Lutke Geshburger
Lutke hears the wailing of Mudknuckles and fear at "Yeti!" begins to work its way into his mind. Lutke's vision pictures the angry troll from the cave, just as the horse and rider burst into view. Seeing the imminent collision, Lutke attempts to dive aside!
Agility 40 v. 1d100 ⇒ 10 Success!
In a move he recently picked up while fleeing a winter-cursed hag, Lutke dives forward, crossbow clutched to his chest, and falls into a roll. Coming up into a crouch, Lutke brings the crossbow up somewhat awkwardly in his best impression of The Gray Wolves marksmen he had seen. He looks around wildly for the Yeti.
Perception (Int 37) 37 v. 1d100 ⇒ 25 Success!
Lutke sees the crazy scene before him clearly. He identifies the situation needing attention and springs into action.
Lutke is now waiting for description of the ensuing tangle and potential threat. What he will do next is dependent on the scene Dagon and the others lay out for him. :)
Dagon Waters
Lutke: You deftly rolls foward in an impressive acrobatic move and bring yourself to peer over the crest. READ the MUDKNUCKLE spoiler on the previous page. Those things are coming closer. "Is that possible?" you think to yourself? Can they really be "human?"
Gretta:1d100 ⇒ 86 Agil FAIL!!!"EEEEEEEEEKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!" 1d100 ⇒ 4 Toughness check: PASS! She is thrown into the air her arms and legs flailing and lands HARD 1d6 ⇒ 1: dmg
Donkey:1d100 ⇒ 56 Toughness check FAIL!!HEEEEEEEEHHHHHHHAAAAAWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!! Donkey and the rider's horse seem as one as Donkey is broken out of his harness and collides amoung the rocks after tumbling several feet down the road. Neither he or the horse make any further movement
Njord Freyr
As my description unfolded it would seem like Njord would not be near the wagon at this time and thus immune to the agility check. If you recall, Njord had been away from the party and trying to work himself towards the oncoming threat. I'll follow this line of logic, but I can backtrack if needed.
All hell breaks loose. It happens fast. In a moment Njord can see the rider, all wild eyes and gray cloak flapping in the wind. Behind him, something inhuman. No, not thing. THINGS!
The horseman, a Gray Wolf by the looks of it, barrels past Njord and slams hard into the wagon. Limbs, bodies, animals and supplies fly everywhere. There's nothing for it.
Spinning on his heel, Njord brandishes his red iron blade, howling with nordic rage as he prepares to meet the horrific shapes baring down on him!
Njord Freyr
But I wasn't on the path! If you recall I failed my movement roll and was no where near where I wanted to be. Still, I bow to your wisdom. Perhaps Njord made it further than he thought.
As Njord reaches the crest of the hill, the horseman barrels into view with a howl of fear!
1d100 ⇒ 30 vs 31 (AGIL): SUCCESS! And barely too!
The Norseman's cat like reflexes spare his life. He leaps aside JUST IN TIME, rolling to his feet like a panther, his mighty blade ready for any oncoming threat!
Dagon Waters
Albrecht: You fail to get out of the way of the charging horse and infact get RUN OVER. It is hard to tell where the hooves hit you as your entire body is in sudden horrible pain! The mountain of flesh slams into you and your last sight before everything going black is a swirling scene of color and the palpable smell of the horse's sweaty fear.
Caspar: Same fate: roll Agil save. If sucess you get out of the way. If not roll a save vs. Toughness. No success means blackness.
NOTE: you can check on you comrades that are down if you wish. At the moment though, it looks very bad for them.
Albrecht is trampled by the runaway horse. Luckily most of you are swift enough to avoid the same fate helped by the hurried warnings of the hafling.
Then the thunderous imapct of against the wagon as two massive forces refuse to give way and explode in a shower of blood, tools, wood and comrades. Though the wagon is not completely destroyed, it is severely damaged and lays on its side missing a wheel and looking more like a pile of rubble.
The rider is thrown into the air to ungracefully fly like a ragged imperial rocket and lands in a heap of clothing and blood into the snow...yards away.
The tons of flesh that is the horse and Donkey are launched impossibly far to lay unmoving in a ditch.
As if it all could not get worse, there is a howl from where the rider appeared and you all turn to look. Cresting the hill and NOT STOPPING their gate are MUTATED Kurgen!!!
Their arms are longer than normal to resemble more of an ape than man.
Faces are distorted into wildly savage grimaces of hunger and fierce anger.
