Wait, did you just say Goliath gets to engange in melee this round? If so I'll charge at the giant. I thought he was too far away.

CaveToad |

He will be in melee range, but not able to strike this round. He has to move up and cannot charge through the stone call. Although it occurs that if he held his action the giant might move out of the stone call, and then he could charge the giant, or move to melee it depending how far it moved. That depends if the giant moves out, which it would seem to be the case based on what it did last round. I think it makes sense for him to delay his action, strategically.

Xanya Zellor |

Yeah, the superwide stone call kinda screws us over here. It would be kinda disaster for Xanya if the giant manages to close to melee range before she can charge though. The problem with charging in and having Goliath move into melee is that then the giant gets off a full attack. I think it might be better to have Goliath move closer so he can engage next round. Of course the giant can engage him then, but it would only be a single attack. Can he do this and casts spell? What spells does he have left? Might not be a bad idea to heal Xanya. This would also allow Kiki to move a lot closer, otherwise she would be out of the action. She is quite a large portion of our damage dealing 4d3+8d6+32 damage per round if she gets all her attacks off (assuming she climbs on top of the giant). If she hides in the grass in front/near of Goliath she might even be able to get off a full attack on her first round. Sorry for the metagame/tactics, but I feel like there has been enough confusion/misunderstandings now.

CaveToad |

Well the way I look at it from what would be Goliath's perspective, and ignoring what I plan to have the giant do as a GM, the giant, if he moved would reach the edge of the stone call on his turn and throw another rock based on prior actions. The giant can't charge because of the stone call and he would also not be able to also move further and still melee Goliath. So that is why Goliath is waiting. Now in theory the giant could wait as well and just hurl another boulder, but he is stronger in melee. If both Xanya and Goliath waited for the giant, then he would be at the edge of the stone call( green circle ) and both could charge him. I don't think Goliath could get into position enough this round for Xanya to get flank, but Kiki has also not moved for the prior round and if double moved or more would be in position to remain hidden and flank and take a full round after Giant->Goliath->Xanya went. Goliath for his part could actually quickly explain this since you are only 10' away from each other and speak a language the enemies don't. So metagaming aspects are minimized. Keep in mind that the following round the giant will get a full sequence of attacks, but that is after getting hit by Goliath, Xanya and Kiki. Goliath still has panache for dodge and parry. Depending on rolls the group could get unlucky and the giant could drop someone on his round, but depending on Quassine's move, that leaves multiple backstabbers in melee with him, and able to make full round attacks. Aster will be able to join and Simon should be able to close enough for flag waving and sing-a-along plus support spells. I can't imagine the giant lasting too long.

Xanya Zellor |

Simon's position seems kinda far forward. Goliath could also channel if he wants to save his spells/doesn't have any left. Since Xanya also ignore allies for pathing for charging she can probably charge no matter where the rest are.
Xanya once again draws upon the power within her and it floods out healing all around her, though with only her being wounded she is the only one feeling her wounds itch and close up. It gets easier to breathe after the healing, but her rage is still just as strong. "Move out in front and I'll charge at it once you've joined battle." Xanya says to Goliath, indicating that he should move further forward.

Round 6 - completion
Kiki moves up staying in the grass, and stealthily puts herself in position to attack.
Kiki Stealth, fast move: 1d20 + 28 - 5 ⇒ (2) + 28 - 5 = 25
Fire Giant perception, distance, unfavorable conditions: 1d20 + 14 - 2 - 2 ⇒ (12) + 14 - 2 - 2 = 22
Simon and Aster double move closer to the fight.
Round 7
Xanya 24
Wyvern 18
Gnolls 14
Fire Giant 13
Goliath 12
Quassine 12
Kiki 7
Simon/Aster 6
Xanya channels energy, healing and preparing to attack the giant.
Goliath pauses briefly allowing the giant to make his move before attacking.
Wyvern stabilize DC 10: 1d20 + 4 - 11 ⇒ (17) + 4 - 11 = 10 - success, stable
The gnolls advance a little bit again and fire their composite longbows.
Gnoll #1 composite longbow vs Aster AC 22: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3 - miss
Gnoll #2 composite longbow vs Aster AC 22: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3 - miss

