WALL OF TEXT, GO!
Recruitment will be open until Friday May 30th, 0000 Hours Rocky Mountain time. I will announce my selection by May 31st
Lords of Taldor: Ascending Majesty
Taldor is a land of lost glories, an empire teetering on the brink of ruin. The nation is stretched thin and threadbare, having lost several satrap states like Cheliax because of massive overreach. Taldor's courts, once bastions of civility, honor, and justice, have become diseased, filled with corrupt bureaucrats, backstabbing nobles, and a pampered emperor who symbolizes all the empty decadence and power-mongering of the elite. Whispers of a new war with Qadira echo in the nation's courts, threatening to bring the final blow to the ailing land if the desert kingdom decides to finally retake Taldor. The age is dark and the problems are many. It is clear that Taldor needs heroes. Will you step up and breathe life back into the nation? Or will your actions inadvertently snuff out the kingdom forever?
This game is a collaboration with a second GM, and there will be times at which they will cross over with the players in the other game
This particular game will be one of courtly intrigue and world shaking politics. While that may indicate to you that martial characters have a less dramatic role to play in this story, I assure you, Taldoran nobles LOVE their chivalric knights, and there will be the ability to venture forth in to the dark dungeon from time to time. Being aware that this is a more social-type game, please consider that you should have some ranks in social skills. Failing ranks in social skills, you should have the ability to compel me with your writing (I’m looking for your social skills to either reinforce your words or to help me overlook blunders).
I will also be including a special homebrew twist to this adventure. Please create your characters as follows, and then view the “Special Rules” spoiler for this additional information.
Level: 12
Ability Scores: 15 point build, 1-1 scale with a base of 10.
This means that all of your abilities start at 10, and to increase you pay 1 point and receive a +1 to that ability. You may reduce a maximum of 2 abilities to 8 to gain the equivalent in points to spend elsewhere.
While I am fine with powerful builds, I DO NOT want to see any ability scores above 24 or below an 8 after racial modifiers are applied. The exceptions to this are for Age Catagories and the +3 increase for your level ONLY
Race: While all Paizo approved are acceptable, Preference will be shown to the Standard Races (i.e. Human, Elf, Dwarf, Halfing, Gnome, and Half Orc). Also, If you do choose a more monstrous race, you better have a deeply compelling reason why the Emperor of Taldor would allow you to attend his court.
Classes: Paizo, and Dreamscarred Psionic and Path of War classes only
HP: Max per level
Skills:+1 skill point per level
Traits 2 standard traits. You may receive a third trait if you take a drawback.
Fluff: This is the important part! Your Character is a 12th level noble of Taldor, you didn’t get to be that way by sitting on your thumb and spinning around (though some nobles did). What makes your character particularly suited to being a Noble? Were you born this way or have you been ascended by right of the Emperor? Are you interested in playing the Grand Game, or do you sneer at the thought? Please give thought to this, I want interesting characters.
Things you should include in your fluff: At least 1 good standing relation; At least 1 sour relation; Why would you be interested in reviving the might of Taldor in the face of receiving such lucrative spoils just for being a noble?
Gold to purchase equipment with: 110,000gp.
Alignment No CE; the other Evils will not knock you out of contention, but your character MUST be civilized in your Scheming and plotting and must be capable of playing on a team without trying to murder their associates. This is will be a game of intrigue, not of “how many bodies can my carpets hold?”.
You will be receiving 10 “Pseudo-Gestalt” levels of Noble Scion to represent you noble heritage or the ascension to nobility. These levels will be in conjunction with your levels of chosen class. What I mean when I say “Pseudo-Gestalt” is that I will be giving you all of the class abilities of the Noble Scion, with none of the skills, saves, attack bonuses or HP gained from the class.
There are stipulations to these abilities, however!
As follows:
1) When selecting your Regional expertise, you can NOT select The Satrapy of the Desert
2) When selecting your Dilettante Studies you can NOT select Dilettante Scholar
3) Your Servitor is assumed to be your estate Steward, and will only be attending to your estate matters. Please give a description of how n depth you would like this to be, as I will be controlling your estate in the background while you are not there.
4) While money gained from Affluent may be spent on anything, I would like you to focus this spending primarily on your estate. This money comes to the whopping sum of 41250gp.
5) Your Estate is all of your land holdings. While I will not require you to purchase anything you don't want, I would like you to take into consideration any serfs or peasants residing on your land also need their own places to live.
6) You have the option of gaining a free Cohort of your same level, because of the Noble Scion ability Greater Leadership. You do not NEED this cohort, but it is suggested that you use this option to supplement the things you can’t do If you are a Caster, it is recommended that you have a combatant cohort, if you are a combatant, it is recommended that you have a caster Cohort. Skill cohorts are Always a good option if you are in politics. Your followers are assumed to be your estate servants and peasants
With those stipulations in mind
You are assumed to have a small Villa in Oppara whether or not you choose to purchase a large estate, this was either a gift from the Emperor or an inherited family villa.
You do not have to purchase your estate or build your cohort prior to the end of recruitment if you don’t want to, though the effort will not go unnoticed. There will be a full week after recruitment to work with the other players to establish your history, reputation, estate, and other matters.
Your Cohort follows the same standard creation rules as listed above, but do not use the special rules. They may be Highborn, but they won't have been officially recognized as titled nobility at this time.
I currently have 4 of 5 slots filled, and I'm looking for a final addition. I may choose a 6th, if you have a very compelling backstory.
Because of the special rules of this game, and its focus on Taldoran Court in place of heavy adventuring, your class selection bears less weight than your story.
The Characters I currently have:
A retired Holy Warrior and his Loyal Physician.
A Highborn Opera Singer intent on inheriting her house.
A Lauded Dame who would rather be on a battlefield than in a dress.
A Lady whose house has the honor of siring the Royal Guard's Captain.
-I've been playing D20 Roleplaying games for over 15 years, and I've been F2F GMing for more than 10.
-This will be my first time running a PbP, and I may stumble a bit, but I have no intention of falling.
-I'm an interactive GM! You will find that as my player, you will have a large amount of input in how my game plays out. It's rare that I have to build the rails for the plot train to come chugging through your story! I like discussing how and where you would like the game to go.

Lord "Inkwell" Rook |

One of the current party members just popping in. Combat isn't the campaign's only focus, and we're not missing any major roles regardless-this is a high level campaign, for experienced heroic characters (I believe one might be a pfs retiree) and everyone can still fight pretty well. We've also got a decent party set of skills.
This might be a good campaign for pfs or similar characters retiringg with a noble title, since it is a good way to get a character with a rich life story and experiences.

