This wasn't the influence itself check. This was a check to get future bonuses on checks towards him.

Lukaas gives a large grin when he sees the costumes
Why not.. that might be pretty funny..
Perform, comedy: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14
Putting a face upon his face, Lukaas appears as a woman wearing a little too much make up. He tries to gives his voice a more feminine tone, but has an hard time doing so, so he improvises a merry song about the story of Cayden Caillean and Thais first meeting. Of course, he tries to keep the more outrageous and scandalous parts of the story hidden, using some innuendos and double entendre instead when needed, focusing the song about freedom, happiness, ales and trust
Thais beeing Cayden's herald, and a prostitute in her former life
singing: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (7) + 11 = 18
But Lukaas improvisation seems to fail to meet its public, lacking perhaps a certain dignity for the event

GM Chyro |

Botting Theo's introduction.
Perform oratory: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (6) - 1 = 5
Theo dons a costume related to one of Desna's servants.
While Toral and Sheperd pull off in impressing Vayde, the other three, with Theo in particular, do not as much.
Vayde frowns slightly, but only ever so briefly.
"Yes...tally along with your friends.
A bit of advice, youngsters, attend an opera or a play, it will educate you on your skills."
Sheperd and Toral receive a circumstance bonus on future checks towards Vayde, nice job.
In the back, the dwarf calls out.
"We have a new high bid on the wharf."
From a distance, you notice Irith gracefully walk away from the auctioneer's desk.
Not a moment after you all convene together again, does the dwarf call out again.
"The wharf has gained a new highest bid."
Myrosype now stands at the auctioneer's desk, with a seemingly satisfied smile on her face.
Irith was willing to bid, will she be able to consider pushing it further?, comes to mind.
And now for.....who is everyone going for?

![]() |

Toral realises that he now has to use his advantage with Vayde.
"Mr. Vayde, it is pleasure to be with someone of such fine taste and religious understanding. We heard that you have an interest in the Scriptum. I have to admit that we also believe that you would be a perfect fit for this area and that it could blossom under your divine guidance and insight! Let me tell you what my ideas would be for a renaissance of the faiths... " Toral says and elaborates.
kn religion, heightened awareness: 1d20 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 6 + 2 = 11 + bonus for Vayde.
Rerolling using TIME MYSTERY REVELATION (4th): Knowledge of the Ages (Su): You can search through time to recall some bit of forgotten lore or information. You can retry any Knowledge skill check you have made within the past minute, gaining an insight bonus on the check equal to your Wisdom modifier. You can use this ability a number times per day equal to your Wisdom modifier.
kn religion, heightened awareness, Knowledge of the Ages 1/6 +6: 1d20 + 6 + 2 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 + 2 + 6 = 21 + bonus for Vayde.

![]() |

As Vayde was surrounded by people Mordel moves to mingle into the crowd, stopping to chat with Cyran Androtus. "Greetings to you. I have heard that Hell Knights are looking into the Courts of Abstinence. While their methods are often too brutal, their goals of law hold merit. I believe they have some truck with the outer plane that gives their name. I wonder if there will be more portals to tend there in the Courts of Abstinence." he goes over a speech to see what interest the elf holds and perhaps to perk further interest in that place.
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (2) + 12 = 14

GM Chyro |

@ Toral,
Vayde takes you in with the observation of a hawk.
He makes a faint gesture with his hands in confirmation of his interest.
I have to admit that we also believe that you would be a perfect fit for this area and that it could blossom under your divine guidance and insight!
"And who is this 'we'? You sound like a salesman, with such talk."
Nudge nudge."You can skip the greasy flattering, young man, even if its general sentiment hold some truth, perhaps."
The obvious flattering aside, Toral manages to present Vayde with some points they both agree on. After the conversation is concluded, Vayde mingles with his guests and, some ten minutes later, the dwarf calls out again.
"Latest high bid on the Scriptum, Mr. Vayde Patronxa!"
Another success towards Vayde.
Sheperd in the meantime approaches Cyran Androtus, as he just finished speaking to a member of the staff, after which he just seems to observe the going ons. He gives you about the same look as he does on the slide, about more or less expressionless.
Sheperd loses the elf's attention almost at the start of his speech.
Not quite there.
Awaiting Molos, Lukaas & Theo.

Molos, go for the elf with kn planes and try that. He has connections to the other planes so that might work to influence him.