Manes or hair are all in different styles, but their tattoos are all covered as they are cakes in a white paste making them look like stage actors.
But most disturbing are the hands that are malformed into claws that are impossibly large....big enough to grab a hafling and squeeze the life blood out it with little effort.
These are "blessed" Kurgen scouts. Read Mudknuckle's spoiler and discussion thread.
There are six of them and as the crest the hill, they leap upon you.
Everyone standing gets 1 enemy except Boom and Njord who get 2
BOOOM
4d100 ⇒ (60, 38, 28, 34) = 160 vs.BS (3successes) Boom does not hesitate. There is a horredous CRACK that echoes in hills as Boom fires his blunderbuss.
4d100 ⇒ (96, 60, 39, 79) = 274 1 success! The Kurgen takes 3 wounds as it is hit in mid air and is stopped cold and thrown back as if swatted by an invisible fist....a trail of blood following it as is lands and rolls on the ground.
The 2nd Kurgan scout lands on boom and bats at him with its claws like a wild animal 6d100 ⇒ (38, 17, 71, 6, 24, 9) = 165 5 successes!!!
5d100 ⇒ (99, 23, 42, 61, 9) = 234 (4 toughness and leather apron)2 successes. 3 wounds on Boom as the mutated Kurgan rips Booms flesh as easily as a hot knife through butter.
Caspar The Red
1d100 ⇒ 87 vs 49 (agi + 10)
1d100 ⇒ 27 vs 29 (toughness)
Amidst the chaos, Caspar doesn't know where to go. His first thought is to hide underneath the wagon, but that awful halfling jumped under there first. He looked around for some kind of exit strategy and found only wasteland.
It was too late, the horse barreled into Albrecht which in turn barreled into Caspar.
Dagon Waters
Caspar: Luckily for you Caspar you did not get the full brunt of the horse but are spun like a top and you crash into the snow. 1d6 ⇒ 3 Take 1 wound.
But the worse is not over as you shake your head and look up only to see a horrible face twisted by hate and slavering from protruding tusks. 6d100 ⇒ (12, 1, 67, 31, 83, 64) = 258 3 success as a massive claw reaches for you. Roll defense
Mudknuckles
Mud rolls to his feet sling spinning in hand launching a stone with blinding speed, twords unlucky Caspars foe. Ballistic skill 40v.1d100 ⇒ 98 eeek he mutters as he looses it. Turning his head wincing for Caspar. He looks for another stone and another shot. 2nd toss. 1d100 ⇒ 98ummm cursing the god WHAT THE HELL, he mutters to himself your not a kurgan anymore fight right. 1d100 ⇒ 34 it lands with a thud he tosses a last time 1d100 ⇒ 73Ghaaa the times w/o combat has made him a bit rusty. hope he dosent kill himself or a a friend in the process of getting better.
Caspar The Red
2d100 ⇒ (21, 13) = 34 defense rolls 2 successes
Caspar dodges most of the Kurgens blows. With no where to run and hide Caspar realizes there's only one thing to do. Pulling out his sword he makes his own attacks on the mutated Kurgen.
3d100 ⇒ (2, 8, 5) = 15 attacks 3 successes if the halfling doesn't kill me this should be interesting lol
Njord Freyr
Looks like things are really hopping now! Ok, a couple quick things. Njord has the ability to work himself into a Frenzy, but being that he is relatively intelligent for his people, I'd like to say that this can only become possible once he's wounded. He'll make a Will Power check, and if he fails he'll enter Frenzy. At that time all attacks are ALL OUT ATTACKS and he cannot dodge or parry. I'd like to represent that by adding +1 to my attack roll, but reduce his defense by -1. That being said, onwards!
Battle! At long last Njord has the chance to exact his bloody revenge on the hated enemy of his people. There is little fear in the eyes of the Northman as he stands like a stone against the rising flood of mutated Kurgen fiends, howling in rage and defiance.
"Dýrð ok' Dauði!" Njord shouts (Blood and Death), his battle cry echoes across the foothills around you.
With a savage swing and a terrible riposte, Njord slams hard into two of the approaching abominations, laying about with crushing force!
5d100 ⇒ (59, 21, 76, 89, 59) = 304 vs 45 (WS): 1 SUCCESS! *gasp* This does not bode well for our champion from the north...
Overwhelmed by the sheer ferocity of multiple attackers, Njord stammers and loses footing. His swings are futile and cumbersome, the two Kurgen beasts circle and swipe, staying far out of reach of the Norseman's grim red blade.
