I can't find the cost of water on the SRD...I think it is reasonable to believe that you will find a well somewhere and fill the barrels there.
I am sure you could find a huckster willing to sell you water, for a silver per gallon. He would probably slap the label 'Piduts' or 'Evian' on your barrels after he filled them for you too.
Piduts water sales. I will have to remember that. :D

Glad you guys enjoy it,
I've found Daz Studio to be a good player and GM tool.
And now folks have a REAL idea of how tall they are to each other.
Believe me, it shocked the first group I did it for in that players and GM could now accurately see the differences and the differences were bigger then they imagined they were.
Notice: if you plan on picking up Daz Studio for character and scene rendering best to pick one generation and stick to it otherwise it gets expensive and a number of items don't transfer to another generation well.
I Recommend either Genesis 2 or 3 for high detail and new content, though Genesis 1 is the cheaper route, but you'll have lower detail models and there will be next to no new content for it.

It is a very nice reference...thanks for that Titania. Added the link to our campaign info so that it will be accessible in the future.
I half expect them to break into a dance number.

Fenlin - your comment could still go either way depending on what facade you are wanting to wear. A true afficianado that thinks very highly of himself would probably think that the '74 is trash, not much better than tavern ale.
A more humble tradesman just starting out though might see the '74 as being at or slighly above his station. While it is not the rarest of wines, it is still rare. There are not many that can claim they have drank Fire Sylf at all.

Sorry for the wall of text.
Scene changes take a lot sometimes. Phew.
New map of the 2nd floor of the hereos' purse has been put in the campaign info. It doesn't really match the first floor, but that is because I am using what is available online instead of building it myself...don't have software to make it look nice...so it would just be excel line drawings. We will have some of those, but I like these better when possible.
Anyways...you're in your suite now. What do you want to do?

I also think that we should put some "noise makers" (silverware and whatnot) or other notification system on all the windows and doors. Can we just do that, or do you need a Disable Device check?

Without any NPCs in the room you guys are on your own RP wise for the next bit. Discuss as much as you want regarding your next steps, let me know if there are any actions you want to take.
Based on the conversation I see 3 directions that your Choose Your Own Adventure can go down right now. They are not necessarily exclusive.
They include
1) Macgyver an alarm system against intruders. (No rolls needed per previous decision, just rp)
2) Go outside through the private door and try to follow the hooded figure when he leaves the in. (Perception check through the window [if desired] to make the change to a door and stairs while no one is watching...{only one person would need to make this check, but multiple can if you want}. Stealth check to sneak down the stairs and hide until hooded figure comes out...{everyone that is going on this "recon mission" will need to make this check} )
3) Go to sleep. (No rolls needed, unless you are feeling like an insomniac)
As always there is also option 4) Something entirely different that the GM does not expect.

I am good with whatever the team decides. I can post often and don't want to start taking over or stealing thunder. That said, I want everyone to have an opportunity to post and give their two coppers worth.

Sounds like no one wants to go on a field trip with you Fenlin.
You are welcome to go by yourself, the city is generally pretty safe to wander in, although like anywhere dangers can lurk in the darkness at night, so your safety is not a gaurantee.
If not, let's set a watch schedule and your desired trap and get the game moving.

Need a little bit of information before my next post (try not to read to much into it I'm sure).
Are you guys all sleeping in the main room together, or have you split between the main and the second room since you have been given the run of both (there is only 1 king size bed in each...so I am guessing either bed sharing or sleeping bags on the floor. There are also coaches in both rooms that the shorter party members could probably make comfortable.)
What room is the person sitting up for watch staying in? Or are you roaming back and forth with some regularity.
Also, what's your favorite color?

GM BC4Realz |

I have updated the map so it is editable by all. Feel free to move your icons yourself, or I can do it when I process the round.
Fenlin, I performed your movement for you. I did only do the necessary 5ft step to bring you into melee though...If you would prefer a different position tactically please feel free to change it.
Also if it makes you feel any better, the silverware that fell from the window did make the will save to wake up easier for your party members. I had originally planned on it being a fairly difficult DC 20.

Icons match forum avatars. You may need to zoom in on the image to see more clearly...there is a magnifying glass button for that function in the Google Draw toolbar.
Aran, you are in the middle of the room, a 5 ft step away from one of the hostiles. You decided to sleep on the bearskin rug because that was more comfortable than the wooden floor apparently.

A note on posting regularity.
I did not talk about this during recruitment...in part because of inexperience with PbP GMing. But let's talk a little about what kind of pace we can expect everyone to be able to manage?
For myself I would love a minimum of 1 post per day when appropriate M-F, which seems to be the standard on these forums. It will allow us to get deeper into the story within a decent timeline.
What do you guys think? How often do you find yourself with around 30 free minutes to do catch up reading and to draft a couple of sentences?

Lol, wasn't trying to activate it, just get an idea of what is does. Now I know. Not killing two-thirds of the team and burning down the inn was simply a fortuitous accident...er..lucky circumstance.. benefit ...um ..bonus?
