But it doesn't fully deter the young unwise Wizard for hitting the Dwarf again with a Magic Missile.

Encounter over

Elektra Stardancer |

"Well Orik was given pardon. It is your turn now. Please tell us what you were working on and show us your notes! Then we will bring you to sandpoint. On the bonus side. You were never involved in any actions against sandpoint, and I could imagine you would be given a chance to work in the town. A decent wizard... could earn decent money for services."

Brandark Plainswalker |

Grimacing in a bit of pain Brandark looks over at her
Consider this your one free pass

GM Mazra |

Orik looks at Lyrie, "Lyrie you need to cooperate with them."
Lyrie gives Orik a sharp glance then sighs, "Nualia hired me because I know Thassilonian. Thisletop is the head of an ancient Sentinel statue. It had some sort of great magic weapon, but I have not found yet what that is. This whole section radiates some kind of ancient preservation magic. Nualia thought there is a being down here. She may have been right, but we have not found it."
The room to the north has wide stone ledges of red marble that line the curving walls of this room, which is well lit by four burning skulls that sit in each corner. Three chairs rest in the room, and both stone ledges are covered with old books, scrolls, teeth, bones, scrimshaw artwork, jars of deformed creatures soaking in brine, taxidermied animals and limbs, and other strange objects. To the north, a large round fountain flled with frothy blue water flls the room with the gentle sound of bubbling.

Brandark Plainswalker |

Brandark keeps an eye out on Kelvin. I think we should now fall back now that we have that young lady for him.
I miscalculated, my HP is now correct.

GM Mazra |

@Brandark - Did you apply the Channel Energies from Stone?
Kelvin will see that the room is quite comfortable. It has a nice view of the Varisian Gulf. Though the tilt can take a little to get used to. He will not find any additional traps. He will find a secret compartment in the red marble. In it is a chest, unlocked, with 120PP in it.
Kelvin will find the reset mechanism for the hallway trap in this room. It would not take much for Kelvin to get the trap working again.
The water in the basin looks amazingly fresh. Lyrie will inform the party that it is indeed fresh; as fresh as she has ever tasted. She will take a drink to prove it to the party.
Over the course of several hours, you will find papers outlining all of Nualia's nefarious schemes including future planned raids on Sandpoint. She wanted to set up the Cathedral of Wrath as a base to bring a Sinspawn army into the world. Though she hadn't figured out yet how to keep it from depleting. She knew it had limited powers, but she also believed it could be maintained; just exactly how had eluded her. And finally she mentions a Malfeshnekor in her writings. It is a name of an entity that she still believes lives within Thistletop, though she has not figured out yet how to release him. She seemed to be obsessed by this.
On Nualia's body, you will find a Breastplate, a Bastard Sword, the composite longbow, some arrows, a medallion, a gold holy symbol, 7PP and 5 GP.

Brandark Plainswalker |

I did, but then got hit by a 19 point slash from that bastard sword, I was at 31 prior to that hit. I will also update the treasure sheet when I get back from work in the morning.

Brandark Plainswalker |

As his injuries start to close, Brandark looks at Stone.
I thank the lady, and her through you.

Elektra Stardancer |

Looking at Lyrie Elektra smiles. "How about you take all the notes with you, but agree to make a copy for me. Second, we seek a fine corner and trade spells. I think that could be to our mutual benefit! For the moment I think Orik can guard you, if you want, to see that we accept your.... surrender."
Taking a moment Elektra tries to discern the magical properties.
Spellc: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (12) + 14 = 26 Medallion
Spellc: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (3) + 14 = 17 Armor
Spellc: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (2) + 14 = 16 Weapon

GM Mazra |

The observation room to the North appears to be a relatively safe place to rest.
Lyrie's spell book: invisibility, mirror image, shatter, comprehend languages, burning hands, detect secret doors, foating disc, grease, identify, locate object, mage armor, minor image, obscuring mist, ray of enfeeblement, see invisibility, sleep, and spider climb.

Elektra Stardancer |

I would trade her Create pit, Summon Monster 2, Detect thoughts and would like invisibility mirror image, shatter, floating disc, locate object, see invisibility and spider climb, even willing to donate 10 gm per spell level.

Brandark Plainswalker |

My faith has always carried me through, I thank you for the healing
Brandark looks as the cut on his shoulder and chest knits shut.

Garrath Tricks the Giants |

Garrath grins, "Your faith, and that you're tougher than a gristly piece of bear meat!"

Brandark Plainswalker |

Brandark chuckles Aye, that might also have something to do with it.

Elektra Stardancer |

I think we can have a longer chat first. I mean, yes they told us much, but for one the wizards will have some work to do, smile, and b we would talk about her findings and a few more infos about their backstory. Last but not least.. better have them close now.

Brandark Plainswalker |

I just happen to think that we have a semi safe place to rest, and then we can get a fresh start. Without worrying about something showing up in the morning while we are camped here.
