Kat dives away from the demons, driving her blade into the nearest woman's side, drawing a hiss of pain. She steps back and holds forth her holy symbol again, pain wracking Kat, along with everyone else but Agnar. 18 points negative energy; DC 16 Will for half

Trying to be a little faster/better about updating again, so I'm GMPC'ing Kereek. Sorry, Kereek! Not sure how long this will last, but I'd like to get back to making sure I post 5-10 times a week, like I used to.

"Interesting, indeed" Agnar agreed sadly, wincing in pain as he examined his own wounds.

Marcelline Bryne |

Marcelline sighs with relief as the magical healing washes over her. "Thanks. I kinda forgot what it was like to have a cleric around."
When they go to examine the way forward, she casts detect magic and begins to loot the bodies of the dead women.

Katerina the Maid |

After a while Kat's churning stomach settles down and she gives a big grin to Agnar, "Marcy's right on this one - with out you, Old Man, we would not have gotten through. Blessings of Erastil on us all, no?"
While Marcy rifles through the dead women's belongings, Katerina keeps her attention between both sets of doors, listening as best she can.
Please put Kat in the corner between the doors, in case we have company

Agnar Hrolfsen |

Agnar dipped his chin slightly at the praise and responded "Without Erastil, much would be lost, not only our lives. I am happy to be his conduit to help such worthy heroes."
Chortling at Prazil's comment, Agnar eyed the alabaster men and their warlike poses.
"These seem to suggest a warriors tomb, yes? We're in the right place, then. I wonder if they have anything useful or clever about them."

The statues appear to be Kellid men, in war-like poses, but nothing you see indicates who they were modeled after, if anyone in particular. They appear to be nothing more than statues as far as you can tell.
Detect magic is a nearly painful experience as you discover numerous auras. You're able to eventually narrow them down, realizing a pair of spells affect the entire complex.
You think the walls of this place have been enchanted, in a way that will resist -- painfully! -- magical manipulation.

Some sort of test of strength would certainly make sense in a Gorumite temple.
Rolling the boulders into place requires progressively harder Strength checks due to their size and the height at which they need to be placed.
