Computers Check: 1d20 + 5 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 5 + 2 + 1 = 10 Failing to do so. The shields stay as they are.

ROUND THREE ENGINEERING
Captain Yuluzak calmly says to his pilot "Hey, can you please not get so close to the GIANT EXPLODING SPACE ROCKS?! But other than that, keep it up." He then takes a deep breath. "Engineering, I know this is hard, but can you get some power to the shields? Like today? And get me a damage readout, stat"

yeah, it's an additional shot on the arc of your choice at full gunnery value from the arc of your choice. Each gun can only be fired once per round. So you pick an arc you normally don't get to use and do it. Your DC is 18 (15 + (1.5 x tier (2))) and you have an additional +2 you didn't factor in (+1 ship and +1 from computer) which leaves you at 22. Success! I had to check the SRD since they updated the DCs on some things recently. I wish they let the pilot snap shot during combat when other gunners are aboard.

Not that it matters with this failed roll, but is it allowed to encourage rolls that have already been made? In this case I would have liked to aid engineering to fix shields (especially since I saw the roll). But in pbp acting in proper order is slightly difficult...

It's treated like an assist. So you should roll it in the phase it happens in. Since we have a staggered posting due to PBP, I'll allow it after because we need to be flexible in these timings.

Computers: 1d20 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 5 + 2 = 21 Success! Our Aft shields are now at 4 and our forward shields are +6 higher. Can I get a final shields readout please? I'm not sure what they're at.
EDIT: The stats for our pegasus are different between slides 3 and 5. Do we have 60 shields overall with 15 in each quadrant to start, or 40 shields in all with 10 in each quadrant to start? I calculated the shield points tranferrance based on 40 shield points overall, which means I need to leave a minimum of 4 shield points in each quadrant if I transfer shield points around. If it's 60 shields we have total, instead I need to keep a minimum of 6 in each quadrant, so instead of moving 6 she would have moved 9 points from the aft shields to the forward shields.

Really sorry about the confusion - the slide was the Tier 4 Pegasus - I removed it. You are using the Tier 2 Pegasus for your APL. The sheet is the correct one 10 in all arcs. That's my fault, when I bootlegged the slide deck, I forgot to remove it, sorry :(
