Some of us never played through Paizo's first adventure path, as a result we've decided to play it! Using the optional rules from Pathfinder Unchained we may see some interesting things that no one else ever has.

Godsalm finishes his song with a rousing verse about the unrivaled prowess of Desnian priests and Dwarven stonelords smashing through legions of goblins. Ending song as a free action 6/7 rounds left

As the last strains of his song echos through the square, he steps forward towards the last remaining goblin, waving his flag in the air.
Not doing anything, just flavor and a move action.

Obviously quite concerned about the dangers of the situation, Kiera seems to hem and haw momentarily; then she draws her dagger and holds it in front of her warily, taking a guarding pose. She looks about to the other people drawing axes and other weapons, and noticing the goblin coming close to her position, she utters a strange phrase and gestures with her left hand.

Casting daze on the nearest goblin; DC 14 Will save or it loses its next turn.

having figured out the map link, I think it's kinda time to move to the next set of goblins due south when it's my turn Seeing more of the green beasts across the square, Volkar moves that direction with his ax at the ready.

I believe it is the next turn now, so will post my go just in case. Also means I can't hold it up while I go to bed.

I wrench my axe free of the now dead goblins chest and turn to face the remaining Goblin, to suddenly see that more have turned up. With fresh blood still dripping off of the head of my axe I charge at the nearest Goblin, with axe raised and bring it down in a crimson arc on the first Goblin I encounter.

War-Axe Attack : 1d20 + 4 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 4 + 2 + 1 = 10

But with the raised Axe I get a bit of blood in my face which puts my aim slightly off, but luckily the Goblin is now sprayed with the blood of his own kind.

AC is still set for Charge penalties.


Chaos has engulfed Sandpoint. Goblins race everywhere, running amok and singing and slashing indiscriminately. At the point the
[you] seem about ready to take action, a sudden bloom of
fire from a nearby unattended wagon or cart [grabs your] attention.

CREATURES: A group of goblins has found the cart full
of fuel for the sunset bonfire just south of the festival
grounds and has lit it on fire. Even if the PCs don't
rush to investigate the burning wagon, they are soon
confronted with several cackling and shrieking goblins
armed with dogslicers and torches.

Volkar moves forward, and as he does so, sees the rise of smoke and maniacal laughter of goblins swarming about the burning remains of one of the wagons. He takes out one of the catalyst vials with one hand and with the other he pulls out one of his lassies shoving the vial into the glass and metal orb. Doing so, he realizes could leave him open to the attempted attack of a goblins rusted blade, but such a gaggle of the green skins is too tempting of a target.

When all is ready, and being about ten dwarven paces away, he tosses the bomb at larger goblin in the group hoping for a burst that splashes him and anyone immediately about him.

The cart itself is full of flammable objects, designed to burn over a long time.

On mobile right now, so I can't mess with the map.
The war chanter is first, he moves and starts performance to inspire his goblin friends.
The other two goblins playfully walk up to the two dwarves, and start waving their torches at them.
Daelric is next.

I look around to make sure there is no one that is in danger of the burning cart and when I am happy enough that there is no threat to anyone I turn back to face the Goblin waving the torch in front of me and bring my axe down, trying to cleft the vermin in twain.

Perception : 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (3) + 8 = 11
War-Axe Attack : 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18
War-Axe Damage : 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10

I am only taking the standard action this round; for the attack, I am using the move action for the Perception to look for civilians in danger.

Casting daze again on the nearest goblin target; since it's short range I'm moving toward the goblins, though I want to keep the dwarves between me and them!

No more Gobbies on the map..

As more goblins rush the square, Godsalm begins to sing again, while waving his banner high. This song is about the bawdry escapades of a conquering hero as the towns women practically throw themselves at him. He laughs and calls out "This may well be us tomorrow night!"

ACTIVE BUFFS:
Flag bearer: +1/+1, +1 vs fear and charm effects. Inspire Courage: +1/+1, +1 vs charm and fear effects. TOTAL +2/+2, +2 vs fear and charm.

Waiting on the goblin. The crossbow is a light crossbow so re-loading won't take my entire turn.


I am not getting a lot of cooperation from this map, is everyone okay with a theatre of the mind setup in the future? I will try to get a better map set up that we can all use.

There are two more goblins, plus the warchanter right now.

I have been playing on mobile recently, so I haven't had time to mess with the map enough to show you where everyone and thing is, I have approximated everyone's location based on their descriptions of their actions.

The goblin sees his friend slain, and realizes that this is not play time, he draws his doglsicer (which provkes from both Daelric and Volkar) and attempts to swing at the dwarf who killed the other goblin here.
dogslicer attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20
potential damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
(this attack doesn't happen if either of you slay him first)

Posting out of order so you all know what the next two turns are in case.
Next the warchanter moves so that he is 10ft out from Daelric and is using his whip to attempt to trip him.
Whip Trip Maneuver: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 1 = 13

The next goblin is dazed.

I watch the vile green vermin slowly draw his sword and goad me into attacking it, which it easily dodges and manages to get passed my defenses, stabbing the cruel and twisted blade deep into my side. "Two Goblins, both get me in the same place ... I definitely need to get myself that nice big armour."

Not only does the creature manage to strike me, their boss also lashes his whip at me and it ties around my angle, he tugs hard but luckily it is not strong enough to severe my strong connection with the ground. In response I take my axe, step towards the boss and try to repay the favour, by swinging my axe for it's legs.

Attack of Opportunity : 1d20 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 4 + 2 = 9

But the Goblin manages to jump over my blade in a fit of laughter. "Bran Grobkaz!"

Dwarven:
"Clever Goblin!"

If the Warchief is dead by my turn, I shall do the attack on the next closest Goblin.