Theophilus keeps his eyes constantly on the auctioneer's desk.
Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11
Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9
...Well nearly constantly.
"We should chat with Irith - she bid once, she'd probably be open to a second try. I've got a pretty killer opening if someone wants to use it too."
Aid Something?: 1d20 ⇒ 5 +1 if knowledge, -1 if charisma

GM Chyro |

Molos does a very good job, capital G and J, in his conversation with Cyran. Cyran is impressed.
"An interesting observation, indeed. Do tell, have you yet heard of the first contact with the celestial archons?"....
Technically, i've got to ask.
Woukd you like this success to count for 2, or 1 success and knowledge of other skills useful towards him?

GM Chyro |

Giving Lukaas till morning, before botting. If anyone else wants to do his part for this event, feel free to do so.

![]() |

Lukaas tries to support Molos and win over our planar friend Cyran.
He tries to show confidence and also show respect!
Lukaas diplomacy : 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (15) + 11 = 26

GM Chyro |

With Molos, rolling a Kn Planes, he'd use that too, bards able to make Kn checks untrained. A bit excessive, Molos' result considered, but your call. Will update in the morning.

GM Chyro |

Lukaas manages to provide one bit of info from a story he had heard, but Molos pulls it off greatly.
2 successes towards Cyran. Going good guys.
The dwarf calls out: "New highest bid on The Working End."
Near the end of the event, he calls out the same. This time clearly Myrosype' the one bidding.
----------------------------------------------
==============================
Event 3, Irith's banquet
==============================
In the late afternoon, you arrive at a feast hosted by lady Irith. The entire thing looks amazing, and the smells of the appetizer breads and soups are most welcome.
Irith: "Welcome, honored guests. It has been a long day for us all, and i present you with a wide variety of courses with specialties from around the world. Please enjoy."
Has anyone played #6–98: Serpents Rise with their current PC, and earned the Spoils of the Siege (Rataji) boon?
After a few light courses, you are presented with an unusual dish. Cooked chuul tentacle on a bed of salad. You see Irith and her entourage delighting in the foreign delicacy....where-ever it may be considere such.
Alright, it's not required to eat it but, should you wish a circumstance bonus towards Irith for all future checks for the remainder of the mission, this is your chance to impress her. You can roll for a DC 17 fort, DC 18 [profession cook if you are], or Kn Nobility 22, to eat this correctly.
Not passing the chosen check may result in short lasting problematic side effects.

![]() |

Sheperd Mordel looks at the dish wishing internally for some simple hearty fare, but this was a place that this was normal so he attempted to progress through.
Fortitude Save: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (19) + 11 = 30
He then attempts to pick up discussions with Vayde again. "Greetings again honored elder. How goes your bidding into the Scriptorium, I would assume access to much of the religious texts there of great interest. I hope your bid is successful as we have news that some parties are looking for any property just for the mere sake of influence."
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (3) + 12 = 15
Well, my influence dice rolls really aren't paying off.

![]() |

Yes, I have played #6–98: Serpents Rise and earned the Spoils of the Siege (Rataji) boon.
Fort : 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17
Toral eats the delicious food and can handle it fortunately.
He approaches lady Irith.
diplomacy : 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (16) + 16 = 32 + bonus for food.
“Lady Irith, this banquet is extraordinary! You have shown that you as the current ruler of Alabastrine know how to pull people together for a common goal. Your influence should really continue in this city!“ he says sincerely.

![]() |

Fort: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23
Theophilus, despite his slight frame and unassuming build, is no stranger to all sorts of odd situations - choking down a tentacle is nothing new. He's quite happy to serve as second fiddle to Toral with Lady Irith, but wants to make certain that they don't dilute their efforts too far.
Was Toral's check for the docks or for another district? If it's for the docks then we're close enough that that roll won't need an aid, and I might just eyeball someone else to get a sense of what they're up to...

GM Chyro |

@ Theo, good question, but i will assume for the wharf, unless Toral decides otherwise.

Sorry, a lil" bit sick yesterday
know Nobs: 1d20 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 6 + 2 = 14
Do I really have to eat this?
Lukaas isn't really fond of the dish, and prefers to indulge in small talk while enjoying the wine

GM Chyro |

She's generally outbidding the others where needed. But that will only be viable for so long. As for the latter, *holds up a sign*
[Funny you should say that] :), but a lengthly post will have to wait till i get home.