DM Gazebo God |
I would very much love to be a part of this campaign and believe the style is right up my alley. I can't submit much for now but will post something tonight if possible. Latest being tomorrow. I notice a lack of arcane types. I will look into playing a caster of some sort. I would like to use kitsune if it isn't too far out. Reason being that no one would actually know I'm a kitsune due to their shapeshifting. If not no biggie. I would be just as happy playing a standard race.

Lord "Inkwell" Rook |

I think the GM is looking first and foremost for characters who are interesting people of the sort one maght actually root for on, say, game of thrones. Golario's kitsune are relatively exotic in avistan, but someone talented enough to reach high levels might have a good reason they wound up in a foreign land, wealthy and ennobled.
As for roles, we've got all the really basic ones dow, though the party might be magic-light. A character trained in tracking or animal training might be useful, and we currently have no one with locate, scrying, summoning or teleportation/travel spells.

Grovo |

I do have a character in mind. Just asking opinion before posting any relevant (I am getting crazy with character creation and have to admit even now I am almost half ready)
Lawful Evil Bard(Negotiator) (So to say Crime Lord from an upstart noble family and already on his old age) focusing on the Social-Life (Bluff, Diplomacy, Knowledge, Intimidate) with wide variety of buffing and trying to increase his influence as well get Taldor back to its power -> benefitting him in the long run

So, naturally, they were a target. When he was twelve years old, Lucas was kidnapped by a gang of thugs operating in Oppara and intending to skim off enough money to make themselves, at least, fabulously wealthy. Given the general corruption of the bureaucracy, it was unlikely anyone would even notice, and Lucas was tossed in with a number of other captives in the hopes of getting his parents to pay a ransom.
That was when Lucas started tossing the thugs through the doors. What the thugs had missed was that Lucas was from a family of Kineticists, people who specialized in manipulating the world with the power of their mind, and his particular talents had manifested in the form of telekinesis. He'd mostly used this to help transport boxes and retrieve hard-to-reach items, but it was just as suitable for tossing humans around.
Brute force was enough to save the day, and during the process, Lucas managed to rescue the son of one of the many royals of Taldor. Of course, no good deed goes unpunished - the rescued prince was a few years older than Lucas, just getting ready to serve in the military (per family tradition), and Lucas was dragged along to serve as a bodyguard.
The prince was not a particularly talented fighter - neither was Lucas, at that, on the few times he ever bothered to pick up a sword. He strongly preferred using his kinetic powers, and over the next few years of campaigning, Lucas managed to gain control of electricity as a secondary power. Most people in the camp had laughed at him at first, but that quickly stopped when his kinetic powers started tossing around people twice his height. By the time he was fully grown, Lucas had distinguished himself in the armed forces, saved the Prince several more times - mostly as a result of some rather impressive healing powers - and generally managed to get noticed.
The Prince and his father were quite loyal to Stavian III, who saw an opportunity to promote an ally and took it. Lucas was awarded the title of Count - not a member of the upper nobility, but high enough to be relatively prominent - and given a decent portion of land to go with the title. The lands were, of course, right next to those the Prince would be inheriting.
Unlike most royal men in Taldor, Lucas steadfastly refuses to grow a beard. This is widely - and correctly - recognized as a point on his part that the underclasses of society still have value and can rise to be great - and those who have mocked him tend to get thrown out the nearest window.
As things are now, Lucas is intelligent, charming, and quite hearty - mostly thanks to the education of the Prince, who taught him the skills necessary to move about in high society. While he prefers being diplomatic - and indeed, has a lot of talent in that - he's not above frightening people or outright lying in order to get what he wants. He's also fairly hard to fool, and has shown to be remarkable perceptive on that end.
Naturally, that doesn't go over well with some other nobles. Lucas is often seen as a bit of an upstart and less of a 'real' noble, and the first one he tossed out a window for mocking him does have something of a grudge for that - though they're also smart enough to realize that any overt insult would probably result in a repeat performance.
In the meantime, Lucas is hoping to help restore Taldor to at least some semblance of working order. He understands all too well what it's like to suffer because you're poor, and he has a low opinion of those who are willing to let the rest of the world burn as long as they can still be spoiled. All of that starts at home, where he's rather pointedly insisted that government officials serving on his estate be honest and open. He's entirely willing to throw them off a high roof for being too corrupt and harming his lands, and they know it.

