-Picking up from the Last Accounting (when Orin left and Coterie joined)-
5 doses of restorative ointment (pretty sure we burned through most if not all of these though?)
We did. I already had one jar, so we're not really down any resources.
eye of the void
This went to Agnar, but more so that someone had the chance to make use of it than anything else. It's not really in his idiom. I think we're better off selling it.
January 5th, 2016 - Vordakai Vanquished! (for now?)
1st ring - ring of protection +2
2nd ring - ring of friendshield
Is it a pair of rings of friend shield? They only work if you have the pair. If so, then I suggest putting one on Agnar, and the other on either Prazil or Katerina. Agnar would like the other ring, if no one else is interested, and will drop a +1 ring into party treasure for someone to take or to add to the treasure divvy.

Agnar Hrolfson |

I think the second +2 Prot went to Kat; she can milk one point of AC out of it, but if forced to choose would keep her Ring of Lovely Colors for the shapeshifting abilities.
Ah, that's right. Carry on, then. I'll grab the dust of dryness if no one else is interested. Just in case we run into another part of the adventure where we almost drown in a trap or get beaten down by a water elemental...

I'd meant to update the inventory log last night but fell asleep in my chair within minutes of finishing dinner. =\
I'll endeavor to update this all tonight!
-----
As for dust of dryness, I was in a game once where one of my fellow PC's was in the act of being swallowed whole by a dragon while the rest of us were dealing with its young. Not knowing what else to do, while still in its mouth, he deployed a whole bag of dust of dryness in a panic.
Our GM, thinking quickly, had the dragon spit him out then while rasping, "These elves are making me *thirsty*!"
We lol'd and lol'd and lol'd. =)

Prazil |

Oh dang - I just caught the part about us missing the 2nd half of the ring of friend shield pair. Shoot! Missing that cost us a ton of coin! =(
---
Without the ring of friend shield, that leaves us with a haul of 109,239 gp. That then breaks down into 27,309.75 for the four of us (not you yet Marcelline, sorry! =P).
If you want something in the spoils that hasn't already been claimed, feel free to take it and just deduct the sale price from your take.
(For instance, Prazil will heed Kereek's wisdom and keep the ring of feather falling, so his cut will be 27,309.75gp -1,100gp = 26,209.75gp)
I'll pop a separate post up in a bit for how Prazil intends to spend his coin. And when everyone has their coin all well and spent, I'll update the inventory log (linked in all of Prazil's header bars)!

Prazil |

Previous GP total: 1,536.44
Latest Cut: +27,309.75
=28,846.19
-2,950 (huge +2 chain shirt barding)
-6,750 (add energy resistance (fire) to Prazil's dragonhide armor)
-1,100 (keep ring of feather falling)
-1,500 (have Kereek improve Prazil's armor to +2)
-1,500 (have Kereek improve Prazil's shield to +2)
-3,000 (have Kereek improve Prazil's lance to fey-bane)
-4,000 (have Kereek improve Prazil's hammer to +2)
-6,000 (market price to add giant strength +2 to Prazil's new tauric belt) I spent this gold just to not have to fiddle with my macros/math whenever I switch belts
= 2,046.19 left
Happy to throw this remainder at any restoratives the group thinks we might need. Like a wand or two of cure light wounds?

Kereek! |

Okay, my proposed purchases are:
Lesser intensified metamagic rod 3,000 gp
Rod of Flame Extinguishing 15,000 gp
Kereek would like to build an aviary. He'll spend 10,000 gp to build a place where birds can roost and citizens can come to stroll through their habitats. He figures paying his feathered spies back for their service is a good idea.

That's fine, Kereek; I'd say don't worry about spending money on it. It could probably be its own building, but since we're doing kingdom-in-the-background, I'll just say it's added to the castle.
Let's try to get everything picked out and get underway on Sunday, Monday at the latest, please? I'd like to get going again. (Though I may not be able to post on Tuesday; not sure yet.)

Katerina the Maid |

Here's the list, then:
Upgrade +2 DEX belt to +4
12k
Upgrade +2 Aldori Sword to +2 Holy (Kereek's Help)
12k
Upgrade +2 Mithril Chain Shirt to +3 (Kereek's Help)
2.5k
I will have a new Kat posted later :)
Otherwise, all ready!

