You forgot to do this in your second to the last post. Please go back and fix it.

All fixed up, this first few days will be a lot of learning but then after that we should all have this down.
Agreed. I'm already impressed with everyone's ability to remember the coding of words versus thoughts, and the seamless transition of translator language. As I've said already, and many have echoed, this campaign has the potential to be ridiculously, mind-blowingly epic. I mean, so far it's only been character conversation, and it's easily rivaled just about every other campaign I've ever played in, or GMed for.
One important note I wanted to make, before I hit the proverbial hay. In a campaign like this there are a lot of dice rolls that you people won't see. In a face to face game, you see me roll dice behind the screen all the time, and whenever possible I let you roll dice for things, because it's part of the fun. Obviously here you don't see, or get that opportunity. GM dice don't go into the gameplay post, and many times a roll that you don't know your character is making is just not posted. Point is, some rolls don't get posted period. I'll either be rolling them with digital dice or using the dice in hero lab or combat manager. So, many times, when I'm describing what's happening to your characters, there were dice involved. Say for instance a high level lich used his paralyzing touch ability to, oh, just for example, stop a Kitsune in his supplicating tracks... You would not make those rolls, and would not be privy to the results. So sometimes when it seems like I'm controlling your characters against your will, it's really me enforcing game mechanics that have successfully been enacted upon you. It might be a very frustrating part of this game for everyone, but it's something you'll all have to get used to.

Ain't no party like a dracolich party 'cause a dracolich party don't stop. :P
And to answer your question, NO! there is not a dracolich, it just fit the rhyme scheme.
Edit: That's not to say, though, that a dracolich might not show up at some point... Mwa ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.

Kaze o you should be using your shapeshifted alias when in that form. Your last gameplay post was still using the Fox alias. It will be important for all those with alternate forms to make sure they are posting under the correct alias, not only for story purposes, but so I know who I'm dealing with. If you get this in time, please go back and pick the alternate alias.
Edit: Unless you weren't shifting...? In which case you're in major trouble because you can't disguise on the fly.
Creating a disguise requires 1d3 × 10 minutes of work. Using magic (such as the disguise self spell) reduces this action to the time required to cast the spell or trigger the effect.
You might want to go back and either delete that post and start all over, or do some editing.

If Sadira wanted to get attention of the whole room could she cast deeper darkness followed by dispel magic to get that attention?
Only if she made it perfectly obvious that she was the one casting the spell, and or made a loud, table-top (ha pun intended) announcement. As your GM I might advise against it. In a room with as many shady characters as this one has, calling attention to yourself as powerful, without the real power to back it up, will make you a target. Remember you're in a room full of evil (not only in the alignment sense, but in the story sense as well) people and monsters. If they see someone that seems to have more power than they do, but is herded in with them as an equal, they might react negatively and seek to snuff your life. You don't have any real allies at this point, except Tamarelle.

Kaze o you really have to watch your aliases for posts. If you don't fix that one, I'm going to have the NPC react as if you just suddenly changed from a human to a fox-like humanoid while walking away. Remember which form you are in, and make sure to post in that form. Speaking of which, kudos to Quimkithe for remembering that in her posts.
The World Around You
I changed it!! I actually notice before your post.
That you did, good catch.

Sorry, I'm going as fast as I can. I've never built a magic user so this has been a little overwhelming.
Dhampir Winter Witch with the "Dayborn" Racial Trait instead of "Spell-like Ability".
Jiang-Shi-born (Ru-Shi) Dhampir = +2 Dex, +2 Int, -2 Wis
Str:11
Dex:13+2=15
Con:10
Int:17+2=19
Wis:16-2=14
Cha:15
Patron: Winter
Familiar: Hawk
Spells: Cure Light Wounds, Detect Secret Doors, Icicle Dagger, Unseen Servant, Frostbite, Mage Armor, Sow Thought
Feat: Improved Initiative
Traits: Manipulative,
Skill Points: 2 in Knowlege (Arcana), Use Magic Device, 2 in Spellcraft, Perception, Extra Hitpoint
Wealth: 80gp
Melee Weapon: Quarterstaff
Notes: I'd like to have a ranged weapon just in case so a normal bow and your average arrows would be great if I can afford it! Also please let me know if there is anything you think I should change or that I may have missed! I appreciate all the help you have given me already! :) I'm hoping to be able to game by tomorrow night!