Aether Telekineticists have access to Aether kinetic abilities.
Affluent (Ex) At each level, a noble scion gains a stipend worth a number of gold pieces equal to 750 multiplied by his class level. Current Unspent Wealth: 41250.
Aristocratic Erudition (Ex) At 3rd level, a noble scion gains a bonus equal to 1/2 his class level on Diplomacy, Knowledge (local), and Knowledge (nobility) checks. This ability also reduces the DCs of Diplomacy and Knowledge (local) checks others make to gather publicly known information about the noble scion by the same amount.
Bullseye Shot You can spend a move action to steady your shot. When you do, you gain a +4 bonus on your next ranged attack roll before the end of your turn.
Burn 4/round (12 nonlethal/burn, 8/day) Burn HP to gain greater effects on your wild talents.
Dilettante Studies Dilettante Scoundrel x2 (2d6 Sneak Attack dice), Dilettante Warrior x2 (+2 Attack/Damage).
Electric Blast (Sp) You shoot an arc of electricity to shock a single foe as a ranged touch attack. If you hit, the target suffers an amount of electricity damage equal to 1d6 + 1/2 your Constitution modifier. This damage increases by 1d6 for every 2 kineticist levels beyond 1st. Spell resistance applies.
Expanded Element (Air) (Su) Gain a second element focus.
Extended Range Kinetic blast has range of 120ft.
Feel the Burn +4 (Ex) Gain a bonus to hit and damage with your blast when you use burn.
Foe Throw (DC 21) Throw a creature if it fails its save.
Force Ward (12 hp +6 hp/burn) (Su) As an immediate action, you surround yourself with a shield of force powered by your telekinetic power. You gain a number of temporary hit points equal to your kineticist level. You always lose these temporary hit points first, before any other temporary hit points. If an attack fails to deal more damage than the remaining hit points in your force ward, it still reduces those temporary hit points but otherwise counts as a miss for the purpose of abilities that trigger on a hit or a miss. These temporary hit points regenerate at a rate of 1 per minute.
Greater Leadership At 2nd level, a noble scion gains the Leadership feat as a bonus feat. He can recruit a cohort up to one level lower than himself. At 10th level, he can recruit a cohort of the same level as himself.
Infusion Specialization (Form Infusions) (Ex) Reduce burn cost of the selected infusion by 1 point (to a minimum of 0 points).
Infusion Specialization (Form Infusions) (Ex) Reduce burn cost of the selected infusion by 1 point (to a minimum of 0 points).
Infusion Specialization (Substance Infusions) (Ex) Reduce burn cost of the selected infusion by 1 point (to a minimum of 0 points).
Kinetic Blade Create a blade of pure energy and make melee attacks with your elemental blast.
Kinetic Blast (Sp) The kineticist can unleash her kinetic blast at a range of 30 feet at will.
Kinetic Cover (Sp) A wall for one face of a square within 30 ft appears.
Kinetic Healer (Sp) Heal others equal to your blast damage and cause them 1 point of burn.
Leadership (Base Score 17) You attract loyal companions and devoted followers.
Light Touch (Sp) This ability is similar to mage hand, but can lift up to 5 lbs per 2 Kineticist levels and can move magical objects.
Metakinesis (Su) By accepting burn you affect your kinetic blast as if using a metamagic ability.
Outcast's Intuition +1 to your Caster Level against dispel attempts.
Peerless Patrician At 10th level, once per round a noble scion can roll twice on any Bluff, Diplomacy, Intimidate, Knowledge (nobility), or Sense Motive check and take the better roll. Once per day, instead of rolling one of these skill checks, he can assume the roll resulted in a natural 20.
Point-Blank Shot +1 to attack and damage rolls with ranged weapons at up to 30 feet.
Precise Shot You don't get -4 to hit when shooting or throwing into melee.
Prestigious Influence (250 GP) At 4th level, a noble scion can use his influence to receive special treatment, favors, and other services. He effectively has a pool of virtual gold pieces equal to 150 gp plus 10 gp per class level to spend on services and non-material goods. This pool replenishes at the beginning of every week.
Regional Expertise The Fallen Empire. Feats Chosen: Alertness, Improved Initiative, Persuasive.
Self Telekinesis (Sp) You use your telekinetic abilities to move yourself.
Servitor At 7th level, a noble scion gains a faithful NPC servitor of the same level as his cohort granted by the Leadership feat. This servitor can only have levels in NPC classes and comes equipped with gear appropriate for a character 1 level lower than the servitor's actual level. The servitor does not follow the noble scion as would a cohort or follower, but instead can run various errands for his master while the noble scion is adventuring, such as delivering messages or maintaining the scion's manor in his stead.
Sneak Attack +2d6 +2d6 damage if you flank your target or your target is flat-footed.
Telekinetic Blast (Sp) You throw whatever unattended object happens to be nearby at a single foe as a ranged attack. The object must weight 5 lbs. per kineticist level you possess or less. If you hit, the target and the thrown object each suffer an amount of bludgeoning, piercing, or slashing damage equal to 1d6+1 + your Constitution modifier. This damage increases by 1d6+1 for every 2 kineticist levels you possess beyond 1st. Spell resistance does not apply. Even if a telekineticist uses this power on a magic weapon or other unusual object, the attack does not use any of the magic weapon’s bonuses or effects and simply deals the telekineticist’s blast damage.
Vital Strike Standard action: x2 weapon damage dice.
-Build up the estate. I haven't spent the money because I'm not sure of the rules we're using - Kingmaker stuff, or what?
-Make the Servitor. I'll probably have them be a relative - a sister, perhaps - who runs things on his behalf.
-Make the Cohort. I intend for it to be a skill-type cohort. It's a fair bit of extra work, so I'll probably only do this if selected. XD

Questions?
Are you still going by the original source material where Sarenrae worship is persecuted in Taldor? (I think that was recently retconned as not being the case but it might influence back stories either way)
Are we allowed to use families and other material from the Knights of the Inner Sea supplement? (It's not all about Taldor but has some blurbs through out)

bigrig107 |

Would a Lawful Evil cleric of Asmodeus placed by his god in the nobility be appropriate?
Thinking crazy high Bluff/Diplomacy with Skill Focuses and Asmodeus options, possibly a level in Inquisitor to get Wisdom to some skills through Inquisition and archetypes, plus maybe Studied Target through Sanctified Slayer.
Domains- Fire and Trickery, summoning (with Sacred Summons, Augment Summoning, etc.) with a secondary focus on fire spells.
Any thoughts?
Edit: context.
He would openly admit he is Cheliaxian, as it could get hard to hide it. However, he approached the Emperor as an emissary of Taldor, as the two countries are not currently at war.
With such powerful patrons, Asmodeus and Cheliax, backing him up, he is hard to ignore.

Thomas was born in Jalrune River. Spending his childhood in poor conditions and having malnutrion signs, he had no chance to grow strong or sturdy like others. Instead he resorted on his wits and intelligence to outwit others. Since kid he already learned the cruelty and unfairness of the world and if you did not think about yourself, you would not survive for a long time.
Growing up in a such environment, it did take time and dedication for Thomas to grow in power and earn the support of other children and soon they were the infamous group "River Rats" among the residents. Even though Thom never had the build or strenght of strong kids, his voice was that like of an angel and he was soon approached by a strange man. Appearing to be a teacher in a famous academy of Rhapsodic College and interested in Thom, he wanted to offer him a choice: the life of a bard as well educating him. Eagerly accepting his this chance to get forward in his life Thom traveled to Oppara.
As years passed Thom grew up in Oppara, especially taking liking tot he infamous districs of Narrow. As it was meant to be he soon gathered other kids from different backgrounds and had his own gang. Like in Jalrune River, Thom began to gather attention from society of darkerside.
Connections and his own excellent performance soon allowed him to enter the world of Nobles, through bribes and cunning abilities earned only through life. Garnering more and more power in his tasks he was ascending through the ranks until a stop came.
Years passed by and as Thomas grew older he wanted more but cursed his destiny. That damn Harbormaster Hallador was controlling the most lucrative business of Inner Sea and he had to somehow get rid of him. They had clashed against each other through the years but he had always somehow maintained upperposition during their skirmishes and it was driving Thomas crazy.
During those times people from all side of society and ranks knew "Old man Thom". Fearless, cunning, ruthless with his ambitions people were speaking about him and cursing him behind his back but none had the courage to threaten him openly face to face or accuse of him. Oh those few people who had done so had soon disappeared and their properties claimed by Thom. Thomas didnt care, he knew well enough of his reputation but dare he who came forth him and accuse him of things without evidence. He was bad, he was evil but he was fair. Few could say something about him if not being fair. He was Taldan, their man and keeping other hoodlums out of the city.
There was still one secret a few knew. It seems like Thom had some connections with the Brotherhood of Silence and especially with their leader Masked Marquis. How he had managed to do that, no one knew but surely there was storm brewing in the horizon and the gears were starting to turn.
Having his enemies at the Harbor and enemies in the darker side of Society, Thomas sees at last the possibilites to advance in the circle of nobles to higher positions to grap more of power under his grasp. With the age some of his sentiment and worries has risen up and he reminisce about his youth in the Narrows. Having the desire to improve the situation there and offer some kind possibilites to the youth like he had the chance, is the the smalles thing he could do at least in the memento of his favored teacher. Only through power and ranks can change be made, both in the ranks of Nobles and ranks of Criminel.
There can be only one king... in both sides

-----Dilettance Performancer: A noble scion treats his effective bard level as two higher for the purpose of the bardic performance class ability. He must have the bardic performance class ability to choose this dilettante study.
Greater Leadership At 2nd level, a noble scion gains the Leadership feat as a bonus feat. He can recruit a cohort up to one level lower than himself. At 10th level, he can recruit a cohort of the same level as himself.

