Starting to get it. You posted the list of who's first, second, etc...then posted Eberk's turn. Didn't realize he had two attacks already. I'll probably change my whole way of thinking when it is my turn. If I can't reach them in this round, then I obviously can't trip them. I'm trying to research everything before I post but there's so much I don't have figured out, it's difficult.

I don't mind you picking goblin if you want. The first snatches of the language you might have heard were actually too muffled to understand. Or if you want your character to have a fighting chance with arcane magic (if you developed Use Magic Device as a skill, for instance), I think Draconic can come in handy as well.
Make the choice now, though. And let me know if your action is to attack the goblin while he's standing in the wagon, or to wait on him, or to run, etc. You have won the initiative.

For all buy Yod
I shout "Ishah heel" and advance 5' forward to square L13. I then throw a dagger at the gnome Eberk just missed...range = 10'.
18(roll) +1(Attack Bonus)
Assuming that hits, damage roll is 4.
Hope that was all the modifiers I was supposed to supply and that all of that was possible, legal and in my turn.

Keep in mind that the wagon is still attached by harness to what you now perceive as a donkey. The real question is, do you think you could overturn the wagon? Is this what you attempt?
Also, what language are you choosing of those that are offered as bonus languages?

spoiler for ABY (All But Yod)
Eberk's followthrough doesn't quite land, but does take the leering grin off the goblin's face.
Cha's dagger whizzes by Eberk's ear and embeds in the cornerpost of the house behind the goblin. It cackles madly and parries a further blow from Eberk.
Sari's mage armor spell completes. I still have you at N12. I think row M would be towards the enemy, so I didn't move you.
One goblin moves to K12 and swipes clumsily at Cha with it's cleaver-like weapon. This stupid creature is carrying a weapon that looks ludicrously heavy for the size of its wielder.
Eberk, the goblin before you takes a stab and has a +14 vs your AC. I don't have your character sheet, so I don't know your stats.
Can you connive chuck into doing one of the PDF sheets for your character and sending it?
Assuming that misses, it is Eberk's turn again.
Map update inbound.

Yod Akarn |

For DM
So I was in K-11 and you said I needed to move into J-12 to attack to prone goblin, but I ended up in J-13 ?? I would have rather moved back next to the wagon K-11 once I realized that there were a bunch of goblins in the wagon, just to keep them from throwing spears or something at me.
So PLAN-A, if I can be in K-11 I can lift 800 lbs overhead or push or pull 2000 lbs I'll try to topple the wagon hopefully smushing at least a few goblins in the process roll D20 =16 + STR =5 total 21. Can I then still move??
If thats not a possibility...
Plan-B, after switching to my short sword realizing that there are a bunch of goblins in the wagon. I'd like to move to I-12 and then attack the goblin as he leaves the wagon. If I can't move and still attack then I'll wait on him to get out into J-12 and try to whack him,
then move towords E-11 I think thats 30' I want to go I guess it's North? up the map. I probably should wait, attack, then move to E-11
Let me know if any of that works !!

DM Luke |

spoiler for Yod
Nope. The goblin that fell out of the wagon is in J12. I took him off the map since he was a non-combatant and you could now freely move through his space.
However you could have attacked from K12, so I'll retcon you back to that spot for your action.
You hurry forward to the near side of the wagon, reach under the carriage and heave with everything your legs and back have to give. Your muscles feed on the adrenaline pumping through you and the wagon goes over with a dozen scratchy cries of confused rage. The donkey brays as the harness snaps and he bucks his way clear of the toppling vehicle.
From the other side of the cart comes the sound of ripping canvas and much scrurrying. Two bruised goblins round the back of the wagon (which is now laying on its side) and come to a stop when they see you.
A map update is one the way, and it is your turn again.

Eberk Ungart |

I am having map difficulties. I can not seem to open the map,it keeps saying there is an error. But anyway, I would like to move towards the most goblins so I can cleave if the oppertunity presents itself. If there is no need to move I will wait untill after I attack to go toward other goblins if I need to.
I do not know if I still have +1 to my str for my drunk swagger. So here goes, I have rolled a 14 + 5 attack bonus + 1 for Goblin hater. Total of 20. Assuming this hits My damage is d10+4 (+5 if I still have my swagger) I have rolled an 8+4=12(or 13). Don't forget I have cleave.
I will work on getting you my character sheet on way or the other.