Dagon Waters
Mudknuckles: You stones hit the Wild painted white mutated Kurgen with as much harm as they would against an elephant. However, they are not without effect as they distract the Kurgen beast to rest it's eyes on you. You had successfully avoided being directly attacked, having Boom instead get the brunt of it, but your luck has caste aside your wiles.
fumbles and all that...
The Kurgen EASILY makes the leap from Caspar to you, but not before Caspar strikes. 4d100 ⇒ (22, 52, 89, 23) = 186 2 defense successes giving the Kurgen a wound. Remember Caspar that you had taken a wound from getting hit by the horse and another from the Kurgen
A trail of blood, unnoticed, follows the Kurgen as he lands on you. 6d100 ⇒ (43, 99, 8, 71, 20, 28) = 269 4 SUCCESSES!!! Roll defense!!!
Njord: Standing your ground like a war statue you steadfastly meet the horror of both beasts attacking you.
Kurgen defense: 4d100 ⇒ (59, 24, 28, 94) = 205 2 success...easily dodging, it strikes:
6d100 ⇒ (83, 28, 66, 27, 95, 47) = 346 3 successes as its claws rake your chest
Kurgen2: 6d100 ⇒ (37, 29, 85, 35, 26, 55) = 267 5 successes!!!!! The other Kurgen lands ON YOU and frantically smashes its HUGE fists into your face.
KRAK
"DOOOOOOONNNNNNNKKKKKKKAAAAAAYYYYYYYYY!!!!" Screams Krak as he swings madly at the rushing mutant Kurgan.
5d100 ⇒ (85, 36, 95, 25, 5) = 246 3 successes.
4d100 ⇒ (94, 79, 62, 1) = 236 1 success. Krak's pick buries itself in the Kurgen's neck. A dark stream of blood arcs into the sky as Krak pulls the pick out.
BOOOM
"Eeeerrrrrrahhhhhhhh"Boom pulls a small pistol from under his tunic and at point blank range fires into the Kurgen.
5d100 ⇒ (26, 55, 96, 1, 5) = 183 +1 for point blank. 3 successes.
4d100 ⇒ (38, 54, 81, 87) = 2601 success. The Kurgen is thrown back momentarily, but stands looking dumbfounded at the smoking charred flesh on his chest.
Njord Freyr
Oh boy, this isn't looking good for Njord! Ulric, aid me!
Claws, teeth, death. Njord knows only those three things as he lays about frantically, trying to stave off his doom!
Since I have armor in "some" locations, I'll make a fortune roll to see if it will add +1 defense in this situation or not:
1d100 ⇒ 26 vs 30 (FATE POINTS 3 x 10): SUCCESS! This will add +1 to my defense dice roll for the duration of this fight. Thank ye Gods!
Now rolling Njord's defense:
5d100 ⇒ (4, 86, 3, 15, 76) = 184 vs 40 (TOUGHNESS): 3 SUCCESSES! This will negate the strikes of the first Kurgen. As the second mutant closes in, Njord shifts his stance to defend:
Njord is a valiant and savage fighter. Standing his ground he meets the first Kurgan head on, the Northman's slashing blade against tooth and nail. Locked in a bloody struggle, Njord is just fast enough to disengage...
The other Kurgen lands on Njord, frantically smashing its HUGE fists into his face.
5d100 ⇒ (8, 36, 68, 27, 83) = 222 vs 40 (TOUGHNESS): 3 SUCCESSES! This is a much better scenario than the last one! Njord has lost 2 health and has 2 remaining.
Njord deflects most of the strikes, but sharp claws tear into his chest leaving brutal red ribbons across the Highlanders rippling chest!
Caspar The Red
Courage comes over Caspar as he manages to draw blood on the Kurgen. What seemed like more devastating attacks turned out to be only scratches on the monstrocity. The Kurgen began chasing after the halfling, and as much as Caspar didn't like the halfling sometimes, Caspar desperately wanted to prove his worth as a soldier. He charged the distracted Kurgen.
3d100 ⇒ (34, 25, 76) = 135 1 success
Dagon Waters
Caspar:4d100 ⇒ (83, 93, 11, 93) = 280 1 success. You charge the Kurgen, but the moment your about to strike, like lightning, it WHIPS AROUND TO FACE YOU!! You face is blasted by spit, flem and a horrifc order as the Kurgen/beast howls inches from you. "RRRRRRRAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRR!!!!!"
