For Dumah:
As a Templar of the Five Winds, you know he is really a janni, who with 4 others like him, fought and defeated the efreeti Jhavhul and his minions in the shadows of the Brazen Peaks and all of their weapons were crafted for said purpose. You also suspect that he may have some resistance to fire, but your sphere seems to burn hot enough to burn him. If not, he wouldn't be avoiding it.

Eli continues to shout of the valor of Brebork as he luges left and right trying to confuse the giant as to which way his attack will come.

I forgot to add Inspire Courage to last rounds attack. Would you add one more point of damage dealt from that arrow, DM?

Tyronel shoots two more arrows at the rampaging giant.

Round 3

Spoiler:

Dumah will cast Grease on Kardswann's greataxe. Reflex DC 15 or drop it, followed by problems picking it up again.
Move action: move the sphere into his square before it winks out of existance. Damage 3d6 + 1 ⇒ (4, 4, 6) + 1 = 15, Reflex DC 16 to avoid.

male Human Cleric 5

Bahiyy will channel positive energy, excluding Kardswann from the area. He then starts to make his way stealthy over to Quzman, trying not to draw any attention from Kardswann or the crowd.

Channel energy 2d6 ⇒ (3, 5) = 8

What are Garvel and the archers doing while this is going on?

They're watching the fight, making sure the 10 gnolls do not get involved. If they get involved in your fight, then the 10 gnolls can as well.

Summary of Round 2:

Dumah moved flaming sphere, summoned boar
Boar tried to gore genie but missed
Kardswann moved up, hit Quzman twice, causing him to fall
Quzman bled
Tyronel shot twice, hit once, irking the genie more
Eli feinted the genie but did not crit, wounding him
Bahiyy moved and channeled energy (Quzman is still unconscious though almost all of the wound on his back has closed up)

The boar attempts to gore the genie: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6..but its attack misses.

Kardswann pulls the arrow from his shoulder and looks at Tyronel. "You like shooting arrows, eh?" He flies over Eli and the boar...drawing attacks of opportunity.

Boar: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9...misses

He lands right in front of Tyronel and brings his mighty greataxe to bear on the human with all his might, nearly splitting the archer in two, causing a massive gashing wound on his shoulder (23 pts of damage to Tyronel!) The gnolls scream with fervor upon seeing the party getting waylaid, as Tyronel screams in pain!

Sigh...two character deaths already!

Free action drop the bow. Move action draw the greatsword. Standard action take one last swing before I go! And check my actions. I think I can do this in one round, but I might be incorrect.

Tyronel buckled upon being sliced to the core by Kardswann's axe. He dropped his bow, and pulled his sword, swinging at the monster.

Attack 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13
Damage 2d6 + 4 ⇒ (2, 4) + 4 = 10

Seeing that his swing had no effect, Ty yells out, "How about a little help down here, harpy!?"

Summary of Round 3:

Boar tried to gore genie but missed
Kardswann flew over Eli and the boar, drawing a painful AoO from Eli (crit confirmed), then struck Tyronel, nearly killing him
Quzman continued to bleed

Bahiyy moved and channeled energy, healing all, and awakening Quzman and Eli, who are prone with no weapons.

Thanks! Could I get an updated map at the end of this round/start of next?

Initiative Round 4:
Dumah: 19
Boar: 19 (5/18)

Protection from Evil on Eli: +2 AC (16 more rounds)
Shield on Dumah: +4 AC (16 more rounds)

Updated Battle Map..the wolf is the boar!

Kardswann laughs, "The almost dead archer and the wizard are all that are left!" The gnolls cry out his name, seeing the genie's victory as imminent!

Round 4

Spoiler:
Okay, I don’t hold much hope of this working, but it is worth a shot. Dumah wants to cast Web, centered midpoint between the floor and ceiling directly above Kardswann and anchored with the floor and the ceiling. That should leave at least a 10’x10’ patch surviving between the floor and ceiling, centered on him. It would be Reflex 16 or be grappled. Web Spell

If Dumah doesn’t believe this would work anchored like that, then he’ll cast Grease instead, DC 15 Reflex save to hold onto his axe.

He will shout Never count out the wizard! He's is feeling emboldened, suspecting strongly that he will not survive the demon fever that still ravages his body.

Sure, I could see the Web spell work that way (the floor and ceiling are 2 diametrically opposed points. The area covered is this: Area of Effect

Kardswann Reflex Save: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (18) + 7 = 25...so he's in the web with cover. What does Eli tell the Boar to do?

HP 63/63; AC: 25(23)/15/21(19); F+7/R+9/W+4; Init: +3 (+5); Percep: +11 (+13)

Quzman, bloodied and in severe pain, gasps quietly as he regains consciousness. He knows that in his current shape, he couldn't take another one of those vicious hits, so he grabs a vial from his pouch and downs the contents.

