Well, it looks unanimous... We've got ourselves an escort mission after we clear out that barrow.
Once he's settled in, I'm thinking we could make arrangements with our former team members to send provisions and check on the new caretaker periodically.

Between prepping for my Pathfinder Marvels: The Age of Strange campaign (based on a setting created by Clinton Boomer) that starts tomorrow and trying to chase down my status in regards to a new job, it's been pretty hectic. Hello, I have been playing dnd and the mix for a very long time and had designed a character for this campaign. I spoke with a member of the group and thought it would be great if I could join in. I would like permission from the other players as well to be accepted. Name attached is the character in question to be played Noriel Dregon a half-elf(Drow bloodline), Kineticist level 5 (Aether). As far as description and history she ready to go, of course there may be some fine touch ups along the way for description and well, character personality.
I'm friends with Noriel's player. He's been wanting to get in on a game for a while now, so he asked me about possibly joining this one after it came up in conversation. So I had him bring the idea to you guys. The DM has already said she has no problem with him participating, but it still needs to be decided by the rest of the group.

Thank you all for the privilege to play with such a devoted campaign. I look forward to it. I await the DM character review and approval before I do anything or mention anything in gameplay. I will make mention that I normally post a lot of information with each post, generally character description and actions. I can't wait to start.

I keep thinking that once Oleg gets wind of us turning away (scaring off) potential customers from his actual business that we might hear about what he has told the guards to do/say before letting people in.........
Granted I am new, though for a average Trading post your questions are intensive. I imagine if you asked such deep question to every newcomer your trading post would find little business. After all Noriel did original state for food and logging, and adventure, though not in as direct words as one could say, its her allure that gives her mystery and fun. Her words were direct on second post but I think the comment on her being a Kuthite, and her appearance gave caution.
However, that said, I am sure many others would have less of people asking about there personal business as long as trouble doesn't follow.
I don't know that the "inquisition" from Jirani or Rhas will be nearly so intense. Think of it as Tough Cops/Nice Cops maybe? Lol I'm still finding my own feet in the group so you'll get little in the way of questions out of me. :-)

I am returning to a thing that went on for some time, long ago it seems where we were noting the similarities in appearance between Lothar and Barnabus, though each seems to be trying hard not to look anything like the other.
The personalities are opposite in many regards as well.
I think we toyed with the idea of maybe being related (seperated at birth/young age, I think we resolved to leave it in the hands of our DM Megan.

Yes true very true, the Gothic appearance is rather disturbing to anyone, immediately assumed evil. However; With your premission I would like to add as part of her history that she was raised as NE from her Drow mother, but as she grew older her human presents rebelled and gave her insight to balance which is her N alignment. Trained in the dark arts of Drow but working to fight against it for her human balance.

I don't mind longer posts. I like them better when they are well-written and thought-out, as yours seem to be - I find wading through misspellings and lousy punctuation annoying in a short post, tiring in a long one.

Megan, I am thinking that Rhasa is somewhat well-traveled and would have a reasonable chance of identifying a half-drow. As I said in the post, she has obviously described her eyes as elven, so Rhasa will know there's some elf blood present, but how likely is she to realize that Noriel is a half-blood (the ears would give that away, but I don't know if the hat covers them) or that the elven half is unusual?
This is about as close as I can edit a picture to give a clean image of what she looks like. Her clothing is a bit darker, she is wearing studded leather and a cloak. Her hair is over her ears but clearly visible through the hair, with a slight dark tint across the top of her elven ears. Her skin is fair skin, much like a human skin would be with lack of sun. The picture is the color of her fair skin. She was raised up north in the mountain caves, though she spent much of her time among the surface in the snow away from the Drow as she was an outcast for most of them, venturing back to home only when she had to or when she needed sleep. Ideally its not to unreasonable if you accept the picture as her Half-Drow appearance. While she is half human her body took much of her mother shape, and clear elven features in the face. If her mother was more light Grey skin she could have a much lighter skin with a human father.
However on a side note, below her clothing not yet revealed accept her belly I could see a light dusky gray like around the belly, perhaps the back of her hands, darker around the knuckles and joints due to them not being exposed to the cold snow and sunlight.
Anyway thats just my point of view. Sorry to cause such a huge commotion of her appearance. Sorry I can't draw a better picture.

Now... the real question is whether Lothar would know more about this telekinetic display, given that psychic magic is a much more common occurrence in Vudra than in Avistan? Because if that's the case, it may color his perception of her a bit.

That works. So you are apparently working with the expectation that drow skin gets lighter with exposure to the sun as opposed to the real-world idea of getting darker with sun exposure... Interesting.
I'm going to go with Rhasa realizes - soon if not already - what Noriel's bloodline is. However, she has always been one to judge an individual on their own actions, so the jury has made no decisions about Noriel yet.
Really just think people who live in the north or snow end up much lighter skin then people who live say in America. But anyways, dead subject.

I rather like the idea of the drow's skin reacting to sunlight differently than a surface elf, actually.

Lol. Well I guess drow just depend on which side has stronger blood line. Human or drow. I would assume human skin would get lighter without light, opposed to drow. Anyways. Great game going to post late this evening when I settle down from driving.
Using real life as reference for drizzy it doesn't matter. Mixed heritage always favors one side or another.
