Rath sees the blush appear but merely smiles to himself. And now there is a bloom upon the rose - how fitting.

Rath laughs ruefully, "Yes. I personally, have seen enough broken glasses for one day." He casts an eye up towards Laithoron's studio. He adds seriously to both of them, "Very sorry I am to have involved you both in this. Some hm... things cannot be stood for."

She pauses and slinks slowly as she thinks about her problem, her mind workng more on teasing out a solution regarding her traveling than how much time is passing. After a while, she actually swims a little deeper searching for a little something that should help her on her way back to Lureene.

Fortunately for Suny, Lureene sees her and leaves the dock bench to assist her, flying down to pick up the slightly built elf, grabbing her by the shoulders and then flying the both of them back to the dock. Thankfully, she is not that heavy. SHe thinks, for while she is no weakling, it was tiring for her to fly while carrying anyone for any lenght of time.

Alis raises her glass and tips it towards the sharp-dressed map, "Very true, although that wasn't quite what I meant. Perhaps I shall put it to song once the rest of our party arrives."

Raising her glass a bit higher then, she says, "To no more broken glass for one day no matter figurative or literal!"

Havelock raises his glass. "I'll drink to that."

Eyes glinting like a cat's over her wineglass, she remarks, "You haven't talked to my sister or retainer yet, have you? They'd be at it all day!"

As she drops Suny off at the docks, Lureene hears a strange voice in her mind, and the invisible glove on her right hand starts to throb.

ESP

Spoiler:

"Hey, you there Lureene? She wracks her mind, the voice sounds familiar...

Is that you Majjeff?

"Yep, you did remember who I was. You probabaly are wondering how I contacted you. Simple, since you purchased me, I have a bond with you now, and can contact you telepathically if I feel like it."

Really, Bit never told me about this.

"Because I never told him about this hehe. If I had, he would never have gotten rid of me. Anyway, are you coming back to Limbo soon? That cook, what's her name, Therena is getting frantic, wondering who is going to serve drinks, and eat the duck she she made."

Majjeff, I...I am lost. I don't know where Limbo is.

"Hey, don't worry about that, just use the glove, and when you get close to me, it grows hotter. You should not have any problem finding me now. Well gotta go. Therena is screaming at me now."

Lureene after the connection is broken, turns to Suny, and says excitely, "Get dressed, hun. I know how to get back to Limbo!"

Ravarath wrote:

"Both of you are looking quite nice yourselves..."

Male Sky Elf Game Master lv 20

"Of course the dress is going to look better with the Princess in it!" You hear Laithoron's voice call out in a jovial tone as the tall elf approaches the table. "As our intrepid dwarf one said, 'what is the setting without the jewel?' Speaking of which, where is Morgaard? Not enough time has passed for him to be passed out from spirits yet..."

The expert tailor sits down next to Ravarath leaving one seat open at their round table in order that Morgaard may sit next to both Alis and himself when he arrives.

Catching the eye of the same attractive waitress that Rath spotted earlier, he tips his head subtly and she comes over to take his drink order, "I'd like a Martini. Three olives shake it up I like it dirty. Oh and some bacon-wrapped scallops for everyone while we wait on the last member of our party to arrive. Thanks."

Lureene, after the events of this day, is really ready to get moving back to Limbo. Watching Suny pull up her dress back on, she moves to fasten it. No sooner as she finished dressing, Lureene grabs her and then hold her right arm out, and slowly circles it , then stops.

That way, hun.

After several times repeating the process, Lureene finally gets to the door to Limbo. She opens the door and enters her home, glad to leave Cassomir behind for now...

Until she sees Therena, joined by the Lady Alexis, and her retainer Nelliel Yantannon, sitting at the bar and staring at her and Suny, as they are about to enjoy the first appetizer.

Sorry, Laithoron, is this OK with you or would they still be in Cassomir?

Alis Kirmoon wrote:

"Perhaps so, cannot say. I don't want to dispute with Rajkumari... but there is big difference between mischief and evil. You, I think, mischievous."

Rath, with an odd, knowing, slightly sad look on his face sips his Port and hums a Vudrani poem to himself, only a portion of which can be heard...

How many loved your moments of glad grace,
And loved your beauty with love false or true,
But one man loved the pilgrim Soul in you,
And loved the sorrows of your changing face;

Rath bows very deferentially to the tailor, "I thank you again for your many kindnesses, Master Laithoron. Seeing how well dressed you, Miss Alis, and Mr. Havelock are... I prob'ly should have worn handsome outfit you suggested instead of this. Look like water-logged duck among swans." He laughs.

Lureene pales as she sees the porter, and gulps, looking down at the dress she was wearing, which belongs to Alis, nad while still in pretty good shape, could use a good cleaning and also Suny's dress as well. Sonofa...

Hello there, ladies, i hope you had a good time in Cassomir, and I hope you enjoy your stay here in Limbo, now if you will excuse me...

Not so fast, Lureene!. She cringes as the whip like voice of Nelliel stops her in her tracks. I have been hearing some interesting stories here! and where is the Lady Alis?"

Therena chimes in, "Yes Lureene, and where is Ravarath?"

Lureene stops for a moment and composes herself, and replies evenly, 'i do not know where the Alis or where Rath-hun, err Ravarath is."