Bardic Knowledge A bard adds half his class level (minimum 1) to all Knowledge skill checks and may make all Knowledge skill checks untrained.
Bardic Performance A bard is trained to use the Perform skill to create magical effects on those around him, including himself if desired. He can use this ability for a number of rounds per day equal to 4 + his Charisma modifier. At each level after 1st a bard can use bardic performance for 2 additional rounds per day. Each round, the bard can produce any one of the types of bardic performance that he has mastered, as indicated by his level.
At 7th level, a bard can start a bardic performance as a move action instead of a standard action. At 13th level, a bard can start a bardic performance as a swift action.
Jack of all Trades At 10th level, the bard can use any skill, even if the skill normally requires him to be trained. At 16th level, the bard considers all skills to be class skills. At 19th level, the bard can take 10 on any skill check, even if it is not normally allowed.
Rogue Talents At 2nd level, a negotiator gains a rogue talent, as the rogue class feature of the same name. At 6th level and every 4 levels thereafter, the negotiator gains an additional rogue talent. A negotiator cannot select a rogue talent that modifies the sneak attack ability.
This ability replaces versatile performance.
Master of the Rhetorics At 5th level, the negotiator can take 10 on any Bluff, Diplomacy, Intimidate, Knowledge (local), or Sense Motive check if he has ranks in that skill.
A negotiator can choose not to take 10 and can instead roll normally. In addition, the negotiator can take 20 on one of those skill checks (without spending any additional time). The negotiator can do this once per day at 5th level, twice per day at 11th level, and three times per day at 17th level.
This ability replaces lore master.
Advanced Talents At 10th level and every 4 levels thereafter, a negotiator can select an advanced rogue talent in place of a rogue talent. A negotiator cannot select an advanced talent that modifies the sneak attack ability.
Binding Contract (Sp) At 9th level, the negotiator can bind another creature's promise to the negotiator with a geas. This acts as lesser geas, except the creature must have Hit Dice equal to or less than the negotiator's level. The target can negate this effect with a successful Will save (DC = 10 + 1/2 the negotiator's level + the negotiator's Charisma modifier). The geas is discharged if the negotiator breaks his end of the bargain. Using this ability requires 3 rounds of continuous performance, and the target must be able to see and hear the bard throughout the performance. At 18th level, this effect acts as geas/quest (no HD limit, and the target cannot attempt a saving throw). Binding contract is an enchantment (compulsion), mind-affecting, language-dependent ability that relies on audible components.
This performance replaces inspire greatness.
Fast Talk (Su) At 1st level, a negotiator can use performance to affect the perceptions of any number of targets that can hear him. While the negotiator performs, these targets take a –1 penalty on saving throws against enchantment (charm) and illusion (figment, glamer, or shadow) effects, as well as a penalty on Appraise checks equal to half the negotiator's level (minimum –1). A target that fails its Appraise check believes that the object in question is worth 10% more or less (negotiator's choice) than its actual value. At 5th, 11th, and 17th levels, the saving throw penalty increases by 1 and the shift in an object's perceived value increases by 10%. Fast talk is a language-dependent, mind-affecting ability that uses audible components.
Counterargument (Su) This performance acts as countersong, except a negotiator can use only Perform (act, comedy, oratory, or sing) to perform a counterargument.
Aspiring Bard (Human—Taldan): You spent countless hours of your youth wandering the open campuses of the Kitharodian Academy and the Rhapsodic College, listening to wonderful musicians and singers and daydreaming of your life as a bard. You gain a +1 trait bonus to one category of Perform checks and a +2 trait bonus to any Knowledge (local) checks that deal with the Oppara music scene.
Narrows Survivor: You spent your childhood in the infamous Narrows district of Oppara. Years of living in violent squalor have sharpened your senses and given you an ardent distrust of humanity. You gain a +1 trait bonus to Initiative and Sense Motive checks. Sense Motive is always a class skill for you.