GM Chyro |

Theo, you wanted to eavesdrop on someone? Sense motive?

GM Chyro |

Alright Theo, let's see that roll for discovering something useful. Strengths, weaknesses, useful topics/skills?
At the special dish, which some of the other guests had politely declined, three of the agents pull through by their healthy physique. Molos and Lukaas are having difficulty, experiencing a strange sensation in their mouths.
Irith stands up after the dish.
"Ladies and gentlemen, we have a little time before the next dish is served, feel free to excuse yourselves from the table until then."
As the guests start mingling again, Theo quietly slides away to eavesdrop on people, while Sheperd and Toral each head over to one of the bidders.
Vayde is not as optimistic as Sheperd, tossing a glance at Myrosype, who stands some distance away with a glass of wine in hand, observing the crowd. "Bah, that woman keeps outbidding."
His mind is too occupied it seems, for Sheperd's words to properly come across.
Over at Toral and lady Irith,
"Thank you, sir dwarf, it is good to hear when my guests are satisfied.
Indeed, times have been challenging sometimes, but this city has potential." Some small talk ensues, after which she excuses herself and heads over to the auctioneer.
Dwarf: "There is a new high bid for the wharf district.", some of the crowd look over to see who it may be, and lady Irith walks back.
You notice a look of surprise on the figure of Myrosype, who walks over to inquire with the auctioneer.
There is no second calling out, which is probably a good thing, to your impression.
Mark 3 out of 3 for the wharf.
When Molos and Lukaas try talking to one another about the food, they find their mouths and tongue to feel puffy and beyond their control.
Any words they try to say come out a slurr of sounds, preventing the two men from proper speech.
Sorry to say, but this prevents successful conversations.
You can still, however, roll sense motive or Knowledge checks to analyze the bidders.
==================================
Who?: 1d3 ⇒ 1
With two of you speaking to the bidders, Molos and Lukaas are forced to just observe, and they notice Myrosype approach Cyran, and they are within earshot of the two.
Myrosype: "Greetings, sir Androtus. I had noticed you were approached by the bold unaffiliated attendees earlier. It may interest you to know, that they belong to the Pathfinder Society. The Pathfinder Society may produce capable agents, but they are best suited for delving into
muddy ruins rather than playing at understanding matters of business and profit."
"The dwarf, for one, used the noun 'we' when speaking to patriarch Patronax, implying a group or organization wants him to have custody of a district. Quite direct and suggestive, wouldn't you say?
The tiefling who spoke with you earlier, had you seen his table manners at the latest dish? Not too civilized."
Cyran observes with a slight expression of thoughtfulness at her words.
Molos and Lukaas then hear her weave a tale of the vast riches they could gain through cooperation for mutual benefit. The two of you hear her suggest a business deal, she proposes him ceding the district to her in exchange for a share in several of her business ventures, including ownership of several valuable buildings within the district.
Cyran's eyes hold a look of interest, growing sharper as the deal unfolds.
The elf strokes his chin in a thoughtful manner.
"Lady Myrosype, this is quite a proposal. One i must admit to consider strongly, indeed."
Myrosype bows slightly and says, "Please accept this simple token as a show of my good faith, and a symbol of the profits to come."
She then presents the Androtus with an elaborate golden mantle.
1 deduction on the progress towards Cyran Androtus.
Sheperd, you were surprisingly accurate. *looks over towards Toral's acquisition of a specific boon*
If anyone had acquired that boon, this particular thing happens.
After the break is over, everyone resumes the banquet. Molos and Lukaas find their senses and muscles returning to working order, once more able of speech.

![]() |

Sense Motive: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8 For useful topics for Cyran if relevant :-|

![]() |

Heh, just was waiting for the other shoe to drop. Didn't expect it was boon related although.
Sense Motive: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (7) + 8 = 15
Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13
Assuming Mordel isn't too busy failing to talk.

GM Chyro |

Molos & Lukaas, would you still like to make those analyze/observe rolls, or skip them?