Gnoll #12 composite longbow vs Simon AC 21: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 1 = 16 - miss
All the gnolls miss.
The fire giant advances slowly through the stone call debris and reaches close to its edge. As predicted he hurls another boulder at Goliath.
Fire Giant boulder vs Goliath AC 25: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (11) + 10 = 21 - miss
grass save: 1d20 ⇒ 14
The boulder lands in the tall grass again but doesn't start anything on fire. The previous fire however seems to grow in size.
Fire spread: 1d8 ⇒ 3
Goliath, having waited for this chance, now steps forward and swings at the fire giant.
Goliath sword: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (2) + 11 = 13 - miss
Unfortunately, in his zeal, Goliath's blow is poorly aimed and glances off the giant's armor.
Quassine, Simon/Aster, Kiki take your round 7 actions! Xanya/Cryxial, prep for round 8!

Xanya Zellor |

Too bad Kiki isn't 1 square east, that would have let her 5 foot/climb up on the giant to full attack (she can do that right? Or is it always a move action to climb onto someone?), since you were the one moving her, I don't suppose you would allow moving her one W? It really would make a lot more sense. Also Goliath's modifier should be +15, not +11. Am I correct in thinking that the giant doesn't have a melee weapon drawn and hence probably can't use iteratives next round?
Xanya charges forward, eyes blazing and frothing around the mouth. She has waited long enough. Trying to control her rage while waiting for her companions to reach the enemies had been an incredible struggle for her. Dimly she feel some weird proudness that she has managed to resist. Why the hell should she feel proud that she has avoided battle? That makes no sense. She grips her lance with both hands as Cryxial leaps forward and stabs at the giant. Cryxial continues his movement, using the opportunity offered by the giant trying to defend itself in order to avoid it retaliating.
Ride-by attack let's Xanya allow AoO from the target of her charge and lets she continue 5 more feet so Cryxial can attack too. I'm going to assume Kiki managed to climb onto the giant so we get flanking. Remove +2 from all the attacks and sneak damage if not.
Bite Cryxial: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (16) + 12 = 28
Damage: 1d6 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8
Claw Cryxial: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (1) + 12 = 13
Damage: 1d4 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10
Claw Cryxial: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (13) + 12 = 25

Attack Xanya Lance: 1d20 + 21 ⇒ (9) + 21 = 30
Damage: 5d6 + 54 ⇒ (6, 1, 3, 3, 2) + 54 = 69
Xanya: HP:39/63 AC 23(25 w/Ikik save for giant). Cryxial: HP: 39/39 AC: 12(Mounted combat first success)

Quassine Alator |

ROUND 7
Nice move CT, I see that Quassine can't charge because Simon is in the way. :-) Anyway ...
Quassine walks 40' and flails out his tentacles at the Giant and Gnolls activating his Mind Blast.
The cone should cover the Giant and the (3) Gnolls below it.

Xanya Zellor |

I think you can actually cover the giant and 4 gnolls, though you get to chose between 6 and 9 (I drew a template that you can move around). What's the DC?

Quassine Alator |

DC: 15
Edited: I adjusted Simon and I where we were on the end of my move.

