Eitylen's alchemical mixture explodes the walking dead in thousands of tiny little pieces. Where the abomination once stood, now there is little more than a puddle of blood, pus and qualified guts.
A moment later one of the monsters staggers towards Brother Cyrus and tries to grapple him.
Grapple: 1d20 ⇒ 15
The creature's claws take hold of the young priest.
Frederick's turn.

GM Lemmy |

Fredericks blade splits the creature's head in half. The blade is swift and cut is clean. The half-orc barely feels any resistance.
Not the type for advanced tactics, the next zombie simply repeats the action of his now-decapitated friend... And rushes in to grab the nearest living creature.
Grapple: 1d20 ⇒ 10
And once again Cyrus has undead hands grasping at him.
A different abomination tries the same against Frederick.
Grapple: 1d20 ⇒ 2
...And fails miserably.
Lt.Lorena, seeing the group of monsters attacking two of her newest allies, draws her silversheen sabre as she rushes forward. She attacks the creature grappling Brother Cyrus
sabre: 1d20 ⇒ 6
She slices the creature's arm and chest, destroying the undead abomination.
In response to her movement, the last creature moves forward and attacks her...
Grapple: 1d20 ⇒ 17
Grabbing her by the shoulder with monstrous strength, despite its half-rotten muscles.

"..." Lt. Lorena looks are Frederick with a puzzled look for a second... Then she speaks in a sassy tone. "You must be the smart one in your group..."
She walks carefully around the room, avoiding the bodies lying on the floor, and enters what seems to be the place's main office and starts searching the place.
"Help me look for clues or hidden exits. There must be something to be found in this place."

GM Lemmy |

Scavion did mention something about searching the toilet...
I think I'll just speed things up a bit.
Eitylen moves forward and checks the trapdoor he had seen before the dead decided they wanted a little exercise.
There is an eerie green smoke coming from it... When he checks for traps, Eitylen finds that there was indeed one, but it's been triggered already an no one bothered to rearm it. A few poisonous darts would shoot at whoever carelessly opened this thing.
The door leads to a small room with three doors... two of them are fully open... revealing some sort of business office with many casino chips lying on a large desk and what must have been an staff room. It has a couple beds, a small table and a small toilet.
Neither room shows any sign of fight, but they still smell of rot and rust. The last door leads to completely dark corridor... You can't tell how far it goes, but it leads at least half a mile away. In this tunnel there are a large plain-looking door and two small ones that have very detailed decorative carvings.
You can hear muffled groans and moans of pain coming from the first door and angry voices coming from the second one.
Roll 20 updated.

Brother Cyrus |

"Hurry! We might be able to save someone." Cyrus says as he rushes down the hall.

GM Lemmy |

Finally home... Now I can actually post! :)
You open the door... Slowly revealing a what seems to be an underground gambling house. With roulette, dice and decks of card everywhere... On the floor, there are more than a few bodies, all of which are exhaling the same sickly-looking green smoke you saw in the corridor from missing body parts...
At the opposite end of the room, you see a single moving body. The only one who isn't completely dead... yet. It's a man in his late thirties, wearing clothing that would be considered quite chic, were it not drenched in blood, pus and... something else.

"Drink this..." Brother Cyrus offers the man a vial of holy water.

GM Lemmy |

"NO! DON'T...!" screams the man a moment before he feels the holy energy wash over his body. "GYAAAAAAAH!!!"
The man starts having violent spasms and convulsions once the holy energy is gone, and quickly loses all traces of life.
Him and a few other corpses in the room shake in agony... Four of them quickly stand up, reacting much like animals in the presence of danger. The man with who you were talking seems dead... for now.
"Oh... Come on!" complains Lt. Lorena. "Does no one have the decency to stay dead anymore?"

You no longer hear angry voices coming from the room next to this one... But Frederick can still hear a few soft steps coming from there. At least two creatures stand in that room.