She steals a glance up at the skull, where she had lain up on the mantle, and she could swear it was quivering slighhtly, and she gets the impression of bellowing laughter.

When I get my hands on Majjeff...

"Ravarath?" she looks to Alexis who just shrugs in confusion. "I thought it was the paladin who was to be escorting you. No matter, I suppose the only creature more stoic than a knight would be a monk."

Nelliel pauses and for a moment Lureene wonders if they'll be off the hook.

"However," Nell continues, "I heard a disturbing rumor that your escort ran off for some reason and then the two of you started breaking up Lord Aernelóth's boutique. The monks I have known do not abandon their charges lightly unless they feel their actions are serving some greater purpose. You wouldn't happen to know why Ravarath ran off only to jump out of a window and run towards a commotion this porter heard now would you?"

Lureene feels her patience ebbing and smelling the roast duck in the kitchen is causing havoc with her stomach. "I will be honest with you. Alis took Suny and myself out shopping. Unfortunately, something happened...her face flushes in a pinkish glow... and we had a minor disagreement with Ravarath. So Suny and myself left and returned here." She anticipates the next question, and says, "On our way here, I was accosted by a brutish thug, who was interested in me for his own filthy pleasures, I am sure the reason Ravarath did this was to save me from his tender affections."

Suny gives a "Yeeep!" As Lureene plucks her from the water, *Now I know whut a Gulls breakfast feels like!* She thinks, along with some other not so coherant thoughts as Lureene swoops over rooves and stone pavement.

"Here's your dress Hun." The winged wonam offers Suny the blue fabric given to her from Alis. Suny smiles and does her best to wriggle into the thing again, still juggling the shell and its contents and glad for the decent piece of fishing net she'd found to use as a carry sling.

No sooner is she settled than Lureene is taking off again, now waving her white gloved hand before her as they rush head long through the darkening streets.

Together they eventually walk back through the door and into the place where Suny feels a little more comfortable.

Though the three women; Therena, the Lady Alexis, and her retainer Nelliel Yantannon, sitting at the bar and staring at Lureene and Suny give the browned skinned Elf pause for thought. As the trio of well dress woman open up with their questions, Suny notes they are aimed at Lureene and not herself.

Suny is having a bit of trouble following the actual words, but the tone of what people are saying is speaking volums, plus it's three to one.

"Right then, me luvlies, lets get a couple o' things straight." Sunys' voice is loud but calm. "Ravarath left us." Suny declairs. "I do think th' Lady Alis wus lookin' t' get some sense out'a him an' she an' a...." Suny pauses and leans over to whisper to Lureene, "Um, whut wus 'at thick, hairy feller who th' lady did seem t' know?"

"Aye, well..." And Suny steps forwars, between the three woman and Lureene, "There were a right misun'er standin' t'ween m'self an' Ravarath. Somat whut when I get a better hang o' th' language I do intend t' untangle." Suny looks over her shoulder to Lureene.

"T'wernt none o' Lureenes' doin', t'was all down t' gum-nut me." And Suny winks at Lureene with a grin before turning back to face the ire of the three woman...and the slouching fellow in the red outfit.

Well, this'll get in'erestin', wunt it? ;)

Limbo's door is unceremoniously booted open. Everyone in the room claps hands over their ears at the din coming from outside the door. It is an unrelenting shrieking wind carrying the whispers and lamentations of the damned (at 200 dB) and unholy laughter. Patrons in sight of the doorway, are bathed in a nacreous crimson light, penetrating to their bones. They see a desolate, undulating landscape whipped by a blizzard of metal filings that savage everything in sight. The sky, what little can be seen, is the color of butcher's shop floor.

From out of this perpetual wailing hellscape, steps a petite woman, no more that 5'4". She wears the full robe and headdress of a Keleshite. Her right hand holds, and constantly fiddles with, the well worn scabbard and hilt of a scimitar. Seeming oblivious and unaffected by the plane of horrors from which she exits, she regards the room casually, and then closes the door using the tail end of her scabbard. The door closed, and the bar suddenly darkened, it becomes clear the woman is glowing faintly as if limned by some eldritch faerie fire.

She take another step into the bar and does a small leap in the air. When she lands, an impressive stock of metal filings are shaken loose. Satisfied she is clean, she heads past the gawking patrons and over to Mors. "Ale, if you have it, but I'm not picky." She takes the proffered drink, raises it to Mor's good health in thanks, and takes a long draw off the glass. Half the ale is gone. She turns to regard the patrons who are still looking at her. She waves a hand and says "Continue about your business."

Holy crap, this is way too many characters to be running in one thread! O_o;;;

Alexis finishes her wine and sits very still, her head bobbing every now and then. After a couple minutes she shakes her head and says, "Well, this is all very interesting, but I think that it is time I should take my leave. Goodnight Miss Nell." She taps the porter on the shoulder and point to the mountain of packages, "If you will follow me, you can return to your drink in a moment, your tab is covered."

With another hiccup, the man nods in agreement and drunken though he is, manages to wrangle all of the packages upstairs and safely to the Kirmoon suite without ever dropping a single one. A few moments later, he reappears at the top of the stairs whereupon he ever-so-gracefully, rolls down them almost in slow-motion, after which he can be heard snoring loudly by the wall at the foot of the steps.

*phew* two down!