Potion CMW:2d8 + 3 ⇒ (4, 3) + 3 = 10

Sorry, I meant Dumah. The boar will ready a charge if it sees the genie.

The genie will attempt to break through the webbing, but since it is difficult terrain, he draws an AoO from Tyronel. Then Kardswann screams, "Stop using magics!" and brings his axe to bear on Dumah....and despite the wizard's spells of Mage Armor and Shield, the might swing pierces the defenses, savagely slashing the wizard across the chest, knocking him back 3 feet, to the ground, a blood pool covering the sand where Dumah's body landed. The party, through the strands of the web, is unsure of whether the wizard lives or not!

CMB: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (3) + 14 = 17
Attack: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (17) + 11 = 28

Updated Combat Map

Eli grabs Tempest and stands up.

"Nooooooo!" is the scream the party hears, as Haleen sees Dumah's body lying on the sand. Her hands glows and she runs up next to him and falls to her knees, touching him. He opens his eyes and sees tears running down her cheeks. "You'll pay for that, you little bi*ch!" As Kardswann's large shadow looms over the battlefield, Haleen turns to him from her knees, screaming, "You won't have him!", wielding the dagger in her hand.

male Human Cleric 5

Again the sneaky cleric is on the move, praying to Abadar for help and guidance. This is insane, these thuoghts run through his mind, I hope I can help Dumah. And again, quietly passing prayers to Abadar as he channels positive energy.

Move stealthy to G10 Stealth: 1d20 - 5 + 20 ⇒ (13) - 5 + 20 = 28
Channel energy: 2d6 ⇒ (6, 2) = 8

Seeing kardswann focus on Dumah for a second, Ty used the opportunity to take a swing with his sword.

Greatsword AoO 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23

Damage 2d6 + 3 ⇒ (6, 3) + 3 = 12

And I am assuming I have been in range of the last two energy channels. If I am wrong, let me know. Now for my regular attack.

Seeing his last swing actually damaged the leader of the gnolls, Ty was inspired to keep striking.

Greatsword regular attack 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10

Damage 2d6 + 3 ⇒ (2, 2) + 3 = 7

Summary of Round 4:

Dumah cast web
Boar readied an action to charge genie
Kardswann ripped through the webbing, took a powerful AoO from Tyronel, and dropped the wizard
Quzman pulled out a potion and drank it remaining prone
Tyronel swung his greatsword, but the blow was deflected
Eli stood up and grabbed his sword
Bahiyy moved and channeled energy, healing all

Kardswann is bleeding pretty badly and looks ready to attack Tyronel for that AoO.

Initiative Round 5:
Dumah: 19 (8/18)
Boar: 19 (13/18)
Kardswann: 14 (-57 hps)
Quzman: 12 (20/31)
Eli: 11 (9/23)
Tyronel: 11 (18/29)
Bahiyy: 6

Spell effects:
Shield of Faith on Quzman: +2 AC (4 more rounds left)
Protection from Evil on Eli: +2 AC (15 more rounds)
Shield on Dumah: +4 AC (15 more rounds)

Dumah is up! If he wants to cast a spell, he must make a concentration check (DC 15 + double the level of the spell you're casting) to succeed since you're in a threatened square. You lose the spell if you fail. However, you receive +11 to your Concentration check roll due to feat, Int, and level.

Dumah is going to try Burning Hands.

Concentration check 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (1) + 11 = 12

Son of a &*^%$

Make that "Dumah is going to flail around impotently while burning a spell slot."

Interesting, went with Burning Hands, knowing he's resistant to fire, instead of Grease. Didn't matter, didn't make the Concentration check anyway.

Kardswann ignores the wizard's ineptness and focuses on Tyronel. He swings his greataxe with care and precision, unlike his previous attacks where he swung as hard as he could and connects, slashing Tyronel in the gut, but miraculously, the archer still stands..barely, despite the blood leaving his body! Kardswann smiles and admires the warrior's grit, but decides to end his life anyway, and he swings again, but Tyronel deflects the poorly swung blow!

Attack: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (10) + 14 = 24; Damage: 2d8 + 10 ⇒ (3, 4) + 10 = 17
Attack: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10

Eli sees Tyronel about to pass out and shouts words of encouragement as he runs to join the fray, "He's almost down, wait for me to flank him!" Eli moves to I13 and thanks to cover provided by the Web, draws no Attacks of Opportunity, and so Eli is able to sneak attack and Tyronel gets +2 hit due to flank!

