That's true. But we can work around it. I don't want items o be that big a thing....
We *could* just roll the expected bonuses into the level progression and drop the treasure allocation to compensate...
Thoughts?

We're in a town, it's not that difficult for us to equip while we're there, it's the long stretches in between that can be dangerous.
Just think when dropping treasure that you've go a finesse character, a tank, an alchemist,(which honestly lets you do cool things like him finding a new formula scrwled in a back room somewhere, and a spellcaster.

Quick question as I know we're veering from the AP a bit and going with a more steampunk, Victorianesque feeling. Is much of the action going to occur within the city, and if so would it be possible to retool my archetype to Urban Ranger.
Haven't used any of the benefits of Sirmisher, or even favored terrain for that matter.
Just fits the feel better, and it means we effectively get a rogue as well.

Even as written, you have a good point. After this, there is stuff in the sanetorium, *some* outside stuff, then it gets all urban again.
As written, it doesn't really get into the wilds until volume 3, or 4.
So do what you think is best, I have no problem with you retooling like that.

I need to get a little bit meta for a moment.
It should be pretty obvious that I'm not managing to keep up with once per day posting, and that's having a knock on effect of people not checking as often, and then things generally slowing down.
That's probably something that isn't going to change in the near future, (Three kids, a full time job, organising a wedding, and studying for a work-related cert kinda doesn't help with that ;) ) so we have three options.
1) Can the game, which I really don't want to do!
2) Move to a slower posting schedule
or 3) Keep going as we are, but with some pauses every now and again waiting for me.
2 I think could work if we pick a day of the week, probably Friday, where I post in the morning to move things on, and everyone reacts to that. I can handle reactive posts through the week, and weekend, but the points where things are waiting on me would all get shunted out to the next Friday. That means I don't have the guilt factor, and everyone knows when to check in, so we may get some more in character flow going on.
That could be complicated though, so I want to know what you all think.
If you are happy with the way it's moving at the moment, pipe up too!

I know what it is to bite off more than I can chew, like when I had to drop out a bit back there. I don't know how you find the time to GM with that kind of workload as is.
As far as the game, I do find it hard to remember what we are supposed to be working on sometimes after a long pause. I also don't know how we are going to be able to do combat at a slower pace.
I don't mind if we pause the game until after the wedding and you have your certification.

Heh, it's not as bad as all that. Like I said, I basically live on the internet at work, so I can be pretty reactive, and i have all the stats I need available through d20pfsrd.... So combat isn't actually too bad...
It's the setting up the combats that's interesting, making sure you have the right clues etc etc, and like in this case, drawing out the map.

I've found it very difficult to get into either my character or the storyline at the pace we've been maintaining. Playing a replacement character doesn't help, either, as Jerjia hasn't really managed to find a niche within the group yet. I don't know if a once-a-week update schedule would help with that or not.
