Marcelline picks up the breastplate easily and straps it to her back. It sure is awkward, but it doesn't really encumber her much. "Anyone have a bag of holding or anything?", she inquires.

Kereek stops at the blank wall. "This am a lot of stairs for going nowhere. Maybe it am illusion?" Nodding, he walks straight at the wall, not stopping.

Though Kereek didn't notice it, Marcelline's more hands-on search for secret doors reveals that it is in fact an illusion, masking a pair of locked iron-bound doors.

You're eventually able to open it, despite the magic on it. Beyond the doors, four massive pillars hold up the large dome-shaped chamber’s ceiling, which rises to a height of 50 feet. At the room’s center stands a towering suit of spiked armor.

DC 15 Knowledge (religion):

Huh. That's strange. It didn't post my last update (which would have made the reason for my discussion post obvious) from this morning.Glad I have the Lazarus plugin to mostly recover it.

Round 3:

Kereek: 27
Agnar: 21
Katerina: 16
Prazil: 10
Marcelline: 21
Antagonists: 6

Kereek moves into position and blasts the dragon with electricity, which seems to slow the golem, though not hurt it.

Agnar channels healing power as he backs up, followed by Marcelline, who takes a wicked blow from the god statue as she retreats. 32 hp; withdraw only treats the initial square as not threatened, and your Acrobatics check wasn't good enough.

Katerina carves more slices in the thing, badly damaging it it seems, but not enough to put it down -- worse, it ignores her attempt to parry her blow, nearly driving her own blade into her chest as it just overwhelms her with the force of her blow. 54 hp

Mechanics:

AoO: 1d20 + 28 - 1 ⇒ (10) + 28 - 1 = 37
2d10 + 16 ⇒ (10, 6) + 16 = 32

1d2 ⇒ 1
Slam: 1d20 + 28 - 1 ⇒ (19) + 28 - 1 = 46
2d10 + 16 ⇒ (6, 4) + 16 = 26
Crit: 1d20 + 28 - 1 ⇒ (15) + 28 - 1 = 42
2d10 + 16 ⇒ (10, 2) + 16 = 28

Marcelline shakes her head, knowing that there's little she can do to hurt the golem. She sheathes her curve blade (carefully placing it in its sheath instead of dropping it on the ground like a neanderthal) and draws her heavy crossbow. She can at least try to shoot at it, even if it probably won't do anything.

Kereek will cast dimension door and teleport beside Kat, just in case he has to teleport her out next round to save her life!

"Whoa! HEY! HEY! YOU AM FOR POUNDING ON PRAZIL, NOT KAT!" The knightly kobold needles at the god-golem's calf, trying to draw its attention away from Kat and now Kereek as well.

Agnar crumpled from the massive blow that hit Katerina. 26 to her, 26 to me from shield other

Staggering, but overwhelmed with concern for Marcy and Kat, he again flooded the room with healing energy.

Katerina and Agnar grunt in unison as the golem simply crushes Katerina's deft blade with brute strength. Undeterred the Maid keeps her feet and tries to get in even closer to the behemoth, I can't beat him at his arm's length... As she dances with Gorum's champion she feels Agnar's will channel Erastil's endurance into her body. She smiles, knowing that the golem's time is short - for when you fight without allies, you die alone.

Kereek appears next to Katerina just in time to see the swordmaiden cut down the god statue, severing enough pieces that it grinds to a halt, its magic failing.

A pair of double doors leads to the north and southeast.

Prazil looks at Kereek wide-eyed. "Whoa, really? That am Gorum? Wow! Am we for being gods now? Prazil am not for being a god before."

Marcelline sighs. "Neither of you are gods, little lizard-men. You're just exceptionally powerful."

"So... right or left?"

Alrighty, I'm switching my statblock over.
