I did double move twice now? Shouldn´t I be very close to the enemy? 2x15x2=60 feet.Especially as it seems as if there is a decent path in the middle. Well if not I am dead!


@Ulfgard - Your previous post indicated you were moving behind Kaos. In the sludge and muck it cost 10 feet to move 5 feet. Are you taking a double move past Kaos this round?

Edit:Round One Kaos moves ahead casting a shield spell (15 actual feet). Round Two double move 30 more feet for a total of 45 actual feet moved. Forty along the walkway for Kaos, who was initially behind you and then moved ahead. This is just the third round.

Can Ulfgard double move close to the enemy. If no he will grab a potion and wait till Ragnir moves before him, as Ragnir is better armored.


You can move 6 squares in the current round. That would put you 15 feet short of reaching the enemy.

This is hands-down one of the best defences I have seen in an AP so far for a single creature encounter. It is two challenge ratings over your level.

The wood plank walkway is two feet deep in muck and is a double move per square. The AP doesn't say what it is like off the five-foot-wide path. So I am treating it as four times movement if off the five-foot-wide path. Like I said, she has a good setup defensively.

You are right on the square.

As Ragnir pushes he way along the bilge walkway, he comes across yet another trap.

Ragnir DC 13 Reflex Save if Failed:
The trap constricts around Ragnir's legs holding him in place. As a full round action you can escape the trap with a DC 13 Escape Artist or DC 25 Strength Check.


Kaos was at -4 until Haskyll's Channel brought him up to +6. Kaos is conscious and can pull himself out of the muck.

The Intruder is lethal with a bow. Her next arrow critically strikes Kaos. Kaos falls into the muck and sludge.

The next two arrows strike Ulfgard, but the Dwarf withstood the injuries.

Haskyll moves up next to Kaos and channels more healing energies.

Kaos pulls himself out of the muck and drinks a potion.

Anga sends again a Scorching Ray at the Intruder. The Dwarf Mage slips in the muck and misses her attack. The ray strikes the wood door, but the wet door does not set fire.

Ragnir pushes ahead of the party. He encounters yet another trap hidden under the muck. But the Dwarf Warpriest manages to avoid the peril.

Full Defense is a Standard Action. So you would get a regular move action or 10 feet through the muck.

The Intruder was not nearly as effective against the more heavily armored Ragnir. She does manage to hit the Dwarf Warpriest with an arrow.

Anga lobs a blob of molten goo at the Intruder. It hits the archer and sets her on fire.

Shield of Faith +2 to AC A ghost like sign of an iron hammer briefly appears, and seems to be absorbed into the dwarf's shield.
