I war looking at the official Paizo PRD url who doesn't have that phrase.
It only says:

@ Yighuk: Everything seems correct to me.

@ Oozulla: Although Infernal Healing is not a spell from the allowed books, it was already found in a Wand by Team River as loot, so it's ok your Myrkky gained it. But for roleplaying propose this spell is something never seen by the tribe, even by the elders.

@ Szzlax: Everything is ok, a part from Savage Intuition. That Rage Power is something related to wereboards and their kin, but not available for your barbarian kobold now. Maybe in future if your party will meet... ops, spoiler... well, let's say that for now you can't take it, but in future this should change, depending on something the entire party could do.

With GMs allowance, I will correct my level up info and replace Infernal Healing with Hex Vulnerability.


Oozulla's change noted and allowed.

Infernal Healing is still a valid choice for any spellcaster capable of casting it in future. The "restriction" about role playing still applies.

Waiting for Blokpug and Ryzztyl to level up their characters. Hopefully after this holiday things will go on in the IC thread too.

About the Wand of Infernal Healing the former Team River found, it was taken by Kirtyl's player, but since that character is no longer active, Ryzztyl can retroactively add it to his gear.

About the others items you found in the adventure, aka the loot, I leave to yours IC interactions decide how to split it, but should be useful if someon of you takes actively note of it in this OOC thread to avoid, even to myself, miss something while the game goes on.

I've PMed Blokpug to see if after this holidays he is still interested in playing the game, meanwhile the rest of the party can go and decide what to do about the eggs, the loot and so on.
You still have a potential unconscious prisoner to torture/interrogate, the red kobold stabilized by Oozulla.


So, the game seems idle...
I don't want to rail road you, but this inactivity seems odd to me. You have potentially a lot of things to do:
track down the escaping red kobold, and maybe find the wyvaran; interrogate the red kobold prisoner, split or don't split the party in doing so, searching clues of what happened to the humans who you were waiting... and of course going back to the lair to bring home the eggs.
What are you going to do?

I'm waiting for Szzlax to have his move... I don't think 2 wounded enemies, one of which completely disarmed, will last more than 3 or 4 rounds against your leveled-up Green Barbarian and Red Oracle.

Actually, since you are slowed by the Eggs, the human Slave and the red Prisoner, it will take you more than 1 marching day to go back to the lair.
You should probably camp halfway in the hills, and there Szzlax and Fyrenmar could probably catch up with you too.

Hi, friends!
I have an idea and I ran it via GM and since TAU do not object, I'd like to hear your opinion on that. There was a question, what I do plan for my human slave and how to play it. Since this is a Kingmaker it might be interesting into Leadership like feats for future Kingdom control. As Oozulla would like to take a councillor or magister role, this matters for her.

So, my idea for Oozulla next development is next:
* as I level up, I'd like to take a dip into Skald class, that brings me an ability to Scribe Scrolls (useful to have some spells saved just in case) and Inspire rage in my allies (for fighters in party this may be useful);
* as well, I will try to make her RP more like a mythos and legend collector, scholar, to show her tendency to save and use knowledges of all sorts;
* finally, this gives me martial weapon prof. which is required for Squire feat, I'd like to take at 3rd level. Squire feat allows me to have 1st level martial character as cohort.

Effectively, I was thinking, to take this human and make him Honor Guard Cavalier of the Dragon (since we are dragons) and raise him as sworn protector of Oozulla (mainly) and a tribe. I think I will discard mount option for him for a while, unless we find some requirement in that.

I have several RP ideas, how human becoming a bodyguard could be presented. That involves that we spend some time in tribe caves, while Oozulla prepares a specific rithual, involves human drinking drops of kobold blood, gets a vision of a real dragon might and so on. He will get kobold racial heritage and so on.

Basically, I'd like to run this through the party, because 3 main issues here are:
* Oozulla taking Skald class will effectively weaker caster - since she has basic Charisma 10 and is unable to cast anything except cantrips from Skald's spells, until she gets to 4th level
* Oozulla taking Skald will not get 2nd level spells for another level. I do not plan to invest more than one class into Skald. There are several powerful debuffs and attack spells at 2nd level she might use.
* Human in mythic kobold party might be fragile. As well, he might not be contributing much, but steal some time and effort from other to remember he is there.

On the other hand, we play to get this story unwrapped in fun and epic way, so it might be interesting to play him as character. As well, if Oozulla dies - this tend to happen with my characters sometimes - I can continue story without introducing new link in the chain.

TL/DR: What do you think if Oozulla delay one level as witch (but will get some buffs) and will have human bodyguard?

Interesting idea. I have no objections but I do have some observations.

Consider adding the Beast Rider to the Honor Guard archetype. They stack. The Honor Guard, as you said fits the bodyguard theme, and the Beast Rider can end up with thematic mounts (4th level dinosaurs, 7th level any large or huge creature, maybe a tatzylwyrm?).

As for the Skald... You don't have the greatest charisma, so you lose the 1st level spells and have only 3 rounds of raging song. It might not be the best dip. Do you really need Scribe Scroll?

Tatzlwyrms are medium size, so a kobold can ride them without size problems, but a human will need the Undersized Mount feat.

Anyway, they are Dragons with an average Intelligence of 5, this means it's probably better to consider them as a special kind of Cohort and not as Animal Companions.

@Ryzztyl: Thanks for Beast Rider. I wasn't sure those could be taken together.

As for the Skald: I do need full martial weapon prof. to take Squire feat. Possible options are numerous, but they do not contribute much to the party.

Barbarian, Paladin - locked due to alignment
Fighter (extra combat feat, nor that I need it), Ranger (favourite enemy?), Cavalier or Samurai (challenge?) - do not contribute much as well
Gunslinger, Hunter - require Wisdom to benefit and don't have that as well.
Magus - might be another option. But to make him shine it requires more than 1 level. I was looking at Hexcrafter archetype.

Finally, I decided to go with pure Skald, and then take at 4th level, put 1 point in Charisma to get this 1st level cast once per day back.

Have I missed something? I think, my current plan is pretty OK, I just need to RP with chief of the tribe, that I plan to perform old ritual of scales.

If you were going to dip (primarily to get scribe scroll) why not dip Wizard? They get it and then you would still get to cast 1st level spells. Just a thought.

I went back through this thread and the River team thread and I think these are all the items we've found :

Music Box
Furs/hides

4x scrolls (2 off each Wyvaran)
1x potion
1x Wand of Infernal Healing (32 charges)
Silver Amulet
Chain shirt (medium sized)

There was some additional armor but I don't think we would have been lugging it back. The wand should cover use for healing for now (Oozulla can you use it?). We'll need to appraise the earrings, Music Box and furs/hides and identify the scrolls and potion.
