Can we spend points for extra turn?

Jennix - I'm not sure how being k/o interacts with mythic turns. I've always thought if you had a turn while you were k/o'd you missed the next one... but I guess you could have held, so, what the hell.
Round 3: Jennix normal

Morrack, your mythic turn is coming up after Jennix

Male Dwarf Inquisitor 11 / Champion Tier 5

Morrack will forego his Mythic Turn this round. Still staggered, after all.

AC21/T15/FF17|CMD28||HP41[64]F+7|R+12|W+6||Int.+4|Percept.+16|SenMot.+5 Human Fighter(Lorewarden) 4 / Bard (Archaeologist) 3 / Ninja! 4

Jennix will cast invisibility and step to K49

Jennix: that's 60ft

Male Human Barbarian (Invulnerable Rager, Urban Barbarian) 10 Fighter (Unbreakable) 1

Isn't it like 3 squares?

AC21/T15/FF17|CMD28||HP41[64]F+7|R+12|W+6||Int.+4|Percept.+16|SenMot.+5 Human Fighter(Lorewarden) 4 / Bard (Archaeologist) 3 / Ninja! 4

Not sure I follow on the distance

Sorry - read it as K39 for some reason. Thought you were running up to help Rek and Morrack.

AC21/T15/FF17|CMD28||HP41[64]F+7|R+12|W+6||Int.+4|Percept.+16|SenMot.+5 Human Fighter(Lorewarden) 4 / Bard (Archaeologist) 3 / Ninja! 4

Not yet, can't do much on 9 HP

As the smoke dissipates it reveals the Horseman charging down the "Empty" road towards Mitsy. With unerring Blinfsight accuracy his charge ends in a whirling flail.
hit: 1d20 + 23 ⇒ (8) + 23 = 31 damage: 1d8 + 13 + 1d6 ⇒ (4) + 13 + (2) = 19

Seamus dismounted to help Jennix, and kept the wand as I recall.
next up: Mitsy, then Seamus' mythic turn

Male Halfling Summoner 11/Hierphant 5

Mitsy will delay her turn until after Seamus's mythic turn.

Seamus reaches up and touches Mitsy while muttering some words under his breath, and Mitsy's already large head seems to grow, and her mouth widens.

Seamus casts Greater Evolution Surge on Mitsy, granting her bite attack both the grab and swallow whole abilities. 2/3 4th level spells remain.

Seamus then calls out to Mitsy, encouraging her, and she prepares to attack.

Seamus uses a Mythic point as a swift action to use Beast Fury, allowing Mitsy to, as an immediate action, move up to her speed (which she will not do), and use one of her natural attacks. This attack is treated as Epic for overcoming DR. 10/14 mythic points remain.

Mitsy growls, reaches her head down and snaps at the horseman.

Bite attack 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (8) + 20 = 28 to hit.
If successful, 2d6 + 11 ⇒ (2, 2) + 11 = 15 damage, plus a grab attempt.
1d20 + 24 ⇒ (4) + 24 = 28 CMB to grab.

Mitsy's bite slams home on the Dullahan's neck, but he pulls away, fragments of armour and rotting flesh left in Mitsy's mouth.

Mitsy steps forward once more, spitting the leftovers from her bite back on Dullahan. She quickly brandishes her weapons, dropping them through the air towards her target.

Full attack from Mitsy.

Greatsword 1 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (9) + 17 = 26 to hit; If successful, 4d6 + 17 ⇒ (1, 5, 6, 4) + 17 = 33 damage and 1d6 ⇒ 2 fire damage.

Earthbreaker 1 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (10) + 17 = 27 to hit; If successful, 4d6 + 17 ⇒ (5, 2, 3, 2) + 17 = 29 damage and 1d6 ⇒ 5 cold damage.

Greatsword 2 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (20) + 12 = 32 to hit; If successful, 4d6 + 17 ⇒ (5, 5, 4, 6) + 17 = 37 damage and 1d6 ⇒ 5 fire damage.
Crit confirmation 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (5) + 12 = 17, extra 4d6 ⇒ (2, 6, 2, 1) = 11 damage if successful.

Earthbreaker 2 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (9) + 12 = 21 to hit; If successful, 4d6 + 17 ⇒ (5, 5, 3, 5) + 17 = 35 damage and 1d6 ⇒ 3 fire damage.

Bite 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (15) + 15 = 30 to hit; If successful, 2d6 + 11 ⇒ (6, 3) + 11 = 20 damage and 1d20 + 24 ⇒ (9) + 24 = 33 CMB to grab.

Earthbreaker1, Greatsword2 (not crit) and Bite hit. 67 damage all up! The Dullahan staggers back as attack after attack hits him.

Rek - you're up

Male Human Barbarian (Invulnerable Rager, Urban Barbarian) 10 Fighter (Unbreakable) 1

With a primal scream, Reknarok closes the distance between himself and Dullahan, the last feet travelled turning into a leap as, akin to a beast, the barbarian pounces upon the foul creature.