Lutke: dazed and "frozen" by the sudden violence that errupts like an angry volcanoe, you fail to see one of the Kurgen scouts leap at you6d100 ⇒ (83, 52, 98, 96, 48, 91) = 468: 2 successes. Roll defense.
Gretta: seemingly ignored by the swirling maelstorm of battle, she picks herself him from an ungraceful position and her eyes dart about frantically looking for a solution. Everyone is up and fighting, but Albrecht! "Oh no!" She races over to the prone wizard and turns him over checking him for signs of life.
Albrecht: Make a WP check to wake up. If yes, go ahead and act, but take 1/2 1d6 wounds.
Njord Freyr
Ok, edited! Phew, thanks for that. Was looking pretty grim for Njord.
A red haze of fury begins to rise within Njord, the fury of Fenrir, the primal God of the Norse:
1d100 ⇒ 25 vs 32 (WILL POWER): SUCCESS!
Shaking his head from side to side, Njord maintains his composure. Now is not the time to give into the call of the wolf! The last time that happened...
Njord shakes off the terrible memory and presses his attack!
5d100 ⇒ (36, 11, 98, 24, 28) = 197 vs 45 (WS): 4 HITS!
Njord focuses his attention to the larger of the two Kurgen in the hopes that disabling the fiend will instill fear into his smaller counterpart.
Dagon Waters
Njord: 4d100 ⇒ (33, 12, 91, 18) = 154 2 successes. the creature takes 2 wounds You run your sword through the beast grappling you and it gets thrust back. You stumble backwards, but you quickly regain your fighting stance and are glad for the breathing room.
UPDATE TO RULES!!! Wounds (hit points) are now calculated as 3/by Wounds + "left over". See discussion thread.
Krak:Blood spews from the creature's neck, but it lunges forward 6d100 ⇒ (14, 12, 99, 24, 46, 88) = 283 4 successes as its claws reach out and cover your face and neck!
Boom: It doesnt take long before the shot Kurgen's ferocity returns, Howls "AAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWW!!!!" and attacks!6d100 ⇒ (2, 84, 56, 12, 93, 15) = 262 4 successes
Mudknuckles
2d100 ⇒ (51, 15) = 66 eeek 1 success 3 damage drops the little Halfling to the ground. As the brute spins to greet poor Caspar Mud grabs his leg and attempts to bite him as viciously as possible perhaps the distraction will assist Caspar 1d100 ⇒ 83. Mud's definately not a warrior.
Dagon Waters
Guys, read the new rules.
MUD: You have 8 wounds. Thats W/3 = 2 with 2 left over.
That gives you 4 wounds in total. You've taken 3 dmg. You still have 1 wound.
The Kurgen grabs your leg and lifts you off of the ground. You spin around within its grip and look at it EYE LEVEL as it lifts you to inspect its prize with an amused expression upon its otherwise insanely fierce Grimace!
Albrecht Baer
1d100 ⇒ 17 vs 55 Success!
Albrecht rolls onto his back thoroughly confused. He remembers...Snow... Cold... That's something he doesn't feel often. He begins to sit and the world shakes, his head spins. A smear of blood running down his face from the gash along the side of his head. A rock, he must have hit a rock. Ears ringing he has yet to come to his senses as he stands and sees the battle blooming around him. Albrecht shakes his head clear and a just sub audible pop is felt more than heard as if a hot gust of air knocked the cobwebs loose from his brain.
Mudknuckles
Mud barks a few times at the upside down Kurgan monster flailing about in it's grasp muttering in the few kurgan commands he knows from the slave pits, then tears at the beasts eyes with his long arms in hopes of being let go. 1d100 ⇒ 42failure, proceeds to bark and flail wildly to no avail.
Njord Freyr
Read updates to the rules and added the changes to the rules compendium. The new rules don't change anything for Njord, however. Njord has 12 wounds divided by 3 giving him 4 Health. He took 2 wounds so now has 2 health remaining after his first tangle with the Kurgen.
I'd update Njord's action, but I think at the moment he's 'frozen' awaiting the attacks of the two Kurgen mutants. After I see the results of their rolls, I'll respond and the battle will continue!
KRAK
6d100 ⇒ (19, 19, 30, 81, 28, 1) = 178: 5t +1 leather apron. 5 successes! Krak easily blocks the Kurgen with his pick and bring down the business end once more..
