Yes. Everyone will act this round. Next round the pit will return to normal
Ground height.

Edmund takes a 5-foot step back away from the edge of the pit. As softly as possible he casts a ghost sound cantrip to create the illusory sound of boot leather scraping against the floor and a slight chain rattle in the space between BG4 and BGC2. DC 18 to disbelieve that a spiked chain is about to wrap around their throats (and hoping that Gray wasn’t dumb enough to actually move there).

Next round he’s going to recast the pit under the same 4 guys, but I don’t want to lose invisibility yet in case he can’t get all four this time.

Ziera reacts to the magic missiles this round as though they have killed her, and groans loudly, sinking down behind the bar, not having to pretend that she is in a lot of pain. She then casts Cure Moderate Wounds on herself as quietly as possible, hoping that the magic user will turn his attention elsewhere while she is healing up, and then maybe she can finish him when she is able to stand again.

Cure Mod: 2d8 + 5 ⇒ (8, 1) + 5 = 14

Was down to 5 hit points, now up to 19.

Tarken growls at Ziera falling and hurries over, jumping over the bar and landing next to her.

Vince, his man down, looks around at the area. "Dante, behind you." VInce himself runs over at the caster.

Dante lingers long enough for Adrien to attack the man they are flanking, then moving over to the man Tarken was fighting. He accidentally bumps into the invisible Gray.

GMPC Attacks:

Vince: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16
Vince: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9

Dante: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (7) + 12 = 19

Adrien: 1d20 + 10 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 10 + 2 = 14

All of the movement causes some very poor attacks.

Dante frowns as he sees the heads of the men in the pit moving up. "Alden, we need you and Glifdore, NOW. Payk can protect himself."

Alden hurries in and attacks the man next to Dante, though he misses. Glifdore enters the area as well, his earthbreather banging against his buckler in a steady beat.

All allies within 30 feet of Gifdore get +2 Str, +2 Con, and +2 Will saves and -1 AC. Taking the effect is optional. Thats Edmund, Gray (next turn, his init is ahead of Glifdore) and most of the GMPCS right now.

Alden Attack:

Alden - BG5: 1d20 + 9 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 9 + 1 = 16

Gray's turn and then the bad guys.

Again calling upon the dark powers of his God, Gray makes his way over to the caster causing trouble for the group, uncoiling the spiked chain before whipping it forward at the much less armored man, his form suddenly appearing, sadistic grin on his face.

Spiked Chain, DF, Bane, Invisibility Bonus, Glifdore bonus: 1d20 + 9 + 1 + 2 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 9 + 1 + 2 + 2 + 1 = 17This has not been a good rolling sequence for me...

Move, Bane, then attack!
Bane 3/5

flat-footed won’t matter, steel shields and full plate still cover the attack. Bad guys turn coming later when I’m at a computer.

The caster is wearing full plate?

oh, right. Was looking on the map and saw you next to BG4. Caster has mage armor up but you still manage to overcome it.

Gray’s attack finishes off the caster.

BG Attacks:

BG4 - Gray: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (8) + 8 = 16

BG5 - Alden: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (8) + 8 = 16

BG8 - Adrien: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (8) + 8 = 16

Ummmm, thats a weird set of rolls.

All of the bad guys miss.

The four bad guys in the pit slowly reach the floor ready, and they do not look happy.

Round 7

Ziera stands up and, seeing that Gray has dispatched her former adversary, she shoots at the magic user that used to be in the pit instead.

Gray called out to Vince. "Here, help me take care of this one while they're stuck in that pit again! Then we can rain down devastation on those inside!" The inquisitor sounded as though he relished the thought, stepping to the side to more directly face BG4 as he waited for Vince to set up a flank with him (or not). Regardless, after Vince either joins him or moves off somewhere else, the inquisitor struck at the plate-wearing man.

falling damage BG2: 2d6 ⇒ (1, 3) = 4
falling damage BG3: 2d6 ⇒ (4, 5) = 9
falling damage BGC1: 2d6 ⇒ (5, 2) = 7

The four men fall in the pit again.

Glifdore moves toward the pit. He continues his song of rage.

Vince does indeed step up next to the BG4 and provide flanking.

GMPC Attacks:

Vince: 1d20 + 9 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 9 + 2 = 15 Miss

Alden BG5: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4

Dante and Alden both score hits on BG5, though he remains standing.

Ziera scores a hit against the caster before he disappears in the pit again. Gray is unable to hit the attacker in front of him, even with VInce's help.

Tarken casts Cure Moderate Wounds on Ziera.

Healing -Ziera: 2d8 + 5 ⇒ (1, 6) + 5 = 12

Ziera suddenly feels a lot better, and she lets out a grateful sigh, looks around and says Thank you, Tarken.

She then climbs on top of the bar in order to get enough height so that she can see into the pit and shoot the people in it.

Not sure if that takes the full round or only my move action. Posting an attack below, but feel free to ignore it if climbing onto the bar takes the whole round.

Attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 14 (might not matter since it is a low roll anyway)
Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5

Ziera, that's fine. I'm treating the bar like difficult terrain. Forgot to mention that Alden's 2nd attack last time missed badly and he smashed his arm into the wall, dazing him for this round.

GMPC Attacks:

Vince: 1d20 + 7 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 7 + 2 + 1 = 25 Hit

Dante self damage: 1d6 ⇒ 4

Adrien and Vince get a few good slashes in, with Adrien finally finishing off the guy he had been matched against. Dante continues his terrible fight by swinging wide of the enemy and slashing himself across the leg.

Edmund and Ziera try to terrorize the men in the pit but are unsuccessful, though it is a little bit more crowded down there.

Frustrated by his relative ineffectiveness, the inquisitor foregoes his tactical manner and just swung wildly with the chain. The poor bad guy, beset on all sides, didn't even know what hit him as the chain wrapped around his head, pressing in on the exposed parts of his face and head.

Gray takes down the last man on the main level.

Edmund takes down the caster in the pit. Ziera scores a hit on another attacker in the pit.

Crashes emanate from outside the room. The battle has been going for some time, but only now can The Avenger hear it.

I don't think I really get a turn here, so moving and attacking will have to wait until next round...when the combat is probably over.
