Holding out the fragment as she approaches Toral, Lukaas' gut tells him that things don't add up, this is suspicious!
But alas, his gut spoke a little too late, as while approaching Toral, the woman brandishes a sharp dirk, trying to stab Toral.

Though surprised, Toral dodges the blade, and sees a second dagger displayed, as the shard of pottery drops to the stone bridge floor, and she lets out a loud shout.

With a frown, Mordel steps forward and to the side to have a clear overview of the area. Pulling bow to the ready as he moves, he surveys the area for any confederates that the dwarven woman had as this bridge seemed an easy choke point.

An arrow clatters onto the stone, and the two agents look up to notice the silhouette of someone up in an alcove inside the dwarf eye north.

The magic missile hits its target, but Sheperd's projectile bounces off the stone.

Theo's 2nd blast takes out the brigand, having served blunt justice for lunch. The other one, seeing Fowrah on the floor and his mate going down, immediately drops his weapon and puts his hands behind his head.

It is harmless with this attack, but i'd consider it a hit, due to their height advantage (20ft up, fyi) and wide open terrain.

Out of your captives, the only one producing an occasional muffled sound is Fowrah. The other two are very cooperative and keep quiet. Th trek is still a way ahead of you, however.

Beyond the Path of Commencement, the mountain pass winds down into the southwestern border of Druma. A golden-framed signpost illustrating the region is the only notable landmark denoting the border. The map depicts the entire nation of Druma, with important landmarks and cities denoted by sparkling gems.

Though as you approach this landmark, a half dozen armed men and women, led by a man in an officer's uniform, await you. The officer holds his hand up, kindly requesting you stop.

"Greetings, travelers. I am Colonel Hachren of the Mercenary league, Druma's military. What brings you to the Drumish border? And what's with them?", as he points at your trio of captives.

Colonel Hachren takes the bandits out of your care, and you continue your journey.

Some two and a half days hiking, and you finally reach Petitioner's Port.
There had been a booking done on your behalf, and you can board without much delay. The boat departs and, as night falls, you can see the island city Alabastrine in the far distance, lit by the magical lighting of the Luminous Wharf.

In the morning, the boat docks in Druma's capital, the city of Kerse.

"Ladies and gentlemen.", there is knocking at the doors,
"We have reached our destination, we expect to disembark within the hour. Please gather your belongings before then."

The manor estate is quite a sight indeed, and he quickly opens the door, directing you towards a large living room.

Sitting down does wonders for your back, such softness in its seat and back.

The servants serve you a grand plate of fruits, three variants of bread accompanied with multiple types of cheese and sliced meat.

For beverage, they offer you a fine red wine. Though if you really long for it, a beer from a barrel in stock.

A mere half an hour into your wait, a few servants bring you all a courtier outfit and some jewelry.
"Gentlemen, as one butler-y type speaks up, your current attire is unseemly for respectable individuals in Druman society. Mr Passad lends you these for the duration of your stay."

Unless some of you are wearing highly stylish clothing & jewelry by default, of course.