GM Chyro |

Being near Cyran, the two agents decide to watch him for further exploits.
Sense motive Lukaas: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14
While he does speak with another elf briefly, the two don't catch the subtleties of their conversation, to find an exploit on him.
Theo, watching from another angle, isn't having much luck either. Then the bell went to resume the banquet.
The event comes to a close at mid-late evening, where the sky has turned dark and is, contrary to the previous night, filled with stars.
=======================
The next day, around 9:00 AM;
=======================
Cyran keeps quiet, when everone gathers at Kerse's market square. He has everyone brought to a warehouse in Kerse’s small industrial district. Irith and Temel scoff at the musty interior of the warehouse’s gutted interior.
Once all the guests arrive, Cyran and his aides usher everyone to the center of the warehouse, where a vibrantly colored storm of magical energy is brewing.
Moments after the guests assemble in the center of the circle, the warehouse disappears.
All find themselves transported to a tall spire in the city plane of Axis. Here, golden walls hold windows that gaze down at the planar metropolis below.
Inevitable servitors act as security and guests to the extravagant planar vista, which is stocked with a sampling of small foods and drinks from across the multiverse. This large
chamber has no visible exits.
Further updates when i'm home.

GM Chyro |

The guests' nerves are slightly on edge, what with a sudden inter-planar jump. Yet the view this vantage point provides, equally instills a feeling of oversight in the people present.
In effect for now, intimidate rolls get a +2 circumstance bonus, as do Profession Merchant checks. Of course, some (or both) of those may be ineffective on some of the bidders.
This being a plane of Lawful alignment, all non-lawful PCs take a -2 penalty on all Int, Wis, and Cha checks. Penalties which, after looking at the sheets, affects everyone but Sheperd.
You notice Cyran walk from guest to guest, holding a piece of parchment, at which they each individually look and speak of.
Eventually he comes to you each, as well.
"Indulge me. I have here several contracts, i would like to hear your opinion on. Are they flawed in any way, or are they solid?"
Every PC can make a skill check, choosing from Linguistics, [Profession: Barrister], or Kn Engineering, DC 18, to try and find a flaw in the contracts. Should you succeed, you will get a circumstance bonus to all future influence checks towards Cyran.

![]() |

Thanks GM, just a note that I actually did want to influence Irith and not the wharf topic as I would otherwise have mentioned the wharf. And I think I had two successes so I’d rather keep it with Irith. But to keep continuity I will now roll for the wharf and we can then keep two successes for Irith personally if that is ok GM?
Linguistics : 8 + 1d20 ⇒ 8 + (18) = 26
The dwarf looks at the contract and is slightly agitated that such an easy task is presented.
“Dear Cyran, it is obvious that flaws are visible here ... and here! But this part here is very well written!“ Toral says while pointing at the different sections.
* * *
Later Toral approaches Lady Irith on the Wharf. “I believe it was a very, very wise choice to bid for the Wharf! The distribution channels that are opened up by water routes are endless!“
Diplomacy Wharf Irith : 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (7) + 16 = 23

Ouch, so everyone else is -2 on all their skill checks here.
Sheperd Mordel looks over the document knowing that this would likely be beyond him and missing the simpler small communities of Erastil compared to this large and overly complex one.
Linguistics: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
Approaching Vayde about the Scriptorum. "Most interesting to actually visit a place of the gods more directly. Makes one want to make sure they remember it all or see the interpretations that others have made, although I am sure a Lord such as yourself would find easy access to the libraries of the Scriptorum."
Adding in the +2 for earlier impression.
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 12 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 12 + 2 = 31

![]() |

Theophilus stalks around the party as though someone had shoved nettles in his drawers. "This place so neatly folded away its gonna give me hives."
The contract's details don't draw his attention, "I'm usually more of a 'paid in full kinda' guy." None trained
However, another chance to seal the deal with Irith seems very important. "Look, you know that the work you've done has put this place on the upswing - now's the time to make big moves, so you can reap the profits once someone else has all the headaches. Especially if you're already scooping up the docks, it could be a great time to really cement your hold outside of the vagaries of politics."
Profession (merchant): 1d20 + 9 + 2 - 2 ⇒ (19) + 9 + 2 - 2 = 28 +Tentacle bonus

GM Chyro |

Theo, Toral's gone for Irith's influence check already.

![]() |

Molos again saunters up to the elf, trying to discuss other planes in an attempt to glean some insight into their thoughts.
Know. Planes 1d20 + 9 - 2 ⇒ (8) + 9 - 2 = 15

![]() |

Sorry, was a lil"bit sick yesterday
Lukaas doesn't feel at ease on the plane of Axis, as if his senses and wits were dulled
Nevertheless, his prowess with words allows him to find a few flaws in the contracts, and he helps himself with a generous cup of wine, if only to chase away the taste of salad out of his tongue (because the chuul tentacle in itself was exquisite!)
Linguistics: 1d20 + 8 - 1 ⇒ (15) + 8 - 1 = 22

![]() |

I thought he'd swapped it so that this time he was working on the docks, and I'd be able to work on her separate influence :-/

Theo, I think that the elf is more important as we still need more sucesses with the guy. And he is into trade in the planes so prof merchant could work!

