Background:

Quzman's hair is sandy and sun bleached with jet black eyes. He's wiry and lean from the long times spent surviving on the desert sands. His clothes are older, and regularly dusty, but well cared for. His twin scimitars hang at his hips with a quiver of arrows slung across his back and a short bow crossing over it. He has a slashing set of scars coming down over his right eye that he was given to him by a gnoll's claw when he was but a lad.

Quzman hates gnolls beyond anything else. Repeated gnoll assaults on his home tribe has cost him both of his parents, and many of his extended family. He does still have a living sister and brother to carry on the family name, but his burning desire to destroy anything gnollish has made him leave his tribe as it moved farther north away from the plentiful gnoll tribes early in life.

Quzman made his way to Katapesh, and Fort Longjaw, where he spent 2 glorious years hunting and slaughtering gnolls in service to the city. However, a serious mishap during his last mission landed him and his hunting partner in jail. Recently, a surprising benefactor, Garavel, managed to arrange for the release of Quzman and Kyra as long as they guard his caravan...and remove a gnollish infestation. That was all Garavel had to say, and Quzman was eager to get started.