I'd like to post interest in a harbinger/wizard/bladecaster. Hopefully the playtest materials for Path of war: Expanded are allowed? I envisioned him as an agile and cunning spear-user.
Short Version
Concept: Flamboyant spear-wielding magic/melee character. Feels sense of duty to his deceased brother who loved the country. Constantine abandoned the nation to travel the Inner Sea and feels ashamed he was not around to help his sick brother.
Good Standing Relations: With a father and two older brothers, Constantine has plenty of family to rely upon. He also has his old leader at Stavian's Hold, Nicholos Mouzalon to rely upon.
Sour Relations: With seven illegitimate children from seven different women, Constantine has plenty of enemies among the nobles. Additionally, Arkis Nowen, formerly of the Summer Crows, holds an intense grudge against Constantine for taking control of the company. Unknown to Constantine, he also caused the death of the only son of Togrul an-nasir, a famous Qadiran general. Togrul knows Constantine's name and may have even had a hand in Theodoro's death.
Description
Standing at 5' 11”, Constantine has tanned skin from a lifetime on the frontier. Like all self-respecting Taldan nobles, he has a well-groomed and oiled goatee of black hair. His hair is cut short in a military style, taking after his eldest brother. Constantine does not wear his armor frequently unless expecting combat—much preferring to dress in flowing silk tunics of white with golden yellow, orange and scarlet hues. More formal occasions have him wearing more blue and gold to match Taldor's flag or whatever colours are in fashion at that time. He prefers black, knee-high boots to the soft slippers in the current fashion.
Personality
Constantine is known for his stanch wit and for being a constant flirt. Rumors in the court say he has more than one child although he has yet to marry and shows no signs of settling down. He is a haphazard devotee of Shelyn, finding beauty in many things and enjoying both poetry and writing.
Background
Constantine spent his youth learning both arcane and martial skills from private tutors—only the best for the Agyros family. With a strong tradition with military affairs, it was expected he turn those skills into something useful. He was the third son of four and it would be very unlikely he inherited his father's senatorial position.
Along with his younger brother, Theodoro, Constantine joined the Taldan Phalanx and volunteered to fight at Stavian's Hold to keep watch over the border. Being from a well-off royal family (even if the last emperor of their lineage was over a hundred years ago), he was granted both Knighthood and a commanding position. His brother chose to fight alongside him rather than lead his own command. The two Argyros brothers soon became famous for their comraderie and charisma—being entirely willing to spend time with the peasants they commanded. They also made an impact on the local political scene for Constantine had a love for the flamboyant. He sought invitations to decadent parties and dressed in the newest fashions—dragging a reluctant Theodoro with him. His much calmer brother would often drag a drunk Constantine home or spend his nights trying to repair harm caused by his brother's affairs with other noble's wives and daughters. Constantine carried his brother along to excitement while Theodoro provided a more realistic foundation for the two.
Constantine defended Taldor from Qadiran raids and led many himself. He rapidly grew in rank and through both coin and sheer charisma encouraged bards to write songs about his exploits. His rank and file began to call him the Painted Knight for his elaborate choices in color and his flamboyant combat style. The noble saw combat as simply another art form he could dedicate to Shelyn.
Eventually, however, he grew bored of the monotony on the borderlands and, to his father's chagrin, left to join a mercenary company, the Summer Crows. He simultaneously left his younger brother bereft of Constantine's colorful presence. There was gossip that he left after a particularly heated affair went incredibly sour. The Summer Crows were a small band of less than two-hundred that fought around the Inner Sea. Constantine had become fast friends with the commander during a fierce raid before the group had moved to new pastures. When they returned, the Painted Knight joined his erstwhile companion to the south—guarding caravans in Thuvia and fighting pirates off the coast of Rahadoum. With a thought towards advancement, Constantine wrenched control of the company from its second-in-command when the commander fell in battle against harpies. He gleefully took them all over the Inner Sea even going so far north as the Worldwound to battle demons.
Constantine was away from Taldor for almost five years when he received a letter from his father requesting he come home. His youngest brother, Theodoro, had died in a border fight with another noble house. Disbanding the company except for a few friends, Constantine fled back to Taldor. His thoughts turned to revenge against House Phakell but were interrupted by gossip and rumors of a war with Qadira. Theodoro, unlike Constantine, had joined the military out of a strong sense of duty toward his home nation—a reason why the younger had not followed the elder in joining mercenaries to see the world. Feeling ashamed, as if he had betrayed his brother by leaving, Constanine vowed to do whatever he could to make sure Taldor stood staunch against all threats in memory of his brother.
Family
Constantine has fathered seven children although he only knows of four. Before leaving the country he was tempted to legitimize them to help provide better lives. He did leave a substantial fortune with their parents—but has yet to legitimize any of them. Constantine also has two older brothers, Marcus and Gabriel. His father is pleased to have his third son return home and, while originally loathing the concept, enjoys stories of his son's adventures.

Hello!
Firstly, Addressing what my players have said:
let me say, I love my current players! They understand me so well! Thank you for representing me while I was dealing with RL!
Yes, combat is not the focus of this campaign, and we do basically have every typical role filled. Given that I will have 5 players, each with 2 characters I am not looking for typical roles to be filled... I think we’ll be just fine on that front, and what I’m looking for is quite a bit less tangible then that. I am looking for someone who brings that little extra “Umph” to the game.
While I agree with Mattasrophic in regards to the game being more interesting if your typical full caster types were absent, I am by no means opposed to recruiting a full-caster. Hint: I do like interesting though!
On to the questions and concerns
First issue: In this game you are Landed nobility in Taldor. You may have titles from somewhere else, but ultimately the Grand Prince has seen fit to grant you lands in his empire. This likely means that you were either: born into a noble house, and recognized as its heir, or ascended in the yearly ritual that the Grand Prince grants “Common” folk titles and land for their dedication to the Crown.
The last option (And more difficult to justify) is that you WERE a noble from another land who has come to Taldor and convinced the Emperor of your loyalty to the crown; as a reward, he gave you land and recognized your title within his realm. How you achieved this feat of recognition is up to you, but it is difficult to do if you still hold lands in your mother country.
Next issue: As it says in the character creation guidelines, I’d like you to try to stay within core races unless you have a good backstory for why the Emperor would have ascended you to being a landed Noble. I am a sucker for a creative back story!
Player Specific issues:
Gazebo God: if you can figure out a good reason why the Emperor of Taldor has allowed a kitsune (or rather a person from Tian Xia.) to become a landed Noble, I see no reason why you could not play a Kitsune. It’s a hurdle you’ll have to jump, and do be aware that since this is a high level game, it’s likely you won’t have been able to keep that secret. Note also, that in GoT Varys is not a landed noble, simply an advisor, and while he’s quite influential due to his network of spies, he’s not wealthy by comparison.
Grovo: Similarly to playing races outside of core, If you are evil, I want some reason you would be working with a group of altruistic (mostly) nobles. Also, as this game’s concept has evolved slightly, I’ll need to know what keeps you from spilling this group’s secrets to the world. Think Raj Al’ghul; He knows batman is Bruce Wayne, but why hasn’t he shared that with the world?
Rednal Thank you for your submission! I greatly enjoy the certain amount of defenestration taking place in your back story! You will not have to create a Cohort until after the recruitment (If you are selected), I understand this is a time consuming process. As for the Estate, I’m using the downtime rules, and the amount of gold granted by the 10 levels of Psuedo-Gestalt Noble Scion. You do not have to build your estate now, but I will not complain if you do. The servitor is simply a 12th level NPC-classed person who is in charge of your holdings on your behalf, if you would like that to be a sibling or spouse, or some butler-esque person that is fine.
Ridge: You are allowed to use material from anywhere in Golarion. As discussed above, I am not opposed to someone/thing from Tian Xia finding its way into Taldor, similarly, I’m not opposed to members of nobility from Osirion finding their way to Taloran Court, et cetera. While it is considered a show of opulence to have or be the “exotic” thing in Taldor, there would be certain things you’d have to justify to me before you were considered for the game (i.e. if you were trying to be from Qadira or Cheliax, why on earth would you be granted lands in Taldor?)
Final issue: This is a Homebrew game, though I am using Golarion as the primary inspiration, therefore, what has happened in Golarion up until now has its place in this game. I was unaware that worship of Sarenrae had been ret-conned, but I feel that it suits this campaign better if it was still a persecuted faith in Taldor… So, as a compromise that I think will make things more interesting, worship of Sarenrae has been banned based on the preference of the Lords of their lands. What is law in one county/duchy/town may not be the same law in another!

Lord "Inkwell" Rook |

Questions?
Are you still going by the original source material where Sarenrae worship is persecuted in Taldor? (I think that was recently retconned as not being the case but it might influence back stories either way)
It definitely WAS persecuted for many years. I don't think it's acceptable now, but you might not get killed for it anymore.

