Sure, that's fine.

thinking about shooting from roof tops and I find myself thinking, 'stand back from the peak of the roof and use that as cover. You can't hit anything near your own position, but that's what the other postions do: you cover each other.' And then I think, 'too modern. Psuedo Medievals wouldn't think to use the roof lines that way, or the idea of interlocking fires...'

Then again, I think too much, anyway.

Hmmm. So I'm guessing we've got a pretty paltry militia for our army here? I think the only way Prazil could really contribute in a mass combat sense would be if we had an army with the mount feature.

Thematically though, if we have any of this militia who will be forced into melee, I guess Prazil and Spike will stay with those blokes and lead them unto glory!

Marcy, I wanted to reply to the two times you have pointed out Kat's youth and attractiveness. Sadly, I am a dolt and forgot to do so... Feels like missed RP opportunity.

Agnar, are you familiar with the blessing of fervor spell? It's rad as hell and I think you should prepare it on most days.

I'm going to be out of town Friday-Monday. I plan to resume regular posting come Tuesday or Wednesday. We can continue to post today through Thursday, of course.

It has been one hell of a week. Sorry for the delay, but I think the worst is past.

I hate to say this, since this was my first PBP and I really wanted to see it through, but I'm thinking it may be time to call this one.

I last posted Tuesday and there've been two posts since then. I know it's a holiday weekend (and PaizoCon) in the States, but that still doesn't account for Tuesday-Thursday/Friday in terms of posting opportunities.

Since May 17, you guys have posted a total of four times, with two of our five players not posting at all in those almost two weeks. Going back almost another week to May 11, there have been seven player posts, with one player not posting at all.

I know I didn't post a lot in that time either, but I was also waiting for more involvement...

Well, I mean. Not very much is happening right now. Personally I figured that we'd done our business and we were gonna go do something else.

I am sorry I have been ridiculously busy - recently moved up to Colo Springs with work - and now work at a site where I do not have internet (I am not even allowed to have my cell phone!).

I am here and want to continue. Of my other PbPs, one is ending in the very near future (I imagine 2 weeks or so) and another will end at the finale of the current module (your Module Madness, Mott)

So, let me go and write a pushing post and get our patooties into gear! :D

I'd love to keep playing, but if you're not feeling it, Mott, I can understand. I think we might need a plot jolt. Maybe move us ahead to some dramatic moment and let the drama be the impetus to restart the action?

Yeah, I've definitely felt similar lulls in my games before. In my experience, it's usually because nothing significant is happening.

Jinkies! Aw man, I hope we're able to rally and keep this going. This was my first game with you, wasn't it mott? Plus, I haven't had a chance to use the sweet, sweet belt you cooked up for Prazil!

All right, I'll keep going, but please let me know if you're waiting for something to happen. I felt like my last post had a good push -- giving you a chance to try to make any preparations before heading out -- and it was met with pretty much silence.

You guys can discuss how you want to deal with the gate; also to simplify things a bit, I'll just tell you it's going to be too tight for Spike to get in much further past said gate, so he might as well stay outside.

Yeah, Spike'll just help rip it down I think. I want him to stay out here regardless of the tunnel's size: I'm itching to try out this amazing belt and turn into a Praziltaur!

Does anyone want to lay claim to any of the items? Kat could use the ring, and be all but immune to Kereek's Fireball (if his Save DC is 19 or lower she'd pass on a 2+). Also, it would return a +2 Ring of Protection to the party stores. (Kat would lose one point of AC as well.)

Darkvision could be handy for one of us humans. Agnar can always use extra arrows. Lesser restoration should go to a front-liner for those times when I can't get a spell off when it's needed.

I'd like one of the potions of fly.

I can use the mwk dagger, two of the potions of cure moderate, and one potion of fly.

I think the ring of evasion should go to Prazil.

Busy week for me. My posting may (though may not) be spotty.

Another busy period; will do my best but posting may be a bit spotty over the next few days.

With the DNC and a few people off work, this is likely to be a long week for me. I still plan to try to update every day (probably starting tomorrow), but if I miss a day, that's why.

My schedule gets a little crazy the next few weeks.

I'm off to NYC tomorrow, though may have time to update if I'm not too tired when I get home.

Then I'm working day shifts all next week; I'm hoping I have energy to update when I get home Monday and Tuesday.

Wednesday, the ol' ball and chain gets home from med school for 10 days, so I don't expect to update at all Wednesday-Friday nights (Aug. 17-19).

After that, I'm on vacation until Aug. 28. Usually we take a little time to ourselves each day so I'd say there's a 50/50 chance of me updating during that time Aug. 20-28.

Then I have to go to Hartford for training Aug. 29-31. I think I'll have time to update those days but I'll be using a work laptop, so am not 100 percent sure.

I expect to resume normal posting behavior Sept. 1, and don't think I'll have anything to disrupt it again until mid-October.

My schedule isn't nutso like Mott's up above, but I am on the road all weekend starting this afternoon and I won't be able to post.

A couple of questions:
1) Where is my animal companion, Fang?
2) What is this "kinbonded +1 composite longbow (attuned to Katerina--no soft cover (+2 Str)"? I can't find "kinbonded" in the SRD.

I wanna point out that fascinate is targeted, not AoE.

1) Fang is currently in a state of plot-limbo only achievable by NPCs and the occasional forgotten PC.
2) Perhaps it should be 'Kereek-bonded', meaning that time Kereek 'accidentally' 'bonded' with your bow. He's very sorry; that bow was NOT a giving lover.

3) Welcome to the game! I apologize in advance for what we're about to do.

I have one answer for you: The kinbonded bow allows you to ignore cover from one particular ally.

I think the PCs here usually leave their animal companions outside of buildings, because of their large size.

Fang had been coming along for a while, and I think he's still medium sized, but he's sat out the last two dungeons with Spike just due to logistics. He was with Agnar when we came up from the dungeons here, though.

As Prazil notes, Fang's got kind of the familiar vibe going on, that he's around when he's remembered and not when he's forgotten. He can be with you at the moment. And you can -- after getting the situation settled in the throne room -- rejoin the others upstairs.

As for fascinate, she's target anyone who entered after you came in splattered with blood...

Right. I knew there was a maximum target limit, and there is! One person per three levels.

Mott: could you add me to the Players tab of this campaign, please?

I think you just need to dot the gameplay thread for that to happen.