Still need languages, you can have one more trait, or two more traits if you also select a drawback, and you can't put more than one skill point in any skill because you can't have more skill ranks than levels. If you can get me that, in addition to what you've provided me here, your character is done, and I can send you the PDF just as soon as you get me that info. In which case, there won't be anything, other than a completed profile, preventing you from posting in the gameplay forum. :)
Edit: I'll also need a name for your hawk familiar.
Editx2: I don't see the trait "manipulative?" Does it go by another name?
Editx3: I saw your mistake, your still looking at the racial traits associated with base race. I'm talking about these traits. They are essentially like 1/2 feats. Numerological Gift was one I know you were looking at. BTW you forgo the manipulative racial trait when you take Jiang-Shi born.
The World Around You
@Asteria:
Here's what I need from you in order to complete your character:
- 4 languages
- Where to spend 2 skill points (can't be in: Knowledge Arcana, Perception, Spellcraft, or Use Magic Device)
- 2 traits, if one of them is Numerological Gift (which is a crazy awesome trait by the way) I'll need you to roll the dice for it.
I bought you a light crossbow and 20 bolts, because that's all you're proficient with, it's a move action to reload, and does 1d8 damage. Let me know as soon as you figure these things out, and we'll get you hooked up to post in the gameplay tab as soon as we can.

Haha I just read your argument about what I should/shouldn't do. One thing I should point out is the story comes first to me. I don't care about petty rivalries between players. I care about how my character would react to each instance especially now that I am in my element here. What I feel makes a character beautiful, is when the author can give that character life, not just treat it as a fake fantastical creature, but like a living, breathing being. It's how I write, and it is the real reason I made Kaze o the way he is. 16yrs old and 5'7? match a description of anyone you know? I created him that way so I can jump into his personality, his very essence, easier than I could a bulky, muscle headed orc who, although can be very fun to fight with, would not be easy to get into his character for me. When we use a grid map and minis, I will gladly take advice because it takes me a bit to plan things out and think of every possible outcome, but here I have the time to watch Kaze o's actions, his thoughts, his responses, to make him, in a sense, real. I guess all it boils down to is that Kaze o has a part of me woven into the fabrics of his existence, making him, not just a character, but a way to learn and bond with people. I do fully realize that I'm really only conversing with about 5 people at maximum, but sometimes I get so absorbed that it doesn't feel like 5, it feels like hundreds. Its pretty cool to see fantasy as if it is real sometimes, so you can step into your characters shoes and see what they see, feel what they feel, and ultimately do what they do. Now if Kaze o needs help making a descision, he might ask (provided you are trustworthy enough), but most often, being the independance seeking teenager he is, he will act on his own accord. So when you offer suggestions ooc, more than likely, they will not be heard or they will be "taken under advisement" or, more bluntly put, ignored. And that was my 10:08 fantasy rant. Thank you very much...

First off, that was kind of beautiful. Second off I was not serious in my arguement. Based on how Kaze o interacted with Sadira I knew he wasn't going to tell me nothing. I just wanted to have some fun and arguing over trivial things is something I enjoy. And thanks for sharing, man. That is something I enjoy about this game, you can really learn things about a person. Feel free to post more rants, fantasy or otherwise. :)
Malaraith
Funny thing is, is not only do you learn about people through their characters, but sometimes, you learn a bit about yourself as well. And yes my rants are quite often very beautiful, but they are few in numbers, so if you liked em, prepare there may be more coming down this long road, and if you didn't, well they are spread thin along this long road so there won't be very many.

breath... We are not trying to force you to play a certain way, I just really want to post more, about this campaign, I can't wait until everyone is actually in this. Also every character you build, should have some sort of connection to you. Every character I have built so far does at least. I enjoy making that connection with the characters. Some it takes longer to make than others but Finwe and Sadira are two who I have basically made a certain way for a reason. They allow me to express myself through them. I completely understand what you are saying. breath...

A couple of things I noticed.
- Tamarelle you posted character actions in OOC format. You can't do that, OOC means the player is talking. So whatever you put in that blue text is not part of the story, it's part of the game.
- Tamarelle you do not have the PDF character sheet linked in your profile. Please upload it to Google Drive, and share it so that "anyone with the link can view."
- Quimkithe the links to your PDFs are either dead links, or I don't have permission to view them. Please also upload them to Google Drive and turn the sharing to "anyone with the link can view."
I'll wait until everyone (except Asteria since her character isn't even completed yet) has their character open the letter, in whatever place or manner they choose, before I post what is in the letters.