![]() |

@Toral With yourself, Lukaas and myself we have 3 good diplomacy rolls. Theo with Merchant could be counting as a 4th so we can try to successes on each of the bidders in this round and the next. Just a matter of how hot or cold our dice are. Again assuming we don't have any other upsets like the previous round.

GM Chyro |

Sheperd's suggestion is good. Though the limit of successes is 2 max, when beating required DC. Everyone makes the same skill check though.
Molos, are you making an influence roll or an analyze for further exploits?

GM Chyro |

That just leaves Lukaas to choose a target to either analyze or roll aid another for.
Toral > Irith
Sheperd > Vayde
Theo > Temel
Molos > Cyran

![]() |

Diplomacy, aid another: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (7) + 11 = 18 I don't have Know PLanes, unfortunatly
Lukaas was listening to the whole conversations, an was ready to lend a few good words to anyone who was near a social faux-pas

GM Chyro |

Right, here we go. Based on diplomacy rolls, i'll have Lukaas work with Toral on this.
Molos, despite the influence of the lawful influences, manages to discuss a particular topic, that Cyran brings up. The elf was already impressed by Molos' previous knowledge, which may well have been his saving this time.
Sheperd, emboldened by the lawful flow of the plane, makes a great impression upon Vayde, who smiles faintly for a moment, agreeing the future prospect is worth investing.
Theo approaches Temel, with a topic of business and profit in mind.
Despite it, Temel's not convinced in the least.
Toral brings up a good point, where trade through the wharf is concerned.
Whereas Irith seems to ever be a figure of standing, she makes some faint signs of thinking about the matter.
Successes for all except towards Temel. Sheperd's rocked enough to score 2 successes with Vayde.
All of them, save for Temel, make their way to the auctioneer at some time or another, making the dwarf announce about new high bids a couple of times.
Dwarf: "Ladies and gentlemen, only one more gathering before the final results are announced."
Eventually, the event comes to a close, and Cyran dismisses the effect, and the guests find themselves back in Kerse’s warehouse.
===========================================
The following day, the final chance,
===========================================
It is around halfway the afternoon, that everyone gathers at Myrosype's estate, at which, to everyone's surprise, she takes you down to a small underground stadium in the depths of her estate.
"Ladies and gentlemen, i would treat you to a variety of athletic and
gladiatorial displays performed by experts from distant Iblydos, my homeland. They are all skilled athletes and martial experts. Beverages and food shall be provided during this time."
During one of the sporting events, where the athletes pull off some impressive feats, an aide comes to your group.
"Gentlemen, lady Myrosype would have a personal meeting with you. If you would follow me please."
You are led to a modest space outside of earshot of other guests.
As you enter, she puts down a goblet of wine she was holding, while overlooking the gathering.
"Ah, there you are, welcome.", she says with a hospitable but formal expression.
"I'll be right to the point.
I recognize your efforts are a disruptive element to my own bidding on Alabastrine. Everyone should think for themselves, and you push them around against me."
"You and i are both quite aware violence ends poorly here in Druma, so i will make you an offer.", and she looks at you all.
"You inform me whose ears you've been talking into, and who has been convinced to buy the Luminous Wharf. In return, i will provide you with a generous supply of gold in untraceable installments over the next several months, so that the Pathfinder Society will never know that it came from me. Furthermore, if ever you should run into trouble with the Aspis Consortium, leading to an ill timed disappearance, i will ensure my own will discretely deliver you back to freedom."
Translation: She will provide you with a sum that scales with your PC level, up to a certain maximum. If you're ever captured, the 5 PP body recovery/bail is negated. This also ensures negative effect/boons you'd otherwise suffer from being captured.

![]() |

Toral is amused.
“You seem to be very desperate lady! My family has been part of the Exchange faction of the Pathfinder Society for generations. My brothers are all part of the Society. We are trying to work for trade that brings luck, fairness and prosperity to those in that work, trade and consume!“ he says shaking his head.
“I’ll never accept your offer!“