There is already a Bard in the party. You might want to change ideas unless you think the DM is going to pick another one.
I have a hard time seeing a LE Cleric of Asmodeus hanging around Oppara, or being in our party - which has a lot of neutral characters but are mostly aligned against whatever "evil" is already in Taldor.
Just in case it hasn't been clear, the party is so far comprised of:
Inquisitor, Ninja, Bard, Cavalier(or something close to that)
With an Alchemist, and Magus cohorts so far built, two cohorts undecided.

DM has stated Sarenrae is still a banned religion. Not sure if he'll retract that though. As far as I know, the DM has been pretty hands off as to how we want to build our backgrounds, so probably yes on KoIS.

Well, as extremely Lawful, he would definitely be interested in keeping his place in society as a noble, and keeping the society around for him to be in.
Use evil for "good", so to speak.
Evil doesn't always have to be the "destroy everything" kind of evil, that's Chaotic Evil.
I just enjoy playing the oddball character ideas, I guess, and when I read this, that's what popped into my head.
If it's a problem, I can find something else to submit.

The Lady Calista Da Romano |

Jonny Panic here, Here is the Alt outline, :)
Will have crunch in asap.
Image of Lady Calista Da Romano - Diplomat
Noble elf NG Pison [Telepath L12]
Image of Lady Calista Da Romano hunting HERE
This tall and slender elf seems not overly attractive, pail blue eyes and fine white hair. She dos not look that strong but when she moves its with some grace. Wearing no Armour she seems only to carry a bow and have a dagger in her boot if needed. On her forehead is a pale blue gem, That has unmistakable power. Her clothing is finely made of elf design, made for an Noble Elf.
As a follower of Ketephys The elf God of the Hunt, she mimics his look in many ways, with his symbol of her Brest.
Personality
On meeting her she acts as a simple Elf, Spend time with her and you may start to think that Calista is much more, always thinking, meticulously calculating and assessing and that she do's not show this off, she hides her talents and Ability's. At times she can be overly paranoid, cunning and manipulative. Often keep herself to herself, letting others take the lead. Only when she needs to dos she engage with others and then...
The Lady Calista is complicated. Talk to her and you will find a complex, Highly intelligent, Highly self disciplined well educated and sophisticated female Elf. She hides the fact she can can read minds but tends not to often only talking telepathically when there is no other way.
A Nbble by birth Born to a respected noble family of Eleves, Calist is the youngest of 3 sisters, the older two showed great skill and ability in the Druidic arts from an early age. Thire lives where set and a good future awaited them in a respectable role in like. But poor Calista showed no such ability. Nor did she show such in the bardic crafts, clericy was not for her, nor magaery. Alchemy then, no, all she did was make her hair green for a while, the fighting arts, again no, she was good with a bow also the blade yes, but she hated wearing armor, so no life of the blade for her.
It seemed that she was destined to be wed off to some halfwit noble’s son. Meetings where held but each time the boy involved would blurt out so reason he could not marry Calista, a few times to great comic affect. Her mother started to suspect that Calista had a hand in this. Her suspicions where raised when she noted how Calista always seemed to know how others felt around her, it was more than hard to keep secrets from her in fact, Calista was needed to be talked to.
This suspicion lead to a fate full meeting, with the prince who was clear on her fate,
"I know of your skills, ask me know how, but I have asks for you and your gifts. Her future was not to be marriage after all it was to be something much more fun.
He gave her a small villa and some land, her "base of operation" he called it.
She was happy to agree to his terms. Anything but the dullness of marriage to a fool.
Calista came later told her mother and father that she was to be a courtesan of the prince, it was the cover story her wanted. They where flattered as asked if that was what she wanted. She said of course it was. It would bring honour to the family and more land.
That was her last day at home; She set off for the move to her new home the very next day. A few mouths settling in and then training for a while. On the princes orders. Trained to always she hides who she is, to the world she is just a Noble rich lady with a love of hunting. To a few she is known as much more.
The Price sends a request now and then, finding the lost child or run away husband, the evil planner in a house hold, the planes of Merchants. Information from there person or that, most of the time seemingly insignificant Information. So what of the Duchess like fish? But a deal was a deal and she did as asked. Outside of that She is just as happy hunting and looking after her lands.
Nurob was happy; he had just fenced some more gear and was heading down to see Maka to do a nice blackmail on some out of town trader. Make him some real cash from that Corporation fat-cat. She slipped in to Old Beekys Bar and grill and make his way to the booths at the back. Maka used one as his office to keep the laws eyes away. Nurob slipped the door open and backed in checking he was not seen. Once he had the door closed he turned around says.
"Maka have I got as sweet deal for you..."
He stopped, where Maka normally sat there was now a Yellow haired Elfmaid. She only look just out of her teens, 100, 120 may be, could be one of Maka's girls.
"Err where Maka girly?"
She took a moment to look him up and down, then said in a clear voice.
"Mr Makadreen decided to give up his life of crime and has gone the local Chruch to confess all."
It took a moment, then he burst out laughing after a while he stopped.
"Joker, funny but no really where's he gone?"
She looked him hard in the eyes.
"As I said, so now Mr Nurob Alfeen Gib please take a seat, I would like some words with you."
Now he looked shocked, The law? Kings intelligence service? who the hells was this elf, All this ran through his mind, she even knew is real full name, She has got to be the law, ye they wanted him, must be, yer now he was going to be in the big time. Deal with her then off to bigger things. He sat and looked at her, She poured him a drink of lemon tea she had in front of her. He did not take it, but she had a sip of hers. As she did he felt his leg under the table for his poison tipped dagger.
"Now Mr Gib you have come to my attention in regards to some documents you stole a few days ago from the Boyle Grand Inn, from room 10 to be precise, the ones that you’re now thinking about in your top breast pocket."
He looked at her shocked,
Mind reader!
A crime here about's,
So she's not local law, then what? free agent, some one hire her?or... the trader, he had hired her, that's who this girl was, right him, need them back a, so girly now they would talk money.
What he had in his pocket was a trade contrast outline worth 10,000s.
"You come alone?
He asked her.
"Yes"
Shot back her reply.
"40,000 in uncut gems, that's the price, and the papers are all yours. Any funny stuff and ill gut ya."
She sipped her tea again studding him.
::"No Mr Gib, I think you’re just going to hand the papers to me right now that would be good idea"::
She held her hand out and before he knew it he had done just that, taken them out and handed them to her. He had really wanted to, really. She popped them into a small case she had with her.
"Err what just happened"
He shook his head,
"WHAT THE...!!"
He went for his dagger pulling it out and then froze. he could not move his hand out with the blade in it just inches from her head. She had not moved but still sat sipping her tea.
"Thank you Mr Gib, now you have tried to hurt me with poison no less, I don't feel bad about what I have to do, you’re an evil man and evil things are going to happen to you."
He was frozen as she stood and walked round the table to his side. She was small 6' but slim, but there was something very worrying about this Elf, Then it hit him, she had just talked to his mind, MIND MAGE!. He could only move his eyes, so looking to the side he could see come close , she came close very close to his ear and pulled the dagger form his hand. Spinning it around she cut his arm with it. Still he could not move.
::"That will be painful soon"::
She put the dagger back in his leg sheath, Then he was free of her, but so weak, he fell to the floor shivering.
::"Me Gib you made a number of mistakes, you should have checked your mark, you should have fully read the papers I now have and you should never have thought about blackmailing the nobility."::
She looked down at him.
::"So with your mistakes I am sorry to say I have been ordered to set and example of you. Your do understand, this is not at all personal it’s just business. They hire me when they need things done out of sight arr..."::
O O^#&& *#^#&*! the Noble's, then the King!! O my god!!, The @&@& king!
::"Yes I can see it in your mind, you just worked it out, now please try not to..."::
To late he had pee'ed himself.
::"O well, it will wash out, now then, as I was saying, the Nobles of this city need to as an example. You know for others of your kind who may be thinking of doing something like you. So a short distance from here is witch keep."::
Now he was whimpering as fear had taken him.
::"Your time is short and if you run there fast, and ask for healing I think they will try and keep you live for the reward that has just been on your head. I also think you may want to tell them all about the bad things you have done, get it all off your chest before the hanging. You will not tell them about me, for you will not remember me, now lets get started while you still have time."::
She ripped him mind apart, there was a lot of pain and crying.
Later he ran as fast as he could and when they arrested him he told all.
He had no idea why, he just knew he had to, he must, but in all he told them he never said a word about letter or a strange elf he had just meet. They Hanged him two days later.
My aim with this PC is to make a kind of
Special Circumstance agent and diplomat, over seen by a Emperors spy masters etc.
Called in as an operative when needed
Role wise she is not built around combat but can if needs be, she will always seeking subtlety as a way to deal with a problems.

