Jin Hebimoto |

Jin nods to Hawkeye and bows to Sifu before leading the group to a fairly isolated room once more to inform Brother Hawkeye of the situation much like he did with the previous members. Finally ending with this, " Alright, with Brother Hawkeye aware of this mission being a diplomatic one with all the dangers of our previous venture know that we will have a about to days more to recover. I will petition the Elder for our Needs such as the Tent and spades needed to bury the cache. You can use that time to do whatever , on the Third day however we shall set out in the morning and attempt to establish relations with the Hobgoblins. I assume anyone understands. At which point as you were, if you have anything at all, you can come to me I should be openly available. Save for when I am Sparring or Hunting. " Jin looks to everyone to affirm the choice was openly acknowledged and accepted then bowed to them.
" I hope I represent you all well and am glad I am acceptable if so chosen to do this "

Lan Minerva |

Lan was his typical aloof self, even with the Sifu. He inclined his head only slightly before leaving each time they visited, and always seemed more interested in the surroundings than the person. He remained quiet until it became apparent Jin wanted a response to leaving, to which Lan simply nodded, before slipping away to do inscrutable Lan-things. Like trapping, and watching people. And not waiting.

Jin Hebimoto |

Jin nods but waves the accusation away, " It is not simply injuries, but rather gathering implements, planning and reflection upon the current situation. Getting used to what we have experienced and relaxation from the previous stress of near-death. Our venture this time shall be much more prepared. Either way it is a necessity. Take some time off and recuperate, I plan to. "
Jin saw Lan off as well as any others and went along his way to other portions of the Temple he had many different tasks to complete as well as arrangements to fix. After the Pelts were tanned he would find a buyer if possible. As well as a leather worker or tailor, as he intended to add the allure of the Winter Wolf fur to his current attire.

Brother Hawkeye |

"I do require a decent set of cold weather gear, I have been here in the temple to long, and as I tend to practice in little gear, even at these temperatures I lack decent travelling cold attire as I always have some place to go if I need heat. So a nice cold weather outfit would be greatly welcomed." Hawkeye informs as he sees his gear being brought his way by a young adept.

Zaralastra |

Speaking of which, wouldn't it be cool if an airship could drop us off at a mission site then pick us up again afterwards when the mission is complete.

Jin Hebimoto |

Well we arent Ravens... Or Armored Cores (Save for Jin).. But if we could that would be sweet, airdrop us on the target. Sortie commence.
Jin would keep the words of the group in mind as he prepares.

Jin Hebimoto |

Alright, order of importance go
The Two days are spent by Jin for massive preparation. He sets up a meeting with the Elder once more to inform him of the decision and addition of a new member along with equipment needed to be given, ropes, tents, spades, firewood, etc. The rest of that Day was spent finding buyers for the Pelts and the general prices he would get for them. The evening had him crafting a present for the earlier boy and figuring out how to repay the waitress at The Eye.
Appraise(Pelts): 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19
If Profession Tanner would apply or you would rather me change to Prof Leather Worker Add +4
Craft(Rabbitskin pouch): 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12
The next two were usual gathering of supplies in the wild and crafting of Elixirs, with the increase in members it was even more needed to do so. he spent a total of 12 hours each day on this, the remaining four or so on daily duties and sparring, along with checking the status of his pelts and the equipment the Elder would provide.

On the 3rd Day Jin gathers the party and procures the materials needed to travel that mission, he would finish any other loose ends before travel however. The party would notice he had much more flasks and had a determined look upon him.. as always. He had visited the temple and used their curative services.

Lan Minerva |

Everything Jin tries to do automatically fails, because he is post 666.

Also, the tent is a good idea, but it would easily weigh 100lbs, and the stove another 50. Firewood is also pretty heavy, you may want to consider just gathering some on site.
Is the rest of the group doing anything for these next couple of days, or just biding the time?

Zaralastra |

Basically just hanging around with Jin, waiting for everyone to get ready. I don't think I need anything more than what I already obtained for the previous mission.