DM Luke |

Did you intend the Bluff check to be a feint, or an Intimidate check?
FYI. The feint is a cool combat move we haven't used much that essentially makes the opponent flat-footed next round (with sneak attack bonus applicable). It takes your standard action, so you can still move but no attacking this round.
The intimidate is an attempt to Demoralize, which will make your opponent shaken for 1 round. It also takes away your attack. You get a +4 size bonus vs little goblin kin on this check.

DM Luke |

for aby
Not fair. I miss even with no shield? Okay - well the goblin's rusty cleaver just whizzes by.
Your answering blow takes the creature's head off cleanly. It sails across the street and lands among piles of dirty crockery stacked up from the feast. Two goblins on the other side of the street think this is hilarious, and begin gleefully smashing the rest of the stack, ignoring everything else around them.
Your profile has a Str listing of 18. The +1 only brings you to 19, which won't translate to a +5. You need a 20.
You cannot cleave - per the map you cannot see. An update is on the way as a jpg this time :) You've killed the goblin at J15 and I'm moving you to J13. You have a move-equivalent left if you want it once you see the map, since I only moved you 5'.
Ishah and then Cha are up...

Goblin Horde |

Sung to the tune of Purple Haze
Goblins race and Goblins jump.
Goblins slash and Goblins bump.
Burn the skin and mash the head,
Goblins here and you be dead.
Followed by a terrible choral screeching coming from a couple female goblin-kin scattered here and there among the horde like little comissars. The massed warriors seem to get really excited by the singing...

i dont need them to be anything but close enough to hit, D6+5 should kill any goblin i see, I think i'd rather just take my 19 init and run for it if thats ok to change my turn? sound like too much trouble in this town for me! Move to S-20 or beyond if i can go through M-13 and N-14 i will, if not then i'll take the AOO from the goblin at K-14 as i go by heading for S-20 as far as i can get running, maybe off the map?

Ishah heel!
roll is a 3 + 7 (Handle Animal) DC is 10.
I attempt an Improved Trip on the goblin.
Roll is 11 + 1(str) +4(feat bonus) +4(size modifier) = 20
If that works, I'll attack with my sickle.
Roll is 10 +1(attack bonus) = 11, he's at a -4 to AC.
If it happens to hit...
Roll is 5 + 1(str)=6
If none of that works, I attempt to take candy from the nearest baby

Not so fast my pasty half-orc friend. I'm making you stick to one of your original choices, and since you were just creating ambience, I'm going with the advance and attack.
Your first thought was to kill and that's exactly what you do. You lunge forward at the startled goblin and run him through. He has a very disappointed look on his face as he slides off your sword.
As a compromise, I moved you in a round about fashion to L15 before your attack.
The other goblin screeches in fury, closes with you, and stabs at you with his blade. He misses by a wide mark. Behind him, up the street towards the festival is pure bedlam. The goblins you dumped out of the wagon are charging into the panicked crowd. It appears that the crowd was already trying to flee the plaza, and has now been turned back to the north.
You see several of the goblins attempting to push a cart laden with kindling into the tent-packed plaza. One of them brandishes a torch.
It is your turn again, and a map update is on the way.

DM Luke |

spoiler for aby
mmmm. Candy corn.
You almost have the Trip rule right. You must succeed at an touch attack first. Your total should be 11 + 1 (attack bonus) = 12, which hits the goblin's touch AC.
Your low sweeping sickle catches the creature behind the heel. You give a great yank...
You rolled a 10 + 4 (Improved Trip) +4 (size mod) + 1 (Str) = 19, which beats my Strength check
The goblin comes up off the ground in spectacular fashion (I rolled a 1), landing on its head. You need to make a third roll for your followup attack. It is at -4 AC for being prone.