This is a very interesting campaign. I'm trying to decide on an aasimar or elf. The blood of angels says that aasimar can be found in Taldor although even most nobles frown on such mixed bloodlines, the common people adore aasimars. This would seem that the emperor might decide to allow an aasimar to be a landed noble especially if she proves popular (I'm thinking of a multiclass cavalier/fighter of the order of the dragon) he would see the benefits of having a charismatic plane touched noble as part of his court although he would also do so to keep an eye on her as the emperor believes it's better to keep friends close and enemies (including potential ones) closer! Hey that seems to be a good background right there! :D
Or if you want I could play an armored elven knight whose family have fielded knights for years and she's the most recent one although she's also the first magus in her family moving across the battlefield like a heavily armored tank wielding both spell and sword.
Still just wanted to see which one you think would work better.

Grovo |

Well, if you know the character Jarlaxe Baerne From Forgotten Realm, Drizz Do'Urden sages I am picturing Thomas exactly like that but instead as a human.
As in why he should not reveal the sercrets of the group, as with Jarlaxx, he mainly plots and advances his own & his organisations schemes but helping the others as it will bring profit and also boost his position. Keep your enemies near and friends in a hugging distance. Thomas will always side himself the winning team or boost the tides for the group, whom he think will be more beneficial.
As he grows older, he starts to be more sentimental and would like to offer the same chances (a glimpse of good side from him) by bringing support and rebuilding "The Narrows", "Crownsgate" and also subjugating the criminal bands & street gangs under him. Each city needs evil since without darkness there can not be light
Especially with the younger people in the party he sees opportunies to bring these things in fruition as albeit they might do hinder his own advancements a bit

Rednal |

@GM: I'm glad you enjoyed Lucas' background - it was mostly stream of consciousness, and I might tighten it up soon... though his habit of using telekinesis to throw people around is probably going to remain a thing. XD It feels like something that would get noticed at court - and if he can't get all of the nobles to like him, he's willing to settle for making them afraid of him instead.
Also, you probably noticed that he has a high Diplomacy score (which I can break down for you if you'd like to double-check the math). I'm assuming that this game is going to have reasonable limits on what Diplomacy can do - we can't just go to court, give one speech, and magically convince the entire kingdom to stop being corrupt, regardless of how high our scores are. We may not even be able to convince people to stop their long-term plans. If you'd still like me to lower it somehow, though, just let me know and I'll start tweaking things.

Lord "Inkwell" Rook |

So, while the party isn't of a single alignmen... every character seems united on their desire to root out corruption before anything else. An evil character might be able to fit in if they've got the right sense of justice even if it is tainted by cruelty... but we've already got three mind readers in the party, so secrets become difficult.
As for bards: our current one seems focused on noble diplomacy. A bard or skald who brought more diversity to the group might be a professional singer, archaeologist, dancer, author of war herald/drummer given nobility for their legendary talent, thus filling a different sort of role at a dinner party even if not doing the same in a combat party.
As for high diplomacy: we've all got it. Something like an unchained signature skill mighr be the best way to distinguish yourself there.

A couple of things popped up
these popped up while I was making a response to the first 10 posts
Bigrig107 Asmodeus is the Patron of Cheliax, an enemy that Taldor hates almost as much as Qadira… If you were discovered to be a clergyman of his faith (You kind of have to use a holy symbol to use divine spells), you’d likely be tried and executed… and it would probably be a VERY quick trial. Please note that Sarenrae is about as good a god as you can get, and while there is less persecution now than 10 years ago, in some counties they still skip the trials and go right to the beheading.
Your potential story here is certainly appealing to me as it would be very interesting to see how you keep your head on your shoulders. I still foresee the issue that was presented with Grovo’s concept: how do you find yourself getting along with mostly altruistic Taldoran nobles who want good for their country and why haven’t you spilled their secrets to the world in your benefit?
Grovo: Ser Thomas I like what you are doing with this concept. Being that this game has ties to another being run, I’ll share with you this: I am a player in the other campaign, Specifically, I am the Chief Detective Inspector of the Narrows/Crowngate, and my Arch-nemesis is the Masked Marquis, Whom I’m the only person who has almost caught him. As stated in my previous post, though, there are potential concerns about party dynamics that I don’t see addressed I know your character posting was put up minutes before my first response --- Edit: I believe you’ve addressed my concerns
Raven: Constantine That is one sexy fellow! I appreciate the thoughtfulness that went in to creating such a flamboyant character, and the potential turmoil your youthfulness could have made for you in court! While I have limited experience with the Path of War, I do not foresee anything from Dreamscarred being terribly unbalanced. PLUS! If you ruin my game, there’s always the much feared “GM Nerfbat” disease going around golarion! Lol!
Jonny … Panic: Lady Calista It’s good to see a core non-human! I appreciate the Sub story more than the initial background, it’s a lot more telling about who your character really is.
SCKnightHero Being an Elf or Assimar might give you the option to have experienced the last clash with Qadira and/or Cheliax(Something like 50-100 years hence), which also may indicate that the Last Emperor could have landed you for exemplary service. Again, I’m less looking to fill traditional roles, than I am looking for someone who is going to add a higher level of interest to this game.
Rednal: Yes, while having diplomacy in this setting will be a useful tool in your box, it will not be the traditional “Roll diplo=Success/Failure” If you can achieve a ridiculous diplomacy, then so can my NPCs. Think of your social skills as Aim-assist in FPS video games: If you’re almost there, using skill can bump you over the edge. Having a higher skill means you’ve got better aim assist, but if you are shooting at the wall instead of your target, it’s not going to help at all.

