Id rushes downstage of the mecha. That thing hits like a truck! Let's try to bring it down quick! He conjures a mote of starlight that immediately flies over to the machine and begins distracting it.

Move to square, standard cast wisp ally to impose harrrying fire on the mecha (-2 to AC for 4 rounds).

Raatchet yells out to the crowd, "And this is for our main man, Wilson the guard! Folks, this mecha didn't properly check in its weapons. See what happens when you don't follow the instructions of your friendly neighborhood Wilson?"

With the Tsuchi-ko inspiration gone, Raatchet reverts to a more standard tactic. He activates combat tracking on the pink mecha, then fires off an overcharged shot at it!

[dice=Laser rifle vs EAC, tracking] 1d20 +7+1
[dice=Fire damage]1d8+3+1d6
[dice=Fire damage, critical]1d8+3+1d6
[dice =Burn damage] 1d6

Does this mean it gets 3 burns stacked on it?? Yikes!

yes :) 3d6 burn, I'l roll it on its turn - and the dice roller seems to love you on this fight

The attack strikes a key point on the SMOV causing damage and increasing the already significant fire.

The mecha seems distracted by the motes, unable to track incoming threats efficiently

No, Thomagar was still up at 2hp, now 8hp thanks to Delea's healing. I'm at a dilemma. If it keeps coming at me, Thomagar will go down next round. But if I move away, it will just go for someone else.

Sorry, in my previous post, I forgot to add the +1 attack from Tsuchi-ko. I doubt it would, but would Thomagar have hit AC15?

Thomagar was caught completely unprepared as the light construct slices into his body twice with its large energy sword. The shock almost brings him to his knees. Delea's healing magic brings some comfort though. His first instinct is to retreat, but he sees Delea just behind him, and he can't leave her to this monster. Instead, he staggers forward and slams his glowing palm twice against the construct.

A miss, then a hit. Some parts come off of the mecha and fall to the ground, turning into pink powder that then dissolves to nothing. Yet somehow the mecha still stands. The crowd cheers wildly, still oblivious that this is not part of the show.

End of combat

The music suddenly stops, and the lights on
the stage go dark. Just as the crowd begins to murmur among
themselves, the lights reappear on the stage—in the form of
life-sized holograms depicting Zigvigix’s missing friends. The
band suddenly starts up a never-before heard song, in a surprise
memorial that Strawberry Machine Cake managed to create 10
minutes before the concert.

“Hello, everyone!” CAPTAIN✶CARMINE’s voice calls out,
prompting a deafening roar from the crowd. “Hello, Songbird
Station! Hello, everyone watching! We love all of you!”
“Today, we found out we had some fans who didn’t make it
here because of a tragedy,”
the lead singer continues, causing
the audience to quiet down. “These brave Starfinders were lost
in the Scoured Stars system a few months ago. Their friend
brought their holograms here so they could still be with us
today. So, I want you to get ready to cheer for them! Cheer so
loudly that they can hear us, even out in the Scoured Stars! Let’s
let them know we love them!”
At that, the crowd erupts into an
even more deafening roar, with people from every corner of the
Pact Worlds, the Veskarium, and beyond yelling at the top of
their voices.
“That’s right!” CAPTAIN✶CARMINE cuts through the
screaming cheers. “Everyone, get ready to cheer one more time!
Because not only are the missing Starfinders with us here in
spirit, their friends are here with us in the flesh as well, and they
just saved our concert and Songbird Station! Everyone, give it
up for the Starfinder Society!”

Thomagar, right in front, take the brunt of the blast and falls unconscious. Sometime later (two rounds to be precise - one to stablise, and one to recover, using 2 RP), he slowly comes back to consciousness and crawls back upon his feet. Only to be overwhelmed by the rousing cheers...

If he stood his ground, there would have been no way for the ysoki to drag him forward, but perhaps he is still groggy from his near death experience. Or perhaps, somewhere within, the lashunta does like some attention after all...

Well, he is an icon, after all...

It's irrelevant to the encounter's outcome but I believe technically, the burning damage is applied at the beginning of the target's turn. So the mecha probably would've succumbed to the fire before getting the shot off and Thomagar would've remained standing, looking pretty darn victorious and heroic as the mecha crumbled down!

Though Stiehle has seen online adulation thrown his way due to his successes as a vidgame player, only once before as he performed before a live audience (well, and there was the minor disaster before a televised audience that he still gets irritated about sometimes). The operative sees how this sort of life could get very addictive as he grins and bows alongside the others, once he helps Thomagar to his feet.