DM Luke |

for ABY
True enough. But there are benefits to the trip itself (if successfull) that outlive the round. The tripped creature is at an attack and defense disadvantage against all threatening enemies until it stands. When it stands, it provokes an attack of opportunity from all threatening opponents. It's a complicated rule, but can be a pretty successfull tactic
The sharpened point of your sickle pierces the goblin's leather chest piece and sternum as well. The monster squeals its death scream.
The three goblins have been dispatched in quick succession. The three of you (four counting Ishah) clustered in the street are an island in a sea of chaos. Goblins chase all manner of folk through the streets, smashing merchandise and slashing tents and rope lines in wanton fashion. Here and there are isolated armed townsfolk, defending themselves or their merchandise from the wicked little creatures.
Behind the party, in the plaza before the stage, a group of gobins is pushing a wagon filled with kindling for tonight's bonfire into the collection of tents. One of them carries a burning torch.
Above all the other sounds in the street you now finally hear the distant ringing of the town watch muster bell. From the looks of it, they are going to have their hands more than full.
At the immediate moment, the party is not being attacked. You have a moment or two to figure out your next move. There are hostiles in every direction, but the most conspicuous are those about to light up tent city behind you.

Yod Akarn |

For DM
Well then attack the goblin in K-15 I will, Init = roll=11 + init=3 total = 14 if I need another Init roll that is
Atk roll 13 + atk 5 total 18, damage D6+5 roll 3 + 5 = 8 piercing.
then move I would, towards the wagon or the next nearest goblin but i dont see anything else on my map yet, i would try to sneak up on whatever i can get to. Hide roll= 8 + skill= 6 total 14,
move silently roll=11 + skill=6 total 17

DM Luke |

spoiler for Yod
You do not need another initiative roll.
You spin on your new adversary, pinning him through the throat with an unexpected lunge. He collapses to the ground and you step over him to the shelter of the wagon.
Looking up the street, you see a small horde of goblins - perhaps 15 in all - all with their backs to you as their attention is fixed on the festival uphill. The female seems to be hanging back, and continuing the war chant as her fellows charge up the hill into the crowd. She keeps one warrior on a short leash - apparently as a bodyguard. At least one man who came to the festival armed has turned to face the onrushing goblins at the crowd's edge.
The town watch muster bell begins tolling somewhere in town off to your left.
New map on the way, your hide roll is in effect. The wagon with the kindling is already inside the plaza itself, which is off your map to the north and east.

DM Luke |

spoiler for aby
Sari, the goblin with the torch (at O3 on the map you're getting) is easily within range, as is every other goblin you see around you. You are up in the initiative - so looking at it this way, you get to go first!
On the map, the tent labeled A in yellow is Sari's family's tent. The tent labeled B is the tent Eberk is ostensibly guarding.

Sari |

for ABY
I hurl a magic missile at the goblin next to the wagon. That leaves me 9 spell points I believe, 13 to begin with, -2 for mage armor, -2 for this spell. Three points of damage to the little cretin. I then move to the tent with the big sheriff green A stamped on the top to check my family. My movement is 30. I intend to assess their status and convince them to go somewhere safer....is there somewhere safer? With this accomplished, I would rejoin my new friends.

DM Luke |

for aby
Your missile winds its way through the chaos and finds the intended mark. The goblin yelps in pain, and the arcane power leaves it smoldering, but it does not collapse nor does it drop its brand.
You get to the tent to find your sister hiding under a small table covered with trinkets. Your father and uncle have apparently escorted your mother somewhere safer (hopefully).
The goblin with the torch lofts it into the wagon, but they do not make much progress moving the thing. It takes light and begins to burn vigorously.
The goblins take move actions, so a new map is on the way again. Eberk is up.

Yod Akarn |

For DM
how close can I get being stealthy, Looks like about 55'. Hide still good? Move silently check roll= 15 + skill= 6 total 21. Maybe a double move with no attack? Or just get close enough that I could move and attack next round? Let me know.

DM Luke |

spoiler for Yod
You can move up to double your full movement by taking a -5 penalty to your Move Silently. There's not enough cover for you to make a credible Hide check. So your total Move Silently of 16 is opposed by my 18 Spot check.
You skirt around the wagon and try to use the shade under the eaves of the buildings on the left side of the street as cover for your approach. The guard goblin turns at the last moment and sees you. His yelp of surprise alerts the female as well.
The warrior goblin steps in and aims a wicked slice at you that pierces your forearm painfully (2 points of damage). The female continues to sing her nasty little ditty as she slides further to your left and aims a cut at you. You lurch away from her best blow.
Your turn. Map on the way.