Kiki Bitterdew |

Kiki skitters trough the grass, the rocks and up the giant's leg. looking for a vulnerable spot she draws one of her dwarfen blades, gives Needle a good lick and stabs.
attack(needle,pirania strike: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (6) + 11 = 17
damage(weapon+dex+pirania+sneak: 1d2 + 6 + 2 + 1d6 ⇒ (1) + 6 + 2 + (2) = 11

Xanya Zellor |

We are level 3 so sneak is now 2d6. Also that hit modifier sounds really low, are you sure it's correct? 3 bab + 6 dex + 2 size+ 1 masterwork-1 piranha strike +1 weapon focus +1 banner +1 inspire courage +2 flank = +16

Kiki Bitterdew |

oops ... forgot lots of stuff

Goliath, War Scion of Ragathiel |

Hey everyone I'm back. Things look good so far. So we are engaged with the giant. I will use panache to parry if attacked. CT you forgot divine favor and inspire on Goliath. I'm sure I'm out of the flag bonus, but +3 would not have made a difference :)
Parry: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (14) + 14 = 28

CaveToad |

Too bad Kiki isn't 1 square east, that would have let her 5 foot/climb up on the giant to full attack (she can do that right?
She didn't have enough move to get to that square because she already had to take a diagonal at the start, and the second one would have cost double to get to it.

CaveToad |

Woops, didn't intend on it. You could just wait until he moves out of the way I guess. Either way it looks like it worked.

CaveToad |

Round 7 - end
Quassine moves up and unleashes his psionic blast.
Gnoll #7 will save DC 15: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (19) + 0 = 19 - success
Gnoll #8 will save DC 15: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (7) + 0 = 7 - fail

Fire Giant will save DC 15: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (4) + 9 = 13 -fail
Quassine focuses his mental energies and a pulse of his will washes over some of his enemies dazing them, as they stand there fuzzy headed.
Kiki close to the giant
Fire Giant Perception DC 28: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (2) + 14 = 16 - fail
The dazed fire giant fails to see Kiki as she skitters into the grass next to him and then up his legs (take 10 climbing beats the giant's CMD).
She tries to stab him with her sword, but his thick skin and armor manage to protect him.
Simon steps up and hurls a snowball at the giant.
Ranged touch attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20 - hit
Snowball damage: 3d6 ⇒ (5, 5, 3) = 13 +50% vs fire type = 19
Fire Giant fortitude save DC 17: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (1) + 14 = 15 - lol fail
In addition to being dazed by the psionic blast, the giant is staggered by the power of the snowball, so cold. ( staggered and dazed don't really stack, as dazed is worse than staggered really. )
Aster charges the giant, pouncing (I think technically by RAW the giant still gets AoOs, but that doesn't make sense being dazed, although I am not sure if an AoO is considered an action, it just happens, but I don't think it makes sense. If anyone can find rulings to help great.)
claw attack: 1d20 + 3 + 3 + 2 + 2 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 3 + 3 + 2 + 2 + 1 + 1 = 29 - hit
claw attack: 1d20 + 3 + 3 + 2 + 2 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 3 + 3 + 2 + 2 + 1 + 1 = 32 - hit, possible crit
claw crit confirm: 1d20 + 3 + 3 + 2 + 2 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 3 + 3 + 2 + 2 + 1 + 1 = 20 - miss
bite attack: 1d20 + 3 + 3 + 2 + 2 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 3 + 3 + 2 + 2 + 1 + 1 = 13 - miss
claw damage: 1d6 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 + 2 = 9
claw damage: 1d6 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 + 2 = 10
bleed, take best of two: 2d6 ⇒ (2, 6) = 8 (6 bleed to giant on its turn)
Aster pounces on the giant, ripping into it with its claws, leaving gaping bloody wounds.

Round 8
Xanya 24
Wyvern 18
Gnolls 14
Fire Giant 13
Goliath 12
Quassine 12
Kiki 7
Simon/Aster 6
Xanya, seeing her companions close with the fire giant, charges the dazed giant. She stabs deeply with her lance finding a weak spot as Kiki distracts him. Her lance drives deeply, and Cryxial closes the final few feet to rear up and savagely bite and claw at the giant. (ignoring AoOs again since giant is dazed)
The giant howls in pain as the group assaults him and fights off his dazed state. (no action)
Several of the gnolls are dazed as well, but the others draw their greatswords and advance to do melee.

