Game Master Daynen

An isolated mountain town braves the cold in order to reach for the sky. Will they get off the ground, or will the lingering winter claim them all?

Sorry I haven't posted, I've been waiting for others to move in so I can respond in a witty-ish fashion. I've been swamped with midterms so I'm getting through that as well. I won't be the one to hold us up though.

male human...sort of.

I've also been a bit mentally drained of late; apparently the only two classes left are those that should NEVER be taken concurrently. Now I know why...in any case, I plan to move us along shortly; sorry for the delays while I sort things out.

I shall post tomorrow .

If Edric doesn't see what is going on.... We are all screwed. Lol

It seems like it has been taking progressively longer for people to post. Which is not necessarily a bad thing, just an observation.

Will we ever see the result of the arm wrestle? Will Siegfried ever find true love? Tune in for the next season of "Mountainwalk"!

Lol

Will the Bet for the cake ever be decided? Will the Tavern go up in flames, for no reason What-so-ever? or more importantly, will The Party figure out who slipped a love potion into said Party's food and drink?!
Find out next week on "MountainWalk Episode 1: The Lies and The Cake"!

I guess I owe some folks an apology. My head's been on too many things at once lately. I've cleaned a thing or two off my plate, and I'm trying to get things back on track, especially here.

Suppose we should all check in first, though. I know I wasn't the only one dragging feet, so let's have a head count of who's still here and wanting to keep the game going.

Im here

May our fires burn just a wee bit longer.

I apologize for the wait I will post today. Been busy with school.

male human...sort of.

Pretty sure a few of us have.

Going to assume Freyr is basically inactive at this point until I see him again. Reminded him a couple days ago and still no post. I'm going to try moving things forward for now and see how things play out.

he said he was going dark/off the grid for finals... so that may be why, but i kinda agree.

Sorry about the slow response, still thinking of what to do and kind of taking it slow for holidays. Also waiting for Jake to come back in, check how he's doing.

That's ok. I understand being a bit too busy to respond on holidays. Not sure if Jake is still interested.

I do not think Jake is going to post..

Alright, so between my procrastination and the myriad of things/people wanting my attention, I'm not at home right now, hence it's taken me this long to notice new messages. I'm about to ask Siegfried point-blank about the game; same goes for Freyr.

Now, the question is thus: if it turns out one or both of them don't show any real enthusiasm for continuing, shall we try to recruit more in the near future? It'd be nice to get the roster back up to four or so, but we don't necessarily have to...especially since I've been equally slow about moving things forward. Our pace has been nothing short of glacial by any standard, and my lack of planning can be squarely blamed for a lot of that.

What are your thoughts?

I do not really care if we recruit another person. It just depends really. I cannot say for sure which choice would be better, since I have yet to see how combat works on paizo and I am not sure if your storyline/plan would work better with more people.

I don't mind recruitment of others. We had a queue of people when we started IIRC.

Once again I'm neglecting the boards, and once again, I feel bad about it, but this time I cannot in good conscience try to continue. I need to put aside as many distractions as I can to finish my college work. It's hard enough to make myself focus as it is, and this is just stringing people along.

If I can get to the point where my grade is secured, I'll think about picking this up again; for now though, don't worry about this game. It'll be here when we're ready for it.
