To keep things going, i will assume you tie them to a tree, on account of having spilled on his mistress' ambitious goal. If you had chosen to take them along instead, let me know.
"Good, now that you are bound here we can go on. I am sure my companions will come back to give you water and food. I ... well, I might. Let us see." he says with a shrug.
* * *
Now ...
Suussmaar grins.
"Well, my name is Suussmaar. I really like a good dinner and a good cook is worth more to me than you might think."
He smells the air. And looks at his companions. Then back to the two men.
"Hmmm ... roasting meat! Well, we have been wandering around here for some time now. So who are you? And may we join you for lunch and pay for the meal?" he asks.
diplomacy: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (18) + 7 = 25

GM Chyro |

@ Lukaas, yes. Just the two guys and the wolf. A very alert looking wolf.
Will properly edit map when home.
The bearded one doing the cooking gives a grin, then lets out a short laugh.
"Hah! Trekking and hunting does indeed work up an appetite. Name's Jim, cook of this place, for what that is worth."
He motions briefly his head at the other, a short haired man in his late 20s perhaps.
" 's name's Frank. Fixer of tools and carpenter.....for what that is worth. Haha!"
Frank rolls his eyes....
"So, Jim asks with interest, "Just wandering the land what for? Mercenary work?
Hunting game? Or seeking to establish something? I heard the Swordlords keep trying that elsewhere, so why not practice small, eh?"

GM Chyro |

Map is up. Suussmaar, if you could place yourself where you thought to be when speaking up to Frank & Jim.

GM Chyro |

I see you moved, alright.
Frank puts away a weapon and slices off a piece of meat and tosses it to the wolf, which wolfs it down in delight. The scent of cut roast almost makes Suussmaar drool, were his mouth not held shut right now.
Frank (to the right): "I don' particularly mind if ye have a piece of mea', bu' don' jus' stand around and si' down properly to ea'.", he motions towards the small logs used for benches.
"Yer friends stayin' over there, or is they jus' no' hungry?"
Lukaas, Ella, anything you wish to add to the conversation?
1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27
Frank doesn't mind -at all-, you sitting down, more likely he'd much rather see you guys sit down and talk, rather than stand, for whatever reason.
Meanwhile Jim's still waiting for Suussmaar's answer.....

Given the confusion about tents and logs, let's assume Suussmaar and Molos found the lush grass to be comfortable enough.
Two of the crew sit down, and Ella and Lukaas keep their distance. Ella is carefully watched by the wolf. Its snout showing some past battle scars, but otherwise it is a fine looking animal.
Frank cuts off a piece of meat and tosses it towards Suussmar, who catches it and digs in. The flavor of wild animal is strong in this meal.
As two of the team sat down,
Nice place you have here. Did you trained that wolf, out of curiosity? It doesnt seem too wild...
Frank: "Nah. 'S one showed up one day. Go' friendly with another.
'S a loyal beast."Then comes the answer from Suussmaar to Jim's question.

SM Frank: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 1 = 12
SM Jim: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 1 = 13
There is a hint of thoughtful surprise on the men's faces.
From the large tent behind Frank, comes the voice of a young woman, but it sounds strong, vibrant.
"That wolf belongs with me. And you two, a team of strangers does not simply hear of us and join up. I'd have gotten word if it be so. This is a ruse!"
A strong looking she-werewolf steps out from the tent, auburn red fur gleaming in the sun, holding a sharp looking sword.
She displays the posture of a leader, determined, headstrong. She bares her fangs slightly.
"Take em out. Try to keep at least one alive for interrogation."

Molos stands up, and there is now a sixtuplet of Molos, Molis?, in his space. This surely has value for his defence, as she slightly bares her teeth again.
Wishing to increase her chances, she barks (yah can't resist a pun) orders quickly, while she sets her eyes on the other redhead nearby.
"You two, the woman.", she lets out a lupine growl, drawing the wolf's attention, she then points her sword at Molos.
She advances upon Suussmaar.

Suussmaar 5 ft steps away.
If Molos or someone else could make a knowledge check to inform us about the DR of this lycanthrope then I would appreciate that. Please assume Suussmaar delays to act last in the party to receive any such information.

GM Chyro |

Suussmaar, you were, sitting with a piece of meat in hand. (or maybe not anymore if you're a really fast eater), you had not drawn your bow just yet, from what i gather.
I'd reckon that somewhat complicates 5ft stepping, as well as making a full attack action. Let alone applying silver blanche to your arrows on top of that.
Lukaas does recall that werewolves, one of a variety of were-animal types, are vulnerable to silver weapons, and quickly lets this be known.
In turn, he quickly jabs Aldona in her flank, at which she gives him a sharp look.
7 dmg to Aldona.
Suussmaar
Molos, you can post ahead if you like. If you move, would you place an arrow please.

![]() |

Hi GM, ‘Sitting’ is not a position that is marked as being a move action to stand up or even provoke an AoO anywhere so I assumed Suussmaar can 5 step. Can he 5ft step back, draw his bow and shoot an arrow so that at least the first attack can be resolved? Silver arrows are drawn as part of the shooting from quiver.

![]() |

Molos takes a five foot step to the west and uses a point from his arcane pool to strengthen his magic missile. He then casts at the Wolf that just poppped one of his mirror images.

Could someone move me 5’ to the left, please?

GM Chyro |

If i'd have to be more specific on what i think would apply here, there is 'kneeling', being a position between prone and standing, and i took that as base here.
You can step 5ft now, but in the future, if you say you are sitting down, i'll go with the kneeling position as a base, move action to rise to standing position.
Resting partially on a knee while eating the meat, the sudden attack caught Suussmaar off guard. Displaying a nimble move, he shoves himself 5ft away, drawing his bow while still swallowing the final slice of meat he had.
*swisssh*, the arrow flies into Aldona's general direction, but the tent prevents it from properly hitting her.