A gnoll moves up to engage Xanya.
Gnoll #7 power attack vs Xanya AC 23: 1d20 + 1 - 1 ⇒ (13) + 1 - 1 = 13 - miss
Two gnolls move to take out Quassine, one of them circling around to flank him.

Gnoll #12 power attack vs flank Quassine AC 26: 1d20 + 1 - 1 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 1 - 1 + 2 = 19 - miss
gnolls 8,9 and 10 are dazed for this round
Goliath, Quassine, Kiki, Simon/Aster take your round 8 actions. Xanya prep for round 9. Don't forget Kiki provides flanking, and don't forget your Courage and Banner bonuses.

Xanya Zellor |

Attack of opportunity vs gnoll #7: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (6) + 17 = 23 damage: 1d6 + 18 ⇒ (2) + 18 = 20
Even if the giant wasn't dazed Ride-by attack would ignore AoO's as I stated in my previous post
As the gnoll charges at Xanya she just manages to pull out her lance from the giant and swipe it into it's path, making an attempt to stab at the creature.

Xanya Zellor |

Xanya attack vs Giant: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (18) + 19 = 37 damage: 3d6 + 18 ⇒ (3, 5, 3) + 18 = 29

Cryxial atack vs Giant: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (11) + 10 = 21 damage: 1d4 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9
Cryxial atack vs Giant: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (15) + 10 = 25 damage: 1d4 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9
"Let's get him down while he is distracted!" Xanya shouts out, taking advantage of the giant flailing about due to Kiki climbing all over him to strike into his armpit, driving her lance deep into the huge creature. Cryxial tries to keep her steady while at the same time doing his best to lash out at the soft join of the giant's heels and knees.

Quassine Alator |

ROUND 8
Quassine ducks and sidesteps his attacker's onslaught, weapon edges barely missing him. Hearing Xanya's call out to attack the giant, he moves 5' to his current position (40-R) to avoid AoO and shoots a jet of acid towards the Giant.
ACID JET ATTACK (SU) - RANGE TOUCH ATTACK: 1d20 + 7 + 2 - 1 ⇒ (17) + 7 + 2 - 1 = 25
MAGIC ACID JET DAMAGE: 2d6 + 3 ⇒ (5, 6) + 3 = 14
Sickened unless Fort Save for this many rounds: 1d4 ⇒ 1
[No AoO for 5' move, +2 atk = Inspire Courage/Banner 25' away, Soft Cover? (I don't think so since target Giant is taller than the Gnoll? Even if there is soft cover, most likely going to hit touch AC with my roll.), -1 for Light Sensitivity, -1 AR pool point = 3/6 remaining.]

Xanya Zellor |

Any ranged attack provokes. Though they only hit on a natural 20 anyway. They do hit really hard though... You don't take -1 for light sensitivity since you are within 20 feet of Xanya though. You do get +2 damage from banner according to this post though, so should be +5: http://paizo.com/threads/rzs2q0e7?Are-spells-like-acid-splash-subject-to-ra nge#49
I guess there is a significant chance that Kiki actually downs the giant before any of the rest of us gets to attack... Though we probably shouldn't worry too much if that happens :p

Quassine Alator |

Supernatural Abilities (Su)
These can't be disrupted in combat and generally don't provoke attacks of opportunity. They aren't subject to spell resistance, counterspells, or dispel magic, and don't function in antimagic areas.
And the banner states weapon damage, not spell damage or just damage.

Xanya Zellor |

Super Natural Attacks do not draw AoO.
Yes indeed the Su part of the ability does not provoke, but it gives you a ranged touch attack and that does provoke.

Quassine Alator |

Quassine Alator wrote:Super Natural Attacks do not draw AoO.Yes indeed the Su part of the ability does not provoke, but it gives you a ranged touch attack and that does provoke.
That's a stupid rule. It should be all or nothing. So that means, casting and throwing a snow ball would cause a double AoO. A breath weapon should then also draw AoOs. I mean heck, the dragon has to suck the air in before releasing.