Will be using the pounce ability to be able to reach him and do a full attack, flanking with Mitsy- I believe he is entitled to an AoO - I will use absorb blow on it

Attack 1: 1d20 + 21 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 21 + 2 = 29
Damage if it hits: 1d12 + 30 ⇒ (6) + 30 = 36

Attack 2: 1d20 + 21 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 21 + 2 = 33
Damage if it hits: 1d12 + 30 ⇒ (7) + 30 = 37

Attack 3: 1d20 + 11 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 11 + 2 = 32
Damage if it hits: 1d12 + 30 ⇒ (10) + 30 = 40

AoO: 1d20 + 23 ⇒ (8) + 23 = 31 damage: 1d8 + 13 + 1d6 ⇒ (2) + 13 + (2) = 17
is one of the attacks a bite? Probably doesn't matter - over 80 points *after* DR means he's down.
Combat Over

Male Human Barbarian (Invulnerable Rager, Urban Barbarian) 10 Fighter (Unbreakable) 1

MUAH!!

A bite? No, why do you ask?

@Rek: You have DR/Epic. That means your natural attacks bypass DR/Epic.

As Reknarok smashes the body into pieces others look around - but no threats are forthcoming.

The fields leading up to the bridge may have been pretty once, but now dark ugly lumps lay strewn about like little hillocks. The ground is scorched, and torn.

Three hours ride from here to Caliphas - but with your horses bolting over the hill, and two of you badly injured, it is likely to be a much slower trip.

Male Human Barbarian (Invulnerable Rager, Urban Barbarian) 10 Fighter (Unbreakable) 1

Settling down from his rage, Reknarok heavily ambles over to check on his companions - Are you all ok? I am guessing we need to start taking particular care with our tactics... Overwhelming numbers like those back there can pose us difficulties - he offers with a deep breath.

Seamus and Mitsy, I want to offer you my apologies, my tactical mistake allowed that bastard rider to charge you, I should have placed myself between him and yourself - it will not happen again my friends.

Morrack my brother, we need to stand side by side - united we prove to be a frontline that NEEDS to be contended with - alone we are vulnerable to being picked off and outnumbered - he comments with a hand on the dwarf shoulders, leaning on him somewhat as he himself recovers.

And to you arcane fellas, as soon as I can spare the change I will make sure to offer you one of those wonderful size increase magic things you wield about - if my size, or Morracks' increases they will be hard pressed to pass us by, and if they wish to circle us, they will pay dearly for it...

Doesn't matter!! We have prevailed and I am happy to see you all safe! He cheers.

Now.... Lets take a look at what this bastard here was carrying around with him shall we? - he adds as he moves on over to the fallen rider rubbing his hands together.

AC21/T15/FF17|CMD28||HP41[64]F+7|R+12|W+6||Int.+4|Percept.+16|SenMot.+5 Human Fighter(Lorewarden) 4 / Bard (Archaeologist) 3 / Ninja! 4

Jennix moves to inspect the bodies, calling Shadow Wing to his shoulder.

Perception: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (18) + 12 = 30

He also casts Detect Magic

Male Dwarf Inquisitor 11 / Champion Tier 5

"Uhhhh...yeah, that was a bad idea, running ahead. I got a little carried away, I guess. Won't happen again, not to worry."

Do we want to heal up, or wait for the time to allow for recuperation to take place.

quick note: wasn't charging Mitsy so much as Jennix. Morrack, then Reknarok, then Mitsy got in the way.

@Jennix:
Gear wise, can I get 5 spellcraft rolls please.

Seamus, my friend, do you think you could use this wand on Morrack and myself a couple times each?

@Jennix:

So determine properties of an item of CL 2, 12, 2, 9 and 6.

You find the following items of interest:
Masterwork full plate
Jennix:
Magical

Masterwork flail
Jennix:
+1

A strange amulet or medallion, silver with a carved skull that is set with strange grey stones for eyes.
Jennix:
Magical

another amulet of
Jennix:
Amulet of natural armour +1

A blackened silver ring, the pattern all but lost under the tarnish
Jennix:
Ring of protection +1

There are also several freshly harvested heads where the Nightmare fell.

Male Halfling Summoner 11/Hierphant 5

Seamus reaches the wand out to Jennix.

"Certainly, Jennix. It is yours afterall. Just glad to help."

Turning towards Reknarok, Seamus began again.

"Worry not, my friend. Mitsy can take a punch or two. I have no problem staying behind and defending our dear wizard here. And if you stay near me before you rage, I'll make you nice and large as you wish."

Male Dwarf Inquisitor 11 / Champion Tier 5

"Yes, being invisible would most likely help as well. I can cast heroism a few more times as well, which will help with combat. Should I heal via magic, or are we going to take the time to rest up?"

