Able is overcome by the moment, and has sat to record the goings-on immediately, tome open in his lap, his maddened pen-scrabbling lit by the wayfinder bouncing on his chest. "What a find, what a wonderful find," he says quietly to himself, shaking his head at his own luck, to be a part of something so momentous.

After examining the statue carefully, Talahel determines that pressure applied at the right point will move the statue out of the way. "Be on the alert in case something is lurking on the other side."
Talahel places both hands on the statue and pushes.

Sorry, I've been traveling for a few days.
Talahel peers into the darkness. "Its hard for me to see. Able, can you cast light on my sword? I'll lead the way down."
If Able has light, Talahel will go down the stairs with his long sword out in front of him leading the way. If not, Auri may have to do down with his darkvision
Talahel begins going down the stairs, longsword drawn and glowing. He keeps an eye out for anything dangerous or clues about the purpose of this secret area. Perception 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (18) + 8 = 26

No Light - sorry :/ I think that means I have to turn my adventuring card.
"Ah, brother Pathfinder, as the ancient Osirian adage goes, minds of similar magnitude create thoughts of similar origin," Able chirps happily as he pulls out his wayfinder. He stays towards the back as the three head into the the darkness.

The stairs lead down into the monastery's undercrypt, a series of ten-foot-wide rough-hewn passages dug in a double-cross formation. The main thoroughfare runs north to south, with two similar eastwest passages crossing the main hall about fifty feet apart. An eerie silence pervades the cool subterranean funerary network, which must contain the bodies of scores — if not hundreds — of honoured worshipers of Sarenrae in shallow niches carved into the walls of the east-west passages. Many of these skeletal remains have been roughly tossed from their niches, and countless bones and skulls line the floor.
Do you want to explore a bit, or would you prefer to return to the surface?

Able holds the mace in both hands, examining it from every angle, searching for distinctive markings.

            In deference to Auri's god, Talahel takes one more look over the crypt. Perception 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9
If he finds nothing, he suggests that the group returns to the surface. If something more of value is discovered, he stops and looks at it more closely.
LOL - Talahel appears to be growing weary of the search, with a roll like above.

Moving on, a rather enthusiastic pseudodragon in the lead, you find a corpse of a man in yellowing leather armour — clearly not a member of the monastic community — lying at the end of a passage. The armour looks well-made, and he's armed with a dagger.

"See Talahel, we must press on to find whatbecame of this place. Able, scribe every detail, it is important!"

*TING!" - the dagger is magical.
The armour just looks to be well-made, probably of masterwork quality.
Ouch! Dearly beloved gets gallstones... oddly, the main trigger is Pizza Hut pizza. He can eat anyone else's pizza, just not ones from the Hut. As their ice cream disagrees with my daughter, and I just don't like their food much, we don't go there any more!

Talahel, he appears to have had his skull bashed in for him.
Moving onwards, you find a side passage. Buried under a jumble of bones at the end of this passage is a small teak box emblazoned with the holy symbol of Sarenrae (and for once, no bodies at all).

Able, at Auri's request, is carefully chronicling the tomb in this book, pen flying across the paper. "Truly, Aurichalcum, your Mistress of Flame has blessed you with this, the beginnings of your own treasure trove, here in her temple!" He begins a fanciful drawing of Auri as a full-grown dragon on top of a massive pile of treasure.

Talahel, you check the box over carefully, occasionally having to move a pseudodragon snout out of the way. Everything seems to be in order, and it is closed with a simple clasp, so you open it.
Inside there is a wooden holy symbol of Sarenrae suspended on a silver chain (to be worn as a necklace) and a finely-crafted ornate gold brooch.
And before anyone asks, the brooch is radiating magic. Strongly.