Xanya Zellor |

That's correct and that exact question has been FAQed: http://paizo.com/paizo/faq/v5748nruor1fm#v5748eaic9qdc This FAQ is from 2012 btw.

Goliath, War Scion of Ragathiel |

Yep casting and throwing a snow ball or shooting a ray does provoke twice once for casting and once for using a range attack
Round 8
Flurry Sword Swing: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (7) + 13 = 20
Flurry Sword Swing: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (10) + 13 = 23

Quassine Alator |

Ok, I fixed it with a 5' move to my current position, and also added in AoO to one of the Gnolls that advanced on me.

Xanya Zellor |

Did you remember bonus from flanking Goliath? Kiki gives flanking to everyone (Str+8, WF+1, MW+1, BA+2, Size -1, Flurry -2, IC +1, banner +1, divine favor +2, flank +2) = +15 @Quassine: I guess there is no way for the gnoll to both pass by Quassine and Xanya without provoking. CT could have specified the path of the gnolls so we could know who they provoke from though. When I went over the math for the AoO I realized I had included furious focus against the other gnoll, that's wrong so please reduce that by 1. The modifier against the giant is correct though.
AoO against #12 if it passed through Xanya's threatened area: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (10) + 16 = 26 damage: 1d6 + 18 ⇒ (6) + 18 = 24

Quassine Alator |

I removed the AoO because I don't think they passed me to threatened an AoO from me. Maybe you?

Goliath, War Scion of Ragathiel |

No I didn't realize we were flanking with Kiki. So I did not have flanking included. That will mean one hit if it has the 24 AC. I will roll the damage and CT will let us know.
Damage: 2d8 + 12 ⇒ (4, 8) + 12 = 24

Kiki Bitterdew |

I spend 1 hero point so that the thrid attack hits, that with the bleed damage should be enough to kill him

CaveToad |

Round 8
Goliath takes two swings at the giant, and with Kiki's distraction lands a solid blow that sends the giant stumbling, staggering and barely standing.
Quassine takes a quick step and invokes his acid jet hitting the giant square in the face. Its screams of agony turn to a gurgle as the acid eats away its face and it drops to the ground it a massive thump, gurgling face down in the grass. Kiki rides the giant to the ground stabbing and stabbing and it dies.
With Quassine's move the daze ends for the gnolls and the (unconscious/dead)giant.
Kiki, no need to spend a hero point as it wasn't needed.
Simon steps up and casts grease on gnolls 8 and 10.
gnoll 8 Reflex save DC 18: 1d20 ⇒ 10 - fail
gnoll 10 Reflex save DC 18: 1d20 ⇒ 12 - fail
Both of the gnolls slip in the slick magical grease coating the grass and slip to the ground.
Aster attacks the gnolls.
Aster claw attack gnoll #1: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14 - miss
Aster claw attack gnoll #1: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9 - miss
Aster bite attack gnoll #1: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (18) + 8 = 26 - hit
bite damage to gnoll #1: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10
Aster bites one of them savagely and moves slightly.
Some other stuff. Gnoll #12 circled around from the southwest and didn't provoke from anyone. Kiki's stone call ends on her turn on round 8. I don't see that Aster did actually have mage armor on him. That would have changed a few hits, my bad. The dazed effect wears off on Quassine's turn. I think I covered everything. Round 9 Xanya go.

Xanya Zellor |

What happened to gnoll 7? I kinda needs to know for my attack. Did I hit? Did it survive? Rolled right after your previous post.

