Apologies, all. I jumped the gun and thought I was ready to start back up. Clearly that's not yet the case. I'm back home now, but moving my wife in (and, exciting surprise, getting a better job) is occupying a good chunk of my time. I'm actually ready to get back into the swing of things now, but I'm only committing to one post per day for the next week or so. Thanks for your patience and for all the congratulations and well-wishes.

ok, logistics time. Yay! The tunnels are ~5' tall and only wide enough for one abreast. Therefore, medium sized creatures must stoop and attack at -2. It's pitch black except for very near the entrance. I'll need marching order, light sources, and which direction you'll be starting out in - left or right.

Well, I'll get the ball rolling with a suggested order.
Pretty - scouting ahead with Darkvision
Idris, Maja, Sera, Kivan, Cass.
The basic idea is that we'll hopefully all be able to attack. Idris holds the line, Maja reaches over with her spear, the rest of the party uses ranged attacks. Cass shields the casters from rear attacks. Pretty hopefully does something sneaky to get into flanking position with Idris (... is that overly optimistic?).
Maja and Sera can cast Light, so I think that's respectably covered.
Direction seems arbitrary. Follow tracks?
Pretty
I'm ok with scouting a few feet ahead. It should be no problem for me to move past the enemies, since they are probably small and weak.
Direction: 1 is left, 2 is right.
1d2 ⇒ 1

I'm good with the proposed order and Sera will cast light on whatever Cass prefers. ^_^

Jacob, can we use the corners of the room (where the corridor begins) to hide?
GM_Jacob
Folks, I'm sorry, but I owe you closure. I recently got a new job that is taking up a lot of my time, as I'm sure you've all seen by my lack of posting. Two days ago, however, my family was hit by a very serious crisis. As such, I have to bow out of this group. Thank you for the good times.

I hope you manage to get things into their proper place Jacob. Thanks for the time spent.
I don't know about the rest of you, but Pretty will look for another Kingmaker campaign, what do you think?
Seraphina Medvyed
Well, thanks for letting us know. It's better than sitting around and wondering if anything is going to happen with the game. I'll probably also try and keep an eye out for another kingmaker campaign to put Seraphina in.
Hope matters improve for you soon, Jacob!
Kivan Corsan
Hope the crisis gets over soon Jacob.
Do you guys want to just stop here, or do you want to see if we can get a replacement GM?
Seraphina Medvyed
Sure, I like the group. If we could find another GM willing to step in, I'd be happy to continue.
Pretty
I'll look for it and dot there.
Seraphina Medvyed
I think it is true, but it may be Paizo staff that makes the change. I'm not positive though.
Idris of the Blade
Pretty
Maybe an e-mail to the Paizo staff who handles the forums will do, or we can start another thread to continue.
Seraphina Medvyed
I notice some of you are PFS players, I've just opened a new recruiting thread for my PFS PBP. Come check it out if you're interested!
Pretty
Mine either, but thanks for the invitation.

So, Red Ramage has volunteered to take over the game. He sounds ok by me, so we might give it a shot. What do you say?
Seraphina Medvyed
Weather events... I'm shivering already! XD
Thanks Red Ramage for volunteering to take us on! ^_^

Absolutely! I'll need a sec to get organized and fog-o-war up a couple maps, but we should be rolling pronto.
A couple of conventions I'll be using, when we're in explore mode each post will be headed with current date/location/conditions IE:
Date: 12 Rova, 4534
Location: Hex 5B (swamp)
Weather: Clear, Strong wind (-2 ranged attacks)
For battles I like to use Google presentations set to "anyone with a link can edit" so people can move their own tokens. This avoids positioning confusion. Here's an example from an old game.
If I've understood correctly, so far you have defeated Happs and his bandit crew at Oleg's place, Kessle and her crew at the Thorn River camp, the radish patch kobolds, and one encounter in the mites' lair. You are currently in possession of a redeemable bandit whom you are working to get back on the straight and narrow. You are currently surprising a group of mites found torturing a kobold. Several members of the group are on the tail of a half-orc bandit named Xen, who has done grievous harm to you.
Is the shared revenge quest something you'd like to drive, or is it something I should write in?
Pretty
Thanks again, you're quite up to date.
Bill is the bandit who got spared from the first executions, but we've let him go after the Thorn River Camp, if I'm not mistaken, although there wasn't much of a confirmation about it. I believe we've promised him that and that our judgement was he was not a bad person, so we've freed him. Also, two scouts saw the commotion on the Thorn River camp, and that's why we didn't spend the night on that hex.
I'm not among those Xen has wronged, so I'll let the others answer to that.
Pretty
Also, to help keeping track of combat movement, I'd like to suggest we move our tokens and use arrows to keep track of the path, like we did here, then the DM can check if it's correct and delete the arrows on the monster's next turn.
Idris of the Blade
I should also mention that each of us has a series of relationships in our characters' pasts, at the request of the first GM, in the form of Friend, Acquaintance, Rival and Enemy. Whether those individuals ever show up in person is up to you of course.

Question for Seraphina: it seems to me that you're playing down your draconic heritage. Am I right to assume that nothing about you looks draconic until you manifest your claws?
Seraphina Medvyed
Yes, she's afraid to reveal it at this point. Probably more to her family than anyone else. She has a metallic cast to her hair and eyes, but with coppery colors being fairly common in the human color palette I supposed it to be subtle enough to not be obvious. But I mean for the character to embrace that part of her nature eventually.
*wonders idly if the people could get behind a Dragon Disciple Queen* XD

Dragon disciple is one of my favorite classes. I played a magus 4/ sorc 1/ DD through rise of the runelords, was a tremendously fun character.
Pretty
You're doing a great job Ramage!
And Cassius have not showed up yet, have he?
Red Ramage

Thanks! And no, I PMed him as well. If he's not back by the time we finish the mites/kobolds situation, I'll start looking for a replacement