Katerina the Maid |

oh, one last thing... Swapping Combat Expertise for Iron Will this should cost me 10x10x5=500 gold to do so :)
I have not used CE, and I think I will get better mileage out of Crit Feats rather than technique feats :)

Marcelline Bryne |

Sorry for totally skipping out on giving advice!
I was gonna suggest a belt of physical might +2 (Str and Dex) for Agnar (so that he can use Skybolt) and boots of the cat for everyone without boot slots.
Then I was gonna look through some stuff, but I just never got around to it.
I'll get to posting here in a sec.

Marcelline Bryne |

I didn't read Piranha Strike closely enough (I thought it applied to finesse-able weapons) so I'm trading that out for another feat.
I can't use it as I use a two-handed weapon.
Anyway, I'm looking now.
I'm going with Demon Hunter - I know it's not the best and it might not come up, but it's flavorful as hell.

Marcelline Bryne |

The difference being, what? An Aldori Duelist's in love with his sword but a rapier's just a pointy stick?
Marcelline wouldn't care for the difference, tbh.

Kereek! |

Dude, that's rough. I have a cat I've had longer than pretty much all my relationships. He just got old one day and went blind and deaf. I'm having to accept that he's not going to live forever. Pets are family. It's not easy. Take your time.

Hey guys, a couple scheduling notes:
I'll be out of town and away from my keyboard Feb. 14-19 for a trip to see the ol' ball and chain. Looking forward to breaking out the short sleeves. (Marcelline, my wife's at med school in the Caribbean...)
My posting may be spotty the rest of this week, though I'll still endeavor to update daily. I've got a deadline coming up and a number of things to do before heading down, as well as a couple vet appointments for my dog.

Marcelline Bryne |

That's either a great place to be in med school or a terrible place to be in med school, depending on how sad you get at missing out on awesome beach parties.
Alright, that's fine :D And you don't need to worry about me being impatient. I'm not.

Prazil |

Hey folks, sorry for my absence Friday and my silence over the weekend. Weekends typically keep me away from the boards for the most part, but Friday some new, stricter rules came down from on high at the office. In addition to us now only being allowed to have have covered, company-branded coffee mugs on our desks (RIP circa 1989 Batman mug!) we're also no longer allowed to have our cell phones at our desks.
That puts something of a damper on my ability to participate in the boards regularly through the day and rather limits me to my lunch break.
I'm sneaking this up in the kitchen while making another cup of company branded coffee. I'll try and get up to speed in-game a little later!

Agnar Hrolfson |

Man, that bundle deal is really wreaking havoc on connectivity.
Anyway, I suggest we raise the militia and then ask for volunteers to bolster defenses (and maybe get Marcelline to come forward that way).
If the attackers are coming from across the river, we should have defenders at the bridge, that way they can only cross so many at a time, or get bogged down wading through if they use the ford. I'll need to familiarize myself with the mass combat rules so I know how we fit into the equation.

Marcelline Bryne |

I think that some sort of map of the town that we could look at, as well as a census of how many/who is willing to help and what their skillsets are would be very helpful.
For example, if we've got 5 people who know how to use bows... then we can place some bowmen in high, protected places!

Prazil |

Unless I'm mis-reading things, the encroaching force is on the east side of the river (our side) and coming from the north, yes?
If so, the bridge will avail us nothing. We'll need to either meet them in the woods or hold them outside Tatzlford's puny looking stone walls.
If they hug the river bank, we might be able to spring an ambush of sorts and pin them with their backs to the water. A dragon swooping down from on high at that point combined with a Huge triceratops charging up river, an aldori swordmistress dancing through their midst, and whatever Marcelline's tricks might be could break them.
If that's wrong and they're in fact on the West side, then yeah - the bridge seems to be the way to go. We can have a jazzy finger-snap-off too as they approach!

Agnar Hrolfson |

If they're coming from that direction, then yeah, that should work. The militia can line up behind the walls, or station themselves on the rooftops, and pepper the enemy from a distance while we move in. If they come through the woods that will break up any formations and let us pick them off easier in combat, even if it provides them with cover from the archer fire.

Marcelline Bryne |

Marcelline's of the "end fights before they begin" variety of swordmaidens.
There's no way that five of us are going to be able to take on all of them, or even occupy all of an entire force, all by ourselves... right?
I mean, we could certainly try.