Xanya Zellor |

Xanya attack vs Gnoll #6: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (18) + 19 = 37 damage: 3d6 + 51 ⇒ (3, 5, 3) + 51 = 62
Cryxial atack vs Gnoll #3: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (7) + 10 = 17 damage: 1d6 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8
Cryxial atack vs Gnoll #3: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (11) + 10 = 21 damage: 1d4 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9
Cryxial atack vs Gnoll #3: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (15) + 10 = 25 damage: 1d4 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9
Let's just use same rolls, charge vs #3 for Xanya and #6 for Cryxial. 62 damage for Xanya though since now she's charging.
end rage, how many rounds more: 1d4 ⇒ 3Xanya lets out a squeal of glee as the giant goes down. "Yay! We did it! No giant can come here and think they can invade if we are protecting the place! Give up your invasion now and throw down your weapons!" She then charges toward Aster, eager to clean up the gnolls before they can hurt Simon's companion furhter. Her powerful blow against the gnoll pretty much blows it to pieces, leaving a fine red mist in it's place. Cryxial meanwhile lays into one of the other gnolls.
intimidate if I get a check, it's just talking, normally it would take a minute of talking to get a check though, but I imagine her actions might speed along their reactions somewhat: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (10) + 10 = 20
I really think Simon should be flying at this poing, also I'm thinking he really would have just cast grease to down the three around Aster to protect his companion, but eh, whatever. Xanya is still the only PC that has taken damage...

Kiki Bitterdew |

Kiki whoops as she rides the falling giant and proclaims " Call me Kiki the Giant-Slayer"
afterwards she turns to the gnolls that previously attacked her(or at least the ones that look like them), skitters onto them and starts stabbing
5-foot step into square of gnoll 6 if it is still alive else gnoll 2 or 5
attack(needle): 1d20 + 10 + 1 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 10 + 1 + 1 + 2 = 32
attack(blade): 1d20 + 8 + 1 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 8 + 1 + 1 + 2 = 27
attack(stake): 1d20 + 8 + 1 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 8 + 1 + 1 + 2 = 15
attack(stake): 1d20 + 8 + 1 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 8 + 1 + 1 + 2 = 13
damage(needle): 1d3 + 6 + 2 + 2 + 1 + 2d6 ⇒ (2) + 6 + 2 + 2 + 1 + (4, 5) = 22
damage(blade): 1d3 + 6 + 2 + 2 + 1 + 2d6 ⇒ (1) + 6 + 2 + 2 + 1 + (2, 1) = 15
damage(stake): 1d2 + 6 + 2 + 2 + 1 + 2d6 ⇒ (1) + 6 + 2 + 2 + 1 + (2, 2) = 16
damage(stake): 1d2 + 6 + 2 + 2 + 1 + 2d6 ⇒ (1) + 6 + 2 + 2 + 1 + (4, 1) = 17
if a gnoll dies throw stake at next one and use Underfoot assault to move into the square of the next gnoll(when he misses)(preferring targets treatend by allies) and continue stabbing

Xanya Zellor |

It's the gnolls before you go again Kiki.

Kiki Bitterdew |

if they stick around I can use what I just posted and if not then I will just throw stakes at them :3

Goliath, War Scion of Ragathiel |

Goliath steps around Aster and takes a swing at the first gnoll.
Sword Flurry: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (15) + 13 = 28
Damage: 2d8 + 12 ⇒ (8, 8) + 12 = 28 Assuming that kills one, he uses his reach to strike the next in line.
Sword Flurry: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (5) + 13 = 18
Damage: 2d8 + 12 ⇒ (3, 2) + 12 = 17
"Press the assault. Give no quarter until these mangy dogs throw down their arms."