Once he surmises that they've about stayed as long as they should, Stiehle heads off stage, still waving as he taps Raatchet on the shoulder. "Time to go big guy. I think our fifteen minutes are about done. For now, at least." Shaking his head at the strange life he has led since joining the Starfinders, he heads off to say goodbye to the Najagi girls and make sure they're still OK. Though he plans to avoid those skittermanders, if possible...

"First, I have to thank my fellow teammates! Thomagar for being the strong, big man up front. Ba'hob for being my fellow numbers guy. Id for being the ever reliable one. And of course my two fellow Anna Bananas, forever partners in crime - Delea and Stiehle!"

Raatchet continues, "And thank you to all my Venture-Captains for believing in me by sending me out on dangerous missions where I typically have a slim to none chance of surviving. You saw potential in me when others only saw a TPS reports writer..." Raatchet tears up a little.

Raatchet then continues, "And thank you to all those who made today possible! The cute little nagaji girls! The horrifying pink skittermander mob and their vesk caretakers! The oddly misguided and culturally tone deaf hespers! And the easy to please security guard, Wilson! You guys are all stars in my book!"

Raatchet just doesn't stop, "Wassup to my third cousin once removed, Arratoi! You were always the center of attention at family reunions but look who's on stage now!! And big ups to my fifth cousin Ratatat! I know you're just starting up your career but hang in there buddy! Also heya to my cousin Naboh! Strangely, he seems to be everyone's first cousin."

Raatchet goes on!??!?! "And to others I'd like to mention while I'm here on stage.. Ceobarn, I love you, you big grouch! Zo! How ya doin' my man? We gotta do lunch again sometime! Envar, I've got some 'product' to share with you! Philt, I swear I'll get back to you soon with those TPS reports - I'm not dawdling, I swear! Ratrod and Laboni, I'm proud of how nice you two are playing with each other nowadays!"

Raatchet seems to be wrapping up.... "And finally, thank you to the band without whom we all wouldn't have gathered here today, Strawberry Machine Cake! Good night everyone and have a safe drive home!!"

But after that, Raatchet continues to bow and blow kisses to the crowd, showing no signs of getting off stage. He seems to think that the Starfinder team was the closing act...not the opening one...

If the lights or the speaker system shuts down on him at any point, he tries to hack into it so that he can continue. If he fails, he'll turn on his comms light to light himself up and he'll shout at the top of his lungs to finish his monologue...

Thomagar stands under the spotlight, rather motionless. It almost feels like he is frozen by the attention, until you notice his eyes scanning the crowd carefully, and the cameras as well. As a sculptor of some renown, attention is not unknown to him, but he usually let his pieces speak, not him. So when it's his turn (whenever Raatchet lets anyone else speak), he says utters four words, "Do good, be good." He bows and steps back stage.

Rest of Thomagar's 1 minute allocation will be transfered to Raatchet. :)

Stiehle takes a bow as he spotlight strikes him, the operative unable to suppress a wince as he usually avoids being seen directly this. Whether moving about in the shadows or in the open but disguised, he is more comfortable operating away from the forefront.

Though thoughts of his father flit through his mind briefly, Stiehle has become very aware over the last few months of his service to the Starfinders that there is much more out there beyond his own needs and desires. He speaks from the heart as he calls out. "Know that the Starfinders are doing everything we can to learn more about the Scoured Stars tragedy, and together we will find the truth of what happened. If those that have gone missing are still alive and can be saved, we will do exactly that. But we need your help! Any information you can give us, no matter how small or unimportant you think it might be, contact us at Absalom Station and let us know! Together, we can all be part of something much bigger than any of us!"

Then he watches Raatchet speak on... and on... and uncomfortably on... Rolling his eyes and grumbling under his breath, Stiehle reaches out and tugs firmly and the ysoki's tail, dragging him off stage if need be as he whispers to his friend. "Hey Raatchet, you're going to start a riot here if you don't let that Blueberry Cheesecake group start singing. Time to go, man!"

***EPILOGUE***

The silence of space lies in stark contrast to the clamor of
the concert, and the starry void outside of the starship’s
viewscreens is even more striking when compared to the bright pink
lights of the quickly vanishing Songbird Station. Historia-7
seems relieved by the respite from the noise and chaos, using the
quiet to concentrate on streams of information on her computer.

Even Zigvigix seems happy to be away from the crowd. “Today
has been a productive day for you, hasn’t it!”
the shirren says,
still hopelessly excited by recent events, despite their clear
exhaustion.

“Uncovering conspiracies, fighting alien technology,
and saving Songbird Station. I’m not sure how either you or the
band are going to be able to top that next time! But I have faith
that you can do it. Good luck!"

“You know...” Zigvigix continues, their psychic voice turning
soft. “I haven’t felt this way in a long time.” The shirren stands to
return to the piloting console, turning only for a moment to add,
“Hey, Historia-7, get some rest,” before they depart.