Thanks GM, A really doing little Sub story's, they give the PC a voice in action. Also I feel core races always have a lot to offer and a rich main stream background to pug-into. They are the majority of the world.

Okay, so the whole ambassador thing won't work.
I'll have to get my Inner Sea World Guide out, and read about Taldor.
I'm glad you find my concept interesting, and I hope to deliver.
As for hiding my faith, there is actually a cleric archetype to do just that.
Hidden Priest
One question, however, would you let me use Knowledge (Religion) to disguise my spells as oracle spells, not cleric ones?
The information is in the archetype.

I still foresee the issue that was presented with Grovo’s concept: how do you find yourself getting along with mostly altruistic Taldoran nobles who want good for their country and why haven’t you spilled their secrets to the world in your benefit?Grovo: Ser Thomas I like what you are doing with this concept.
PLUS! If you ruin my game, there’s always the much feared “GM Nerfbat”...
Okay cool. I'll try and come up with a proper and more detailed background for my aasimar knight beast rider (after the war she goes on several adventures where she picks up a lion mount). Her travels have given her experience and much knowledge while at the same time furthering her family's fortunes and connections hoping to restore her family after it was brought low by Qadrian mercenaries.

It is good that I was able to give more information / deep on Thomas. I would say he had also a lot of influence and reflection of Johnny Marcone from Dresden series.
I like to think him something like mix between Jarlaxe & Johnny. Regarding to the mind-reading abilities and whole good thing I would envision Thomas quite strong-willed and able to resist most mind proping well, he got huge will saves plus the talents to boost it :) and mindproping / reading, not sure how it really works in Pathfinder as in able to read them anyway or just surface thoughs? anyway but I dont know how to describe it.... He is not really hiding his lifestyle or way but more like tolerated by others. Respected I would like to say i.e He is one of us, Taldanian. At least none of thus Qadiran or Chelexian. Keeping our streets clean off from them
He is old already but there are couple thing he are keeping in secret and still wish to achieve. Regarding the Masked Marques, well, he is competitor for "Old Thom" and there can never be 2 or 3 big boys in town... someone will go down at somepoint
Regarding class: I dont know, I cant imagine him as anything else EXCEPT Rogue but then Thomas is not really build to be fighter. Exactly like Jarlaxe rather. Planning on my Cohort to go that direction

Lord "Inkwell" Rook |

A few more thoughts—
@Bigrig, that Hidden Priest archetype works really well at fooling casual observers, but not party members with +20-30 to spellcraft. Of course, an Inquisitor doesn't need a holy symbol, and an Oracle can still worship a god, without the pesky "have to actually listen to everything that god wants" business.
A Chelixian (or other foreign) noble might actually be accepted in Taldor if he publicly betrayed his home country to join the Empire, possibly bringing over wealth, troops, or land in the process. Such a character would probably still need to make public declarations of loyalty and religious renunciation, and be mistrusted in high social circles—but there are a lot of lords in Cheliax unhappy with the current situation and it wouldn't be unheard of for some of them to turn traitor against House Thrune.

Using the downtime rules. You can find them here.
Keep in mind that your estate is your entire land holdings, the whole swath of land you preside over.

The year is 4715.
Yes, The Qadira incursion was around 500 years ago (Same time as the Chelaxian rebellion), and while Cheliax has avoided open border hostilities with Taldor and let that hatred simmer down, Qadira has many times been caught in weeks-long campaigns against the border Marches of Taldor and has kept the wounds of war fresh in the minds of each generaltion; the last one of which was as recently as 50 years ago.

SCKnightHero1 |

@SCKnight: The Qadiran invasion lasted over 500 years, ending in 4603 AR; in the century since then, there have been hostilities on both sides, with Qadiran agents sneaking in to pillage border towns every few decades.
Okay. Thank you! I wanted to make sure before I get too much into writing my aasimar's bio and description. Should be done tonight and tomorrow I'll post the stats. The fact that there are skirmishes helps as it provides a reason for her to go off adventuring as she mourns the death of her family (changed the merchant whose scheme was foiled by her to a Kelish merchant who was actually a spy trying to use her family to build up an intelligence network of unwitting pawns and has her family murdered by common bandits to throw off suspicion as he retries to complete his plans; he becomes a sort of nemesis of her if the gm allows that sort of thing). As she gains power and prestige she causes a few people to take notice, both potential allies and enemies as she struggles to restore her family name as well as unravel the deaths of her family.
While an accomplished warrior, she is a devout follower of Shelyn, as the aasimar views everything she does as a form of the arts, be it painting, dancing, armor smithing, magic, or cleaving her foes to shreds. Of course she does ruffle some feathers due to supporting the princess eutropia.

Lady Calista: Princess Eutropia's place is as a Major player. You are allowed to have her as an acquaintance, but may not manipulate her position in court as of the start of this game.
Understood GM, My idea was my PC be an agent of her, as well as her fathers, in fact her Father tell her to be such. But that is all down to you. :) other than that My PC is done, I am trying to keep her simple and not to complex, ill keep that for game play if I am picked :)

The good news is that I'm pretty sure Hero Lab has an estate builder, and I can use this to make my place. The bad news is that I'm not sure I can automatically export it - I may need to copy things by hand. XD; Still, it's shaping up to be a nice place so far.
I'm not sure if pcgen has that feature and that's what I use. :(
Still almost done with background. It's hard working from an iphone.

The Waskally:
I'd like you to stick to the options I've made available.
I'll look at it and make a final decision, but as a current judgement, I'd say pencil in a no.
---Edit---
Upon review of the class:
This class looks REALLY cool, but I don't think its for this game. We will not be playing heroes of legend, but rather experienced or gifted people who have been granted favor by the Empire, and the Godling class appears to be designed specifically to bring epic legends to life.
As a final judgement, I'm going to say no.
