Ah Ha! What have I not been doing?! We went to Spokane, did a bunch of shopping. Then in the evenings I spent a lot of time with my son, just playing and having fun! Work side, I have been slacking on grades and trying to catch up with that. I have NCCE webinars and Whole Child Virtual Summit videos to watch. I got a hair cut today. Yesterday I survived through school but by then my stomach had gotten completely rotten, like a one day flu... It could have been the food I ate... food poisoning... at least it was mild. Still on the mend from that and preparing to teach a new section of Science which does take a lot more prep than normal. Yeah I haven't had much time to post in the last two days. I switched my day around so I am back in work to do prep and with a functioning computer to easily do posts.

I am still here, the other game he is running has a similar message about being on break.
This is his message on the other game:
I have to apologize again... there is just so much on my plate right now. I hope to get a post up tomorrow. We will see! I am swamped with grades, extra work, trainings, and more grades. I was able to see my uncle I haven't seen in 6 months... and that was really my free night. Time will tell. I know next week I should get more posts in with spring break.
At least that is how I feel. I am sorry and apologize for the three week absence. First off grade put a damper on everything. Next my spring break was the opposite of how I felt I would have time. It was nice being in the 90+ degree weather in Arizona with a pool nearby. I was occupied with family on the first two days as we celebrated Easter. Also these family members we haven't seen for years. The rest of the week was not as packed but I took time to just enjoy being with family. Lastly, we get back and sickness hits my wife hard and I have to step up that much more to take care of our son. We do get home but not when I was expecting and had to cram to get grades done. Then this week I got sick, likely from all the stress and late nights. I finally feel back to my normal today. Allergies are still present! Ahhhh!
I hope to get in a few posts today for all my games. Especially those still stuck in combat. I would appreciate a quick check in post to make sure all players are still around and ready to play. Included in that post you can add how you are liking the present mode of the game. I know some of the games have kinda been railroaded and if you want to get more back to the main plot of the game or whatnot I would like to know.
I hope this finds you all in good health and ready to get back to the games!
If you are asking for suggestions on the game, my main one is to make the PC's the stars of the action, and the NPC's have supporting roles. This will hopefully help the complexity of the battles, where it is often very difficult for me to determine what is going on.
Also, in the future a quick note in discussion if you are going to be absent for an extended period would be good. I have been in several games where the DM just stopped responding--some where they kept playing other games, some where they disappeared off the forums entirely--and that tends to lose players/kill games.
Oh I know that very well, and my intention was to post during Spring Break. The first two days were super involved. Then I should have posted on Wednesday that it was not going to work out. Again sorry for not forewarning you about my absence.
I hope Seraphina gets back... the campaign she has been running with me as a player has slowed down to a halt even before spring break.
So that you know, Hundor is going to be in his fiefdom for a while so he will be fading into the background. Olivira will likely stay with him. The barbarians and elf parties will likely go their own ways once free of the tower. Thus leaving Sable as my only DMPC with the group as an active NPC. I believe... unless someone has other plans... XD
So, what exactly is going on? Ingvarr and the barbarians were trying to climb up into the next room...Did they make it? Where were they when the sounds of combat started—on the rope, in the room, waiting their turn, etc.? I need some narrative description of the situation before I can decide how Ingvarr will react.
Okay Rognar, I thought you had just used one of your quick enlarges to get Tessara up to the ledge. But that works in his favor until the narrow path... I guess he could squeeze in the 5 foot wide hallways.
I finished with grades and have been finishing up with teacher end of year material. Almost ready for summer posting!!! I plan on posting a whole bunch more!
I am waiting for Round 7 actions.
I rolled out the enemies, Sable's and Hundor's actions.
I don't think I have yours?
Still waiting on posts from y'all! I posted all those actions June 13th and still have been waiting. I mean we can easily call it combat over. I guess I will!
Koldur asked a question OOC on June 14th, and Ingvarr wasn't sure if the insects were down or not since the map still had them both up. We were waiting for you to respond, GM Wolf.
Let’s say Ingvarr finds a master crafted Flute, two Slowburn arrows (200 gp), five Tangleshot arrows (100 gp), a Tome of Epics (50 gp), and 150 gp worth of other bookmaking/calligraphy materials.
I am sorry team. I got hit by depression. Not sure what brought it on. I just couldn't make myself even come to the boards. I am doing better and hope to get the games rolling again soon.
Sounds good Koldur, Rognar, and Ingvarr. Rognar you may get another magical item worth 10K.
Ingvarr brought up an excellent question: where is this game going?
I am open to suggestions.
You could continue to test yourselves against the challenges of the tower.
You could return to explore the stolen lands.
You could return to the capital to craft, recoop, etc.
My preference would be to have the NPC's move into running the kingdom and the PC's go on special missions on behalf of the throne...Just my 2 cents worth.
