Female Half-Orc Bloodrager 7 HP: 84/84; AC: 17,T: 10, FF: 16; Fort: +9, Ref: +4, Will: +4; Init: +0; Perception: +10

Bringing her hammer around for another strike while staying put she brings her weapon down upon the creature in front of Eldan.

Squishy squish: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (8) + 12 = 20

Ouchies: 1d8 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10

Double Squish: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17

As she brings her hammer back around for a second swipe at the creature, she over extends her reach slightly and misses as the hammer goes swooshing by it's face.

Female Witch 7 /\/\ HP: 32/38 | AC: 13 | Tch: 13 | FF: 11 | Fort: +2 Ref: +4 Will: +6 | Perception: +7 |

Seeing an opportunity, the black wolf leaped forward and tried to take the undead thing down.

Move to F-6.

Bite: 1d20 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 + 2 = 8

Why did I bother to bring this wolf in?

Corda's mind flashed back to her last familiar's fate, and that image spurred her into action. Quickly she moved forward and attempted to stab the Creeper.

Move to G-8.

Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21

Stabby Stabby: 1d4 + 1d6 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (4) + (2) + 1 + 1 = 8

Attack: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (12) + 18 = 30; Damage: 1d4 + 12 ⇒ (3) + 12 = 15

The ghoul falls and a sort of quiet falls upon the area. You still hear shouting from elsewhere in the city.

Combat Over.

Female Half-Orc Bloodrager 7 HP: 84/84; AC: 17,T: 10, FF: 16; Fort: +9, Ref: +4, Will: +4; Init: +0; Perception: +10

She nods, "Right then. We need to get to where the solders and them are because we really really need to find Renault and Gaston now. I just hope we're not too late." Stopping for a moment she asks, "Should we try to find them, or try to fend off the other ghouls that headed toward the barracks or market area?"

Female Witch 7 /\/\ HP: 32/38 | AC: 13 | Tch: 13 | FF: 11 | Fort: +2 Ref: +4 Will: +6 | Perception: +7 |

"The Market I think," Corda said as her wolf started fading away.

Male Reincarnated Kobold Fighter 11 HP: 79/82; AC: 25, T: 17, FF: 19; Fort: +9, Ref: +11, Will +6 (+3 vs. fear), Perception: +2, Initiative: +7

Eldan shrugs. "We can go to the market, but, if more soldiers fall, there's going to be no one to hold the wall."

Female Half-Orc Bloodrager 7 HP: 84/84; AC: 17,T: 10, FF: 16; Fort: +9, Ref: +4, Will: +4; Init: +0; Perception: +10

She shakes her head, "No...we need to go to the barracks and make sure the solders are okay then. We can't jeopardize the whole town for the few in the market place. Besides...it's the middle of the night, there wouldn't be that many merchants there at this time anyways."

Female Human Shaman (Heaven spirit/ Life Spirit) HP:46/46 /46; AC: 14, FF: 12, T: 12; F: +2, R: +4, W: +10; Init: +2; Perception: +4

"True, and like you said, anyone in the market van run, the soldiers will try to hold the barracks, and the last thing we want would be armed soldiers rising as ghouls." Vishanti adds turning to head toward the barracks.

About half a mile from the barracks, you see about a dozen soldiers trying to repel just as many ghouls. Renault is among their numbers.

Female Half-Orc Bloodrager 7 HP: 84/84; AC: 17,T: 10, FF: 16; Fort: +9, Ref: +4, Will: +4; Init: +0; Perception: +10

Derika quickens her pace to help even the numbers and try to fight away some of the ghouls.

Male Reincarnated Kobold Fighter 11 HP: 79/82; AC: 25, T: 17, FF: 19; Fort: +9, Ref: +11, Will +6 (+3 vs. fear), Perception: +2, Initiative: +7

Eldan keeps pace with Derika as they approach the fray.

Female Human Shaman (Heaven spirit/ Life Spirit) HP:46/46 /46; AC: 14, FF: 12, T: 12; F: +2, R: +4, W: +10; Init: +2; Perception: +4

Breaking into a run, Vishanti joins the race towards the barracks, her vision shifting as they get closer to perceive the energies of life and death, seeing injuries or possible infection.

When we're close, activating Life sight for a round. Life Sight (Ex): The shaman can see the states of life, death, and general health of those around her. When she uses this ability, she can tell whether or not creatures within 30 feet of her that she can see are living, wounded, dying, or dead. She can also tell if those creatures are confused, disabled, diseased, nauseated, poisoned, sickened or staggered. At 12th level, when using life sight she is able to sense all nearby living creatures; this functions similar to blindsight, but only for living creatures within 30 feet of her. The shaman can use this ability a number of rounds per day equal to her shaman level, but these rounds do not need to consecutive.

Female Witch 7 /\/\ HP: 32/38 | AC: 13 | Tch: 13 | FF: 11 | Fort: +2 Ref: +4 Will: +6 | Perception: +7 |

Corda moved forward as well, trying to get into a good position for one of her spells.

Most of the soldiers, including Renault, are wounded. One of them is diseased. As you approach, you see a ghoul mounted on a dire boar, obviously the commander of this group.

Eldan hurries to Renault's side to aid the soldiers.

Double move.

The ghouls concentrate on the weaker soldiers.

Some of the soldiers freeze up as the paralysis takes hold, but those bitten manage to stave off the disease. One falls to the ground. The sole diseased soldier barely remains on his feet.

Female Half-Orc Bloodrager 7 HP: 84/84; AC: 17,T: 10, FF: 16; Fort: +9, Ref: +4, Will: +4; Init: +0; Perception: +10

Not looking behind her she says quickly to Vishanti and Corda, "See to the wounded and fallen. Either heal them, or kill them. But don't let them come back like that." She then runs up to the soldier directly in front of her before throwing out some bolts of energy at the ghoul in front of Renault.

Moving to F9, casting Magic missle on G6

Dashing forward Vishanti begins an invocation, the blessing of the stars washing over her companions and each of the fighting soldiers, invigorating their ability to keep fighting as she looks to the most wounded.

Move to F11, cast Bless 50ft radius burst all living soldiers included as allies, +1 morale bonus on attack rolls and on saving throws against fear effects.

Double Move to M-9.

Female Witch 7 /\/\ HP: 32/38 | AC: 13 | Tch: 13 | FF: 11 | Fort: +2 Ref: +4 Will: +6 | Perception: +7 |

Not seeing a viable position, Corda took flight and hovered above the battlefield.

Standard Action, Flight Hex. Fly at the 45 degree angle to F-11. That should put me about 30 ft up.

Seeing that we're headed out of town, I'm probably going to suspend combat until we get back Sunday.

Female Human Shaman (Heaven spirit/ Life Spirit) HP:46/46 /46; AC: 14, FF: 12, T: 12; F: +2, R: +4, W: +10; Init: +2; Perception: +4

That makes sense. Just talking/interacting is one thing but combat more complicated.

The soldiers manage top finish off the frontline ghouls and some move toward the second line, dealing some damage to a couple of them. The creepers retailiate.

I only have 1 Remove Disease, and my healing S9, who is diseased, keeps him from dying and coming back. The fever won't kill them immediately, but HP damage will. We keep them alive until after the battle, then I'll treat the worst one and get to the rest tomorrow.

By some miracle she shakes off the effect of the creepers attack once again. Closing her eyes for just a moment she prays silently in her mind. Okay....I know I've never been one of much faith and I don't really know what any of you might want with us....but I'm pretty sure we're not meant to die here today, so if we could just get a little help we'd really appreciate it. So would all the people we're trying to help.