AC21/T15/FF17|CMD28||HP41[64]F+7|R+12|W+6||Int.+4|Percept.+16|SenMot.+5 Human Fighter(Lorewarden) 4 / Bard (Archaeologist) 3 / Ninja! 4

Where do we stand? @Seamus, I was suggesting that you use the wand of CMW on Morrack and I, since you have Itemcraft

Quick run down of items we retrieved.
Masterwork Full Plate- Magical(thats all I know right now)
Masterwork Flail- +1(anyone?)
Amulet with carved skull- Magical(thats all I know right now)
Other Amulet- Amulet of Natural Armor +1 (Misty?)
Ring- Ring of Protection +1 (Anyone?)

Male Human Barbarian (Invulnerable Rager, Urban Barbarian) 10 Fighter (Unbreakable) 1

Reknarok would be interested in the Amulet of Natural Armor, but it would be helpful to identify the remaining items. How can we do it?

AC21/T15/FF17|CMD28||HP41[64]F+7|R+12|W+6||Int.+4|Percept.+16|SenMot.+5 Human Fighter(Lorewarden) 4 / Bard (Archaeologist) 3 / Ninja! 4

Have to wait a day

Male Dwarf Inquisitor 11 / Champion Tier 5

"I have a wand of cure light wounds, as well. With your trick, that would probably only deplete about half to three-quarters of it, if necessary. Or we could just wait and rest up for a bit. Either way is fine by me, but the night is coming."

Down 124 HP effectively. With each charge doing between 6-13, that averages to 8.5/charge, so 15-20 shots from the CLW wand should top me off. Not sure if anyone else took damage, though.

AC21/T15/FF17|CMD28||HP41[64]F+7|R+12|W+6||Int.+4|Percept.+16|SenMot.+5 Human Fighter(Lorewarden) 4 / Bard (Archaeologist) 3 / Ninja! 4

Jennix is at 9 of 58

Male Dwarf Inquisitor 11 / Champion Tier 5

So, yeah, hit us up with that sweet, sweet curing wand, brothah!

Male Human Barbarian (Invulnerable Rager, Urban Barbarian) 10 Fighter (Unbreakable) 1

After the rage subsides, Reknarok is at 97/127

AC21/T15/FF17|CMD28||HP41[64]F+7|R+12|W+6||Int.+4|Percept.+16|SenMot.+5 Human Fighter(Lorewarden) 4 / Bard (Archaeologist) 3 / Ninja! 4

We're all low enough, let's just use CMW wand ( 49/50 ), when Seamus comes on.

Male Human Barbarian (Invulnerable Rager, Urban Barbarian) 10 Fighter (Unbreakable) 1

So......

Male Halfling Summoner 11/Hierphant 5

Sorry about that guys. With my Use Magic Device bonus, it won't ever fail, so you can all roll yourselves based on how many times you need it. Each cures 1d8+4. Also, Mitsy also has an Amulet of NA, so it's Rek's if he wants it.

"Hand that wand over to me, and I'll get all of you healed back up. I'll need to help Mitsy out too, but she takes a different spell."

Male Dwarf Inquisitor 11 / Champion Tier 5

11d8 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12

Male Human Barbarian (Invulnerable Rager, Urban Barbarian) 10 Fighter (Unbreakable) 1

Well... If it is like that...

1d8 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10
1d8 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11
1d8 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12

Total: 32 HP, 3 charges

Reknarok topped and ready to go ;)

I'm guessing you guys used Morrack's wand....because Jennix has a wand of Cure Mod. Wounds.

2d8 + 4 ⇒ (1, 7) + 4 = 12
2d8 + 4 ⇒ (3, 7) + 4 = 14
2d8 + 4 ⇒ (1, 2) + 4 = 7
2d8 + 4 ⇒ (4, 1) + 4 = 9
2d8 + 4 ⇒ (1, 4) + 4 = 9

6/50 charges

Theoretically someone else with trained spellcraft and detect magic could have a go at the ones Jennix wasn't sure of... Theoretically Jennix could spend mythic points to boost the failed rolls, but that seems a huge waste! Jennix - are you getting Seamus to wand you?

AC21/T15/FF17|CMD28||HP41[64]F+7|R+12|W+6||Int.+4|Percept.+16|SenMot.+5 Human Fighter(Lorewarden) 4 / Bard (Archaeologist) 3 / Ninja! 4

Yep, already done.

Can I take a crack at the staff, before we move on?

Spellcraft: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (20) + 15 = 35

Ooh, I hope you say yes.

@Jennix:
DC35... you just made it!
Raven's Head
... though what the Whispering Way wants with it is hard to say. More information on that would require a visit to a good library. Caliphas' Order of the Palatine Eye (a masonic like order that you've worked with before - and have two letters of recommendation from members) is probably your best bet.

AC21/T15/FF17|CMD28||HP41[64]F+7|R+12|W+6||Int.+4|Percept.+16|SenMot.+5 Human Fighter(Lorewarden) 4 / Bard (Archaeologist) 3 / Ninja! 4

GM:
So...that means I know everything in the Raven's Head entry, but not what the Whispering Way wants with it. Also that no one in our party can use it to it's full potential.

@Jennix:
Yeah - it is an artifact level cleric's weapon. That said it is still pretty good for Morrack, Rek or MItsy.