DM Luke |

spoiler for ABY
By running, you lose the benefit of your dexterity to your AC, meaning that Eberk's AC drops from 16 to 14 (you also do not have your shield).
Cha - I think your first roll is fine for a continuous command until circumstances change somehow. Also, since this is a mundane command in my mind, you can 'take 10' on the roll, with no chance of failure. More offensive or sophisticated commands might merit a roll on each attempt.
Cha and Eberk barrel down the street - passing Sari and her sister like a hurricane. The goblin in L6 lashes out with his crude weapon and draws Dwarven blood (3 points of damage). The goblin in J5 misses Cha badly enough that his weapon's tip breaks off on the curb.
The goblin that threw the torch into the wagon rushes across the plaza and attacks Cha, but also draws nothing but air.
It's Eberk's turn.

DM Luke |

Aby - make a Spot check.
If you meet or beat DC 12
The goblin in P2 lifts another lit brand from the burning wagon and turns towards the nearby tents.

Sari should pick me as I am most effecient at killing singing goblins. I also pinch hit when my husband is not around to rescue her or the dm. Pick me, pick me!!!

Cha tuk |

For ABY
This is probably out of turn, but I'm assuming that even if Eberk gets a cleave, the outcome won't affect what's happening on my side, so I'll post it now when I have the chance.
Made my spot check. Rolled an 18. I too yell for Sari to get the one with the torch. I initiate an improved trip with a sickle on the goblin at J5
touch attack roll is 17 + 1.
trip roll is a 14 + 1(str) +4(feat) +4(size) = 23.
If that succeeds...
attack roll is a 13 +1 = 14. Defender is at -4 to AC.
And if we manage to get through all that and I'm still swinging,
damage roll is 6+1=7.
Nice! Hope this rolling keeps up a little longer. If all that manages to work, I'm not moving, just standing my ground until the next round.

DM Luke |

spoiler for Yod
This medium is slow enough that everyone can keep track of hit points. You currently have 5 hit points left.
You stab with intent at the gobliness but she is able to spring aside and you fail to connect.
The gobliness attacks you and connects with a slash of her crude blade (rolled a 20 but failed to confirm). You take another 2 points of damage. Her goblin guard takes a 5' step to flank you and attacks, but his attack is so clumsy that he nearly hits his mistress. She barks an angry command at him.
The goblin that was in M3 has moved to N2.
It is your turn again.

DM Luke |

for Aby
Eberk connects with a powerful axe swipe that splits his goblin opponent from @$$hole to appetite. You absolutely get to make a cleave attack against the goblin in L6.
Your armor class went back up to 16 when your action ceased to be run (as soon as you attacked just now). Think of it like raging or fighting defensively. It is a condition created by and lasting as long as the condition of running, which you did continuously from the moment you declared the action until the time that you declared your most recent attack.

DM Luke |

spoiler for Aby
Cha's action will not hinge on the result of Eberk's clave attack, so I'll go ahead and resolve it...
The lethal combo of Cha and Eberk continues. Cha sweeps another of the little beasties of its feet and plants the tip of his sickle in its neck.
We're still pending Eberk's cleave, but if Sari chooses to declare an action independent of Eberk's attack, she may go.

Sari |

Dear Aby,
I take a 5 foot step forward to square H9 and get off a magic missile on the nasty beast that seems to be intent on burning tents. 9 spell points minus 2 equals 7 left for the day. My roll is 2 +1 for a total of 3 points of damage.
I intend to stay behind My Favorite Meat Shields and continue to use my final points singeing goblin parts. For the second part of my turn, I ready my short spear, just in case.

DM Luke |

Your missile weaves its way down the street and through an open-aired vendor's tent before smiting the goblin with the torch.
We await Eberk's cleavage.

DM Luke |

Sari, I wasn't clear about the effect of the Magic Missile. It hits and appears to daze the goblin for a moment, but he remains upright and retains his grip on the torch.

DM Luke |

You stab the creature in the heart, ending her annoying song with a long drawn out death squeal. Her guard howls in terror and turns from you to run howling up the hill.
New map on the way.
Looking up the hill, you see two goblins in the street between you and the plaza, the one running from you (K2) and one fighting a citizen in the street (N5). At the top of the hill, in the plaza itself, there is a wagon of kindling that is now ablaze. A goblin at the rear of the wagon lifts a burning brace from the blaze and turns towards one of the many merchant tents in the plaza.
It looks like there's a raging fight in the plaza between the goblin band and a group of armed citizens.
It is your turn.