The gnoll crowd goes quiet, knowing the warriors have the bloodied genie in an advantageous position. The harpy, Garavel, and the archers watch with bated breath, as the warriors prepare to strike. Kardwann is indignant and eyes both opponents, hoping to block their blows, still in shock he could not bring the archer down. The music builds....

I'm not sure what his resistance is. If it is only 5, then Dumah had a chance to hurt him with the spell and with the web catching fire. I considered grease, but he has a decent reflex save, and that would mean he'd have to use his bonded object recall. I'm considering using that for Magic Missile, just for some guaranteed damage.

Makes more sense now, cool!

Eli screams "For Brebork!" and moves to impale the genie with Tempest in his back. He thrusts the rapier forth and the blade punctures the genie's abdomen, coming out the front! Kardswann screams in pain and falls to his knees, gasping for air, as he drops his greataxe.

Attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27; Damage: 2d6 ⇒ (5, 4) = 9
Threat confirmation: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27; Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 2...2 20's in a row! 1 in 400 chance!

Eli says in an otherworldly voice, "Rest now brother!" As he pulls the blade out, a wave of cold seeps from the blade, tinting the genie's skin blue and he falls face first down to the sand. When Eli looks at the blade, it seems sharper than before (1d8 damage instead of 1d6) and also constantly emits an aura of frost.

Congrats! You are all now 4th level!!

The remaining gnolls gasp when they see Kardswann's giant form fall to the arena floor and shrink. They run in terror from the Battle Market. Garavel and the archers shoot them down and in the end, only a couple manage to escape the slaughter, possibly only long enough to be victims of the cruel desert.

Undrella flies down and congratulates the party on its victory and awaits the town's verdict on whether she can stay or not in Kelmarane.

Garavel congratulates the party immensely for their bravery and immediately leaves with the archers to let the caravan know of the good news.

Bahiyy casts his Locate Object spell, which leads him to his old equipment and the tribe's treasure trove which includes the following, which over the next days, the party identifies:

Silver masterwork flute (worth 130 gp)
4 large garnets worth 400 gp each
3459 gp
Ring of protection +1
Cloak of resistance +1
Masterwork chainmail
+1 dagger
Wand of bull’s strength (8 charges)
4 applications of silversheen
Amulet of natural armor +1

Masterwork breastplate (on Kardswann)
+1 lawful outsider bane Greataxe (on Kardswann)
Potions: Mage armor, Magic fang, blur, cat’s grace, invisibility, spider climb, and haste

Enjoy!

male Human Cleric 5

With the combat being over, his hriends still alive Bahiyy becomes visible again. He sighs in relief that no-one has died. "Praise be to Abadar," he calls out, "who protected us against our enemies." Happy it is over he runs over to Haleen, in disbelief he mutters,"Haleen, it is really you? What happened, how did you get caught by them?" So many questions, and he cannot grasp the fact to meet his sister here.

male Human Cleric 5

Later on he will approach the princess, "your highness, I want to thank you for your generosity in entrusting me your holy symbol of Abadar. Thanks to your help and the blessings of Abadar we were able to free this village." With this Bahiyy takes out the holy symbol and hands it back to the princess.

Clutching his robes around himself tightly, Dumah will go back to Haleen. You had been gone for stints before, but never that long. I asked everywhere, and no one knew where you'd gone. I thought I was ready and so I can to look for you...

Haleen happily hugs Bahiyy once she sees him. When she has a chance to speak, she says "Unfortunately, despite what my little brother and my charge may believe, I am far from perfect. I incurred some gambling debts in Katapesh that followed me to Solku. I heard there was some gold to be made fighting in the arena here so I left you, not wanting to put you in danger. I did well at first but the ogre defeated me and instead of eating me, kept me as a prize, but thankfully, my music soothed him so he kept me as a trophy and was quite enamored with me, but I was a prisoner. Thank you for saving me!"

male Human Cleric 5

Bahiyy gives her a big hug, then looks at her:"Gambling debt? You? No way!" He cannot believe that Haleen has gambling debts. What's more to come....?
"And I guess, you still are in debt? How much?"

She sheepishly says, "It was 2000 gp but it increased to 3000 gp with interest and I've paid 1000 gp back already! It's some awful unsavory guild in Katapesh, led by someone they call Father Jackal."

Dumah is momentarily stunned by the amount, but quickly recovers. We will deal with it, do not fear. Perhaps if we wipe out another maurading gnoll tribe or two we'll recover enough to cover that and then some!

male Human Cleric 5

"Ouch, but yeah, we will deal with it, seems now we have to take care of you." Bahiyy adds with a smile.

When the time comes to disucss Undrella's future Bahiyy will step up for her, that he wants her to stay. She has chosen them as her champions, and intervened so it was an arena combat, a full combat with gnolls in between could have ended disastrous.