5d100 ⇒ (68, 65, 10, 71, 43) = 257 3 successes
4d100 ⇒ (77, 13, 59, 100) = 249 1 success Haven taken 2 wounds already 2 more wounds kills it as Krak's pick buries itself in the creature's forehead.
BOOOM
5d100 ⇒ (32, 35, 37, 46, 44) = 194 3 successes. Giving him another wound bringing that up to 4. Boom has 1 wnd left.
pulling a dagger from his belt, Boom frantically swings in a wide arc...
4d100 ⇒ (44, 41, 79, 60) = 224 1 success.
4d100 ⇒ (75, 15, 68, 56) = 214 1 success, the Kurgen jumps back out of the way of the wild blade.
Dagon Waters
Mud: 4d100 ⇒ (69, 2, 71, 40) = 182 The Kurgen completely ignores Caspar's swing as it side steps it easily, but upon hearing your Kurgen it stops and brings you closer to its face with an almost amused look.
Caspar: you may attack again if you wish
Njord: The 2 Kurgen lunge at you again.
Kurgen 1 6d100 ⇒ (99, 32, 31, 57, 61, 78) = 358 2 successes
Kurgen 2 6d100 ⇒ (89, 33, 59, 87, 79, 15) = 362 2 successes
Gretta: 4d100 ⇒ (98, 25, 8, 17) = 148 3 successes!! CLANG!!! as Gretta hit the Kurgen on Boom from behind with a heavy iron pan.
4d100 ⇒ (12, 90, 15, 19) = 136 unfortunately it bounces off the Kurgen's thick skull without effect, but it does turn swiftly to face her....
6d100 ⇒ (94, 8, 61, 1, 68, 66) = 298 2sucesses
3d100 ⇒ (82, 4, 12) = 98 2 sucesses, but Gretta is faster than she looks and ducks under the Kurgan's reach.
Njord Freyr
Go Gretta Go! And on that note...
Njord is a whirlwind of death, spinning from one white skinned adversary to the next, his rust red iron blade splitting the air with a mighty SWOOOOOSH! with each barbaric swing!
But then the inevitable counter attack comes and the Norseman is forced back, kicking up snow into the eyes of the Kurgen mutants to blind them, blocking wildly, and rolling dangerously in an attempt to avoid their flailing claws.
I still think it seems a bit powerful for me to be able to fully defend against both Kurgen with 5 dice, but that's discussion for another time. Since you ruled it a possibility for this conflict, I'll continue with that line of logic:
5d100 ⇒ (95, 62, 24, 29, 49) = 259 vs 40 (TOUGH): 2 SUCCESSES! *KLANG!* Njord brings his massive blade around, deflecting the first attacks. Moments later the second Kurgen leaps into view!
5d100 ⇒ (82, 69, 9, 70, 68) = 298 vs 40 (TOUGH): 1 SUCCESS! There is a grisly slashing sound as wicked claws tear through Njord's arm. Long raking razor red claw marks begin to bleed terribly, red ribbons of blood leaking into the white snow! Njord has taken one more wound. He has one remaining.
And here comes the inevitable Will Power check vs Frenzy:
1d100 ⇒ 71 vs 32 (WP): FAILED! The pain, hate and anger is too great. The ferocious wolf demon that lives inside Njord explodes outwards in a howl of blood curdling rage! A red sheen of pulsing aggression slides over Njord's eyes like a veil. Fenrir, the Norseman's more savage version of Ulric, takes hold of Njord. It is a terrible sight to behold...
Njord now has +1 to his attack dice but -1 to his defense. He also has +10 Will Power (vs Fear/Terror). Unfortunately, he also no longer recognizes friend from foe, so it might be unwise to step into his line of sight...
Njord Freyr
Gripping his massive two handed blade, his knuckles white to the bone, Njord slams Sverð Sigr down hard into the skull of the wounded Kurgan, anxious to taste brain and blood!
So again, this attack is directed towards the Kurgan Njord had slashed and disabled earlier, hoping to finish it off. Also keep in mind Njord now has 6 attack dice. 4 from WS, 1 from his weapon and 1 from frenzy:
6d100 ⇒ (59, 37, 32, 90, 95, 38) = 351 vs 45 (WS): 3 HITS! SLAAAAAAAASH! The Blade of Victory tears down as Njord lets out a primal howl of murderous rage!
Albrecht Baer
Albrecht has come to his senses, finally. Looking around he spots Njord on the defense fighting off two Kurgen. Placing his left palm to his forehead and stretching out his right he speaks quick works of power!
