As soon as Arryn steps clear, Dregg takes a moment to center himself for the troglodytes' stinky breath then explodes forward, rushing toward the central figure. "Alright, scale-face. Let's you and me dance." He leaps into the air as he closes the distance and brings his axe down in a thunderous flash.

Arryn moves in, his stone slamming into the speaker, pushing it back, as Isabella fires a crossbow into one of the guards. Aramis follows them, her wand's coruscating spray having no obvious affect on the two targets, however. The two troglodytes throw their javelins quickly, the southern one missing Aramis as he blinks out the spots in his eyes, but the second hidding Arryn a glancing blow 1 hp. Claws now free, they rush to close with the group, jaws hanging open and revealing wicked teeth. As the northern one closes, a couple flashes of movement seem to move from him to Arryn and Aramis, who realize they're small frogs, which try to bite them I don't think either of you have a melee weapon armed, but if you do you can get an AoO. Arryn's doesn't seem to penetrate his skin, but Aramis isn't so lucky, and she feels it sting. 1 hp, and need a DC 10 Fort save or take 1d2 ⇒ 2 Con damage

Dregg closes with the speaker, but can't quite reach him after he was pushed back, axe coming down on nothing. She steps back calmly and calls out in Draconic, and the half-orc feels the haft of his weapon grow slippery, threatening to slide right out of his grip. DC 13 Reflex save or drop the greased weapon

The lizard races forward toward Isabella, jaws grabbing her midsection 10 hp; also need a DC 14 Fort save, though she's barely able to rip herself free before it can lock onto her.

I realize now that regardless of whether I got adjacent, it could still 5-ft step and cast, so that grease'll hit me either way.

Dregg’s axe pops from his hands and clatters to the stone floor, but the half-orc just grins and chuckles. ”Heh. Heh heh. You got tricks? I know a trick. I call it, ‘carry more than one weapon!’”

As if to illustrate, Dregg rips a dagger free from his belt and closes with the troglodyte once more.

Arryn dives away from the attacking troglodyte and blasts it, causing it to crumple to the ground, and giving Isabella a spot to retreat to as Clover rushes to heal her.

Aramis tries to back away -- putting a stone wall to her back as she pulls her dagger, though not in enough time to fend off the nearest attacker's claws, which rake across her face 4 hp. The lizard closes in too, snapping at Clover, but she's able to duck away.

Across the cave, Dregg closes on the troglodyte spellcaster, but his dagger swipe is wild and she steps back, casts another spell and then draws her weapon. Seeing the spear, Dregg feels a surprising flutter of fear run through him. become frightened 1 round; DC 13 Will save to instead be shaken instead

Both Isabella and Aramis feel small stings as the frogs bite them both get AoO vs. AC 13; if you do more than 4 hp, the frogs are dead and you can ignore this. Otherwise take 1 hp and make a DC Fort save or take 1 Con damage Aramis or 2 Con damage Isabella

Arryn crushes one of the troglodytes with a flick of his wrist as Isabella tries to hammer the lizard, the weapon bouncing off its tough hide, while Clover heals her wounds. Aramis swipes at the frog attacking her, but the little creature proves elusive. The other frog nips again at Isabella assuming it's still alive from the earlier AoO, it does another 1 hp damage and potential poison if the earlier save was made. The monitor lizard snaps at Clover, but its jaws close on nothing but air as she scambles back.

Dregg presses his assault against the troglodyte spellcaster, but though he overcomes the worst of the fear, it still shakes him enough that he doesn't connect. She nonetheless seems to take his advice and ends her retreat, stabbing at him with her spear and biting at him. He's able to fend her off, though as their stalemate continues.

Arryn slowly walks as if in a daze of power as rocks all around him begin to lift from the ground and orbit around his body. "I can feel everything!" he intones in awe and wonder.

Dregg chuckles as he bats the troglodyte's first strike aside and then deeper as her second strike is absorbed by the magical armor Aramis had granted him. "Heh heh. Out of tricks then? That's too ba-" his taunt is suddenly cut off as Arryn cracks a stone into the troglodyte's forehead. His face freezes for a second as the truth of the strike settles on him, then he turns around and shoots Arryn a scandalized look. "HEY! That one was mine! Go find your own miserable lizard guy to throw mind-rocks at!"

