat him down and gave him no choice but to surrender! So sure, I'd let that count.

Thanks for running - it was really fun! Chronicle looks great. Will try to post an easter egg tomorrow when I get a chance.

GM, would you mind marking this scenario as inactive to move it from the active list? Thanks!

GM Ladile |

Whoops, yep, will do! Thanks again and I hope to see you all around via Flaxseed :D