1d10 ⇒ 3
The flame wraps itself about his wrist and meekly sputters to the ground. Perhaps Albrecht brain is more rattled than he had expected!
Does the stone react at all to the Winds of Magic blowing?
Dagon Waters
1 person marked this as a favorite.
Albrecht: yes, give yourself +1 to magic when you use it, but every time you do so roll 1d10 corruption. Go ahead and try it with another attack
Njord: 4d100 ⇒ (68, 94, 94, 76) = 332 NO SUCCESSES! You frenzy powers the blade so much so that the Kurgen is cut neatly in half. Blood sprays forth like a thrown bucket of water and splashes everyone near you.
Njord Freyr
1 person marked this as a favorite.
Time seems to slow as the first Kurgan splits in half, his torso hangs in the air spraying blood and viscera everywhere! Mutated organs pump and scream (!) as Njord's red steel blade severs vital bone and tissue!
The garroting cut is so fierce, Njord spins completely around (narrowly avoiding a wicked slash), and buries the blade into the head of the flying torso on his second bloody rotation. Blade, body and flesh slam into the snow, a volcano of human debris!
Ah yes, carnage!
KRAK
Krak looks madly about after finishing his opponent and sees a very wounded Boom desperately fighting off the Kurgen beast with a dagger!
NAH YA DONT YA RIGHT BASTARD!! charging the Kurgen, Krak swings his pick 5d100 ⇒ (64, 66, 54, 88, 17) = 289 1 success
but the creature is fast 4d100 ⇒ (52, 68, 17, 70) = 207 1 success and leaps out of the way and then just as quick...leaps at Krak 6d100 ⇒ (58, 27, 34, 48, 6, 56) = 229 6 SUCCESSES!!! uh oh!
6d100 ⇒ (27, 17, 79, 43, 60, 9) = 235 4 success, thankfully Krak is made of sturdier stuff and his leather apron serves him will. Still he takes 2 wounds as the Kurgens claws rake his exposed neck.
Caspar The Red
Caspar continues "assualting" the Kurgen holding Mud in the air.
3d100 ⇒ (61, 5, 56) = 122 1 success
The Kurgen remembers the last fight that was this tough. He had eaten 2 halflings at generally the same time. This was going to be worth the pay out for the Kurgen's stomach he just knew it!
Albrecht Baer
Albrecht, dismayed at the performance of his quick-cast shoots his right hand into his pouch and digs around for a moment. His eyes alight as he finds what he is looking for. Placing his right arm directly outward towards the Kurgen looming over Njord. He opens his palm and reveals.... A match, the reagent necessary for Fires of U'zuu!
1d10 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8
The air gusts out of his sleeve and the match catches alight shooting a gout of death into the kurgen's back!
1d10 ⇒ 1 damage!

sorry was sick yesterday
Mud: Roll your fellowship
Caspar: 4d100 ⇒ (85, 21, 43, 7) = 156 2 sucesses. You throw all your effort into the swing exclaiming a grunt..."eeeeeuuuuhhh....." but your swing simply cuts off some unneeded back hair. Still holding the hafling, the Kurgen swipes its claw behind it without even looking as it to swat away a fly. 4d100 ⇒ (34, 19, 54, 28) = 135 -2 dice for for swinging blindly. 3 successes!!
Njord: "RRRAAAAAAARRRRRRWWWWWW!!!!" Filled with blood lust at seeing it's companion cut in half, the remaining Kurgen launches itself at you swinging widely.6d100 ⇒ (33, 59, 56, 51, 81, 71) = 351: 4 succeses.
Albrecht: 4d100 ⇒ (65, 97, 85, 70) = 317 NO SUCCESSES! Your flame hits the Kurgen even as it rushes Njord and lights its back in flames!!! But even on fire it seems to ignore the pain...intent on killing it's hated enemy. 1 wnd on the Kurgen
Njord: I cant remember if this one is wounded already...
Gretta: Swings her castiron frying pan at the Kurgen attacking Boom 4d100 ⇒ (52, 21, 90, 78) = 241 1 success. 4d100 ⇒ (27, 21, 2, 89) = 139...but the Kurgen laughs as it easily blocks her swing with its arm and chuckles.
6d100 ⇒ (52, 81, 18, 89, 93, 81) = 414...and backhands Gretta. 3d100 ⇒ (47, 1, 64) = 112, but again Gretta leaps out of its way.