Lan Minerva |

Craft: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (8) + 9 = 17
Craft: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (14) + 9 = 23
Lan's two work days, with crafting traps for the use of the village.

Jin Hebimoto |

Luckily Jin uses medium and heavy armor thats alot of weight! I assume a quiver of arrows is free of charge as well. Also Was that 10 gp for the Snowleaopard or the Winter wolf?
Jin thank Zara for what seems like unbridled confidence in thae man's abilities. Jin imparts upon Zara his current plan of where to bury the cache and offers him any Elixirs on his person, well aware the Psion can recover himself somewhat. The massive equipment seems to on his shoulder but Jin perseveres.
" And now we simply wait for the others "

Lan Minerva |

I dunno. As I wasn't really aiming for a CR trap so much as the rough equivalent of fur traps and the like, I just figured I'd leave the DC/quality up to you. A CR 1 trap costs 330gp, just as an example, to make. Simple snares and the like was the goal, which is basically more of a 'how many can I make?' thing than a 'how long will it take me to make one' thing. :)

Zaralastra |

Speaking of arrows, can I assume I've replaced the 2 arrows I wasted trying in vain to hit the Winter Wolf? Or maybe just recovered them from the scene of the battle?

Zaralastra |

The plan seems sound. I would only emphasize the importance of balancing the need to have the cache be well hidden versus our own need to be able to find it quickly. In that regard, we should keep in mind that creatures in the vicinity of the cache may have senses different from, or superior to, our own.
As to the elixirs, let us distribute them for the optimal benefit of the Party as a whole. I am among the least likely to need healing elixirs, in part because I can heal myself psionically and in part because I take pains to avoid melee combat. Such elixirs would be best allocated to a front line combatant such as yourself. But I would certainly welcome any elixirs granting some sort of mental enhancement.

Jin Hebimoto |

" With masterful use of my brain I am able to access it's fuller capability by bringing up information accurately much like journey or picture bok of sorts. The location, distance and condition will be preserved in my mind through use of Autohypnosis, Zaralastra. " Jin reassured the Elan man.
" I thought it would be best to mention such to you as the reasoning is less for you own benefit as it is spreading the capability to multiple persons in the Party. For exactly the reasons you have specified, you would tend to be out of danger and with the quagmire of martial combat positioning may be key to survival. Unlike myself some others have a much lower tolerance to pain and much like Elisa from the deadly encounter with the wolf, may collapse. As such having an Elixir on your person could be used to raise them to which they could use their own to return to functioning status. On mental boosters I am sorry to say I have no such ability. "

Zaralastra |

I was also going to suggest that I could leave my Psicrystal hidden near the cache. Obviously it could not defend the cache in any way, but it could alert us if the cache were to be discovered, provided we were within a mile of it. But given your tracking and location abilities, perhaps that is unnecessary.
As to the healing elixirs, I'll take one and leave the rest for the others.

Jin Hebimoto |

Jin hands Zara a lesser Extra one of which lasts 5 days from this current time.
" Ah yes a psycrystal is most useful in that capability though you would be limiting yourself in such a decision. The grand scheme of things would be to make sure this ends well but prepare for the worst. The elixir I gave you was simply a lesser creation, the more potent flasks shall be given to the ones with the greatest threat of Danger. If possible equally spreading the potency throughout the group in that order."

Jin Hebimoto |

how much is gold considered in this town alot or a little? Im selling the snow leopard definitely though. I assumed the might be more for size but doesn't matter.

Zaralastra |

Why yes, Elisa, of course I would be happy to suggest what I know about the sorts of things the Goblin tribe may value.
Knowledge(Local): 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (4) + 10 = 14
Or maybe that's a take 10 or take 20 action?

Zaralastra |

The Goblins value slaves and quality weapons. The former poses an obvious moral problem but perhaps we should convert some of the money to weaponry before setting out on our mission.

Jin Hebimoto |

Yes I was gunna say we can just give them the bow.
" While I understand servitude, slavery is much more than I'd want. As for weaponry we have another bargaining chip in that case. " Motioning to the bow.