He then turns back to the caster and glances down at the dagger in his hand for a moment before then slowly returning his eyes to the troglodyte. Dregg stabs forward then, in a simple and disappointed motion, but it remains to no avail. "Maybe this dagger is busted." He lets it clatter to the ground then draws his other dagger from his belt.

Arryn's stone slams into the troglodyte to Dregg's dismay, but to his perhaps perverse pleasure, she remains on her feet, dodging his dagger and continuing her own attack as she seemingly berates him in her own tongue. The blow appears to have rattled her slightly, however, as Dregg bats her spear aside and her jaws snap at nothing but air.

Across the cave, with the frogs dispatched, Isabella bangs her hammer onto the big lizard, which hisses and snaps at her, but is fended off easily, thanks in part to Clover's supportive spearwork.

Isabella and Dregg's attacks hit their respective foes, the lizard cringing back for a moment as Aramis' magic also slams into it. Still, undaunted, they continue to press their attacks.

Dregg escapes harm, but the monitor lizard ignores Clover's attempts to fend it off Isabella and tears into her, though the halfling's jabbing spear prevents it from getting a solid grip. Isabella takes 6 hp, must make a DC 14 Fort save

Determined to bring down the blasted lizard, Aramis fires off another shot from her wand! The force missile zips around her companions and slams into the lizards face.

Again, what started as a surgically-accurate bombardment of stones has devolved into absolute chaos as Arryn is completely overwhelmed with the telekinetic power he’s trying to channel. The rock he flings at the spellcaster goes well wide.

Huffing with a tired grin on his face, Dregg grunts as he stabs at the troglodyte again, but the strike is slow and hits nothing but air. "Aww. Don't tell me I broke this one too?" He frowns at the dagger in his hand, then looks up at his foe and waves her forward with his free hand. "Heh. Come and get some, stink-face."

Clover tries to help Isabella, but the snapping jaws of the enormous lizard beside her bite down near her leg and the little halfling stumbles over the words of the spell, losing it in the process. "Awww! I'm sorry! But did you see that thing nearly swallow me just now?!"

Isabella and Aramis manage to put down the lizard, leaving Clover free to cast her magic without any difficulty so +7 hp for Isabella, though Dregg and Arryn aren't so fortunately against the last remaining troglodyte. Fortunately for the half-orc, she seems as flustered as him by the small hail of stones pelting the both of them, and he easily fends off her spear thrust.

Bite: 1d20 - 3 ⇒ (8) - 3 = 5

Dregg and Aramis finally are able to bring the troglodyte down, and she collapses into a heap alongside the other corpses that litter the chamber.

A quick search reveals she has two vials on her, as well as a heavy crossbow with 10 bolts and a nice spear. She also has a geode periapt worth 25 gp.

Spellcraft DC 16:

Once vial contains an oil of magic weapon

The other vial is a potion of owl's wisdom.

Detect magic:

The spear radiates magic (but that will fade in a short time; it was treated with an oil of magic weapon, but without that it's masterwork).

Two paths lead off to areas you haven't explored to the south and the southeast.

Arryn drops to one knee, rocks and debris still circling ever faster. Just as it looks like some sort of explosion is imminent, they suddenly drop from the air and rattle across the floor. Arryn takes several deep breaths sprawled across the cave floor, then retches at the lingering smell of troglodyte.

Brushing himself off and shakily standing, he says, ”I’m sorry everyone. I guess I lost control of it for a moment. It was like I could feel every rock in here, like I was running my hands over the entire cave at the same time. It was just too much. I’m really sorry.”

Dregg grunts at Arryn's apology at he retrieves his discarded dagger and dropped axe, "Meh. You did fine. But you'd do better if you quit feelin' up caves and stuck with throwing plates. I'm telling you, you're good with the plates."

Aramis chants a few arcane words of power, causing her eyes to glow a bright green. Detect magic. Then she inspects the vials and objects.

She holds up the first vials and passes it to Dregg. "Here. It will make your axe magical for a while if you coat it in this before a fight." (oil of magic weapon.)

I don't know what the second vial is. Anyone want to perception it?

He gives Dregg a familiar pat on the shoulder and gives him a commiserating smile.

Arryn gets nothing from a tiny sip of the second potion. ”Is that chicory?”

"Mine's better."

When she notes Aramis and Arryn struggle with the potion, Isabella walks over, dips a pinky in the liquid and gives it a taste.
"Owl's wisdom. Good stuff, for some. Should hang on to that."