Round 9
Xanya 24
Wyvern 18
Gnolls 14
Fire Giant 13
Goliath 12
Quassine 12
Kiki 7
Simon/Aster 6
Xanya charges forward on Cryxial and stabs one of the gnolls in the neck with her lance, it basically takes his head off. He wouldn't explode into a red mist although it was a lot of damage haha
Cryxial continues forward after Xanya's kill to pounce on the gnoll ahead of him and takes it down in a flurry of claws and teeth.
The gnolls, seeing the giant downed easily, and dispatched quickly, decide to flee.
Xanya you will get AoOs on gnolls #1, #4 and or #2. Cryxial on #1 and #4.
Goliath will get an AoO on gnoll #1.
Aster will get an AoO on gnoll #1.
Assuming you take the AoOs:
Xanya AoO vs gnoll #4: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (2) + 17 = 19 - hit
Xanya AoO vs gnoll #2: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (16) + 17 = 33 - hit
Xanya AoO vs gnoll #1: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (14) + 17 = 31 - hit
damage vs #1: 1d6 + 17 ⇒ (1) + 17 = 18
damage vs #2: 1d6 + 17 ⇒ (3) + 17 = 20
damage vs #4: 1d6 + 17 ⇒ (5) + 17 = 22
When combined with Goliath and Cryxial attacks that I won't even roll, the gnolls are quite dead.
The other gnolls quickly move away and are not threatened by anyone.
Gnolls #9 and #10 in the grease try to stand and move out.
Acrobatics check DC 10: 1d20 ⇒ 14 - success
Acrobatics check DC 10: 1d20 ⇒ 10 - success
They stand from prone and move out of the grease successfully and also flee.
grass fire: 1d20 ⇒ 5
grass fire: 1d20 ⇒ 13
grass fire: 1d8 ⇒ 8
With the gnolls on the run, you can give chase or use ranged.
Simon takes to the air after them but being just short of any useful spells he keeps flying, and Aster gives chase. The bodies of the giant and the gnolls are large enough to prevent charging over.
Not sure if the nonviolent Simon and Aster would chase down fleeing opponents, but he can chime in if he is able.
Goliath (rego), Quassine, Kiki go. Kiki, you could throw your stakes, but the range increment is only 10' and you would have a significant penalty to hit the gnolls, but you can try.

Xanya Zellor |

Dragon Style allows Cryxial to charge ignore difficult terrain when charging. Is that not enough to charge over the gnolls? Seems really weird that he can charge through dense undergrowth or up a steep cliff but not over dead bodies.

Simon Saito |

Aster would chase, but Simon would cast Entangle to keep them from getting away. They might be able to get something out of them.

Xanya Zellor |

Cryxial spurts forward. His new-found agility easily allowing him to go at max speed over the heaps of dead bodies. Xanya shouts out while she approaches with her lance. "Throw down your weapons and surrender or we will hunt you down, hunt you all down!" Her eyes are still blazing, though she feels he emotions cooling as the majority of the battle is over and she knows she can't keep chasing forever. Cryxial's great speed easily allows her to catch up to the gnolls and she stabs at one while Cryxial attempts to tear into another one.
Xanya charge attack vs gnoll #5: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (10) + 19 = 29 damage: 1d6 + 54 ⇒ (4) + 54 = 58
Cryxial bite vs gnoll #8: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (2) + 10 = 12
damage: 1d6 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12
Cryxial claw vs gnoll #8: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (19) + 10 = 29
damage: 1d4 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11
Cryxial claw vs gnoll #8: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (9) + 10 = 19
damage: 1d4 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9
I don't think Simon is the kind to chase after enemies, but we are kinda trying to stop an invasion here. Every enemy we let escape is one that can fight again another day and kill someone on our side. I hope Kiki or Goliath (or both) have prepeared create water so they can stop the fire before it spreads further. That's probably a higher priority than chasing down the gnolls even. Oh yeah and if Xanya had a choice she would let Goliath take his AoO first so he could regain panache (he isn't maxed after killing the Wyvern right?). Oups I forgot to add an extra 2d6 damage to Xanya's attack since her dice are also trippled...

Goliath, War Scion of Ragathiel |

Once the start to flee Goliath would use his AoO to grab one. They may not know much but I'm sure they know something.
I'm at max panache. Didn't use any this battle.

You can't normally use AoO's for grapple attempts without either the grab monster ability or Seize the Opportunity (from the PoW:E feat document). You can trip though. If Goliath prefers to grab one instead of stopping the fire Xanya will let him instead of killing the guy. Just keep the previous intimidate check(20) for trying to make the gnolls stop/surrender.
