Thanks.

I'll have to look into that. and ask a gm or two I know about their personality traits.

And look into ways to potentially use maybe a chakram (just sounds so amusing. and from an image I saw once...) spending a feat on using it would suck. There are two traits that make non profienct usuable. Arms Master (Tiefling) and Quicklearner (equipment trait). Sadly I'm not a tiefling.

Chakram is a martial weapon? So simply take a class with martial proficiency

Hum. I'm having a hard time figuring out Kobold social stuff/personality stuff. The PRD's entry on them isn't really very clear. Trying to figure out a backstory..

At the very least trying to figure out if bookish kobolds exist haha. Every char i've made so far has had some aspect of book. (as i'm rather book obsessed in real life)
Anyone know a good place to figure kobold life out?

Previous Kobold experiences in past games are sorta.. biased on insanity and borderline animalistic/evil. Which doesn't seem quite right

Some tidbits from Kobolds of Golarion:

*They venerate dragons and aspire to be dragon-like.
*They have a communistic society with a few personal possessions but a strong tribal bond.
*Because they are physically weak, they are very cautious and oriented towards surviving.
*They have a bit of an inferiority complex.
*They send the weak and unproductive to the front lines--this ends up enhancing their reputation for cowardice and weakness since those are the kobolds most others encounter.

I think you could be bookish; certainly they are dedicated miners and craftsmen (craftslizards?).

This seems like a good opportunity for someone to use the flying talon.

I could see Neemer making good use of that thing if he ever became proficient with it.

Some more items from Kobolds of Golarion:

* They are expert trappers and sometimes engineer tunnel cave-ins to make 2 sets of enemies come into conflict.
* They have excellent sense of direction.
* They are poisonous or distasteful to most predators.
* They can eat anything they can chew.
* Tribal laws depend on the chief, who can be an elder, sorcerer, priest, warrior...

Well here is this guy anyway. Mytth weavers is easier for my records. I intend to have a mini bar on my posts with spoiler for the stat info.

Zazz Hopefully I did it correctly. I've not played a small character prior.
Generally the fine detail on abilities is in the additional info on the very bottom area.

also thanks Klyx. This'll be an interesting culture haha.

Since I'm new to PBP I figure I'd like to be a less influential clan member.

Zazz characteristics and build notes:

Zazz wasn't anything particularly special, he has had moments of cleverness. On the occasions where they found writings he enjoys reading it. Despite having an enjoyment for reading he isn't especially smart, but he's quite good at learning. As evidenced by his choice of weapons Chakram. Upon hearing about it it amused him and he learned how to spin it and has at times just spun them watching them shiny spin. Zazz has had problems with shiny distractions.
Zazz is extremely curious about the book the Cheif has. and has always wanted to read it-to the point where hes gotten in trouble before.
Despite being fairly charasmatic Zazz lists towards a supportive roll in group dynamics. Zazz has learned not to be the center of attention.

Fairly normal looks, but has small thin streaks of fushia in various places. His Gliding Wings are vibrant purple, and due to the unusual colour Zazz has learned not to show them off or use them much. Zazz's tail is shorter than most due to a mishap as a youngling and angering the wrong Kobold.

Chaotic Neutral since currently he mostly is a bit short attention span for shiny and books. Seems like a good starting point for a new race. WIth how I usually end up playing I'll likely end up closer to chaotic good in the end. Depending on what we all end up doing.

Build notes: Swash 1 and then mesmer. Generally intending to throw chakrams (just seems interesting). Nabbed weapon focus, and intending to get Slashing Grace next level for it to add dex to damage. Outside of that I'll mainly focus on trying to utilize Mesmer stuff and the spells. partially depending on what backs up the group the best. Mesmers don't have a whole lot of spells per day so I wanted some more ways to contribute and I am a 3/4bab class. Once spells get rolling a bit more I'm hoping to Debuff baddies more than other things. Most mesmer debuff spells are focused debuffs to work with the Stare mechanics. I am worried about feat issues of course. Point blank and precise shot is usually a requirements. Added with the weapon focus and chakram. Makes it difficult to have any spell related feats. Will end up seeing how stuff flows I suppose. But if we're not going past 7 or 9 I won't have a crazy amount of spells anyway

unrelated note about my original build:
Made this build a while back for a different race and game. I had wanted to get a Rod of Ice for touch attacks+painful stare ability = somewhat usuable interesting visuals. And with a touch attack I could focus much more heavily on the spell side of things.
Since thats kind of beyond these levels/game I decided to try out Chakrams. I tried them out once in pure core/apg but couldn't get them to work. With slashing grace's dex to damage and the Mesmer's painful stare I think it might work well if I can hit with it. and don't lose them all...Can't exactly carry a ton with the weight restrictions via str. It's highly likely I'll regret this choice though as my spell side will suffer.

GM note/Questions:
----
I think Chakram is valid for slashing grace? It's in the heavy blade category which is only onehanded melee weapons, the damage die is one handed sized. If it isn't I'll alter my weapon and feats prior to game. Likely start my focus on my spells earlier.

Since kobold are small size, all weapons are small sized yes?

Is this the kind of compaign where we need to gear up on stuff like. Bedrolls, food, drink, and the like?
Spent part of my money on weapon/armour. just deciding what gear we might need.

Sovereign Court

Can't think of anything so I'm withdrawing my application.

** spoiler omitted **...

1. I'm not sure on the official ruling, but I'm cool with the Chakram being compatible with Slashing Grace.

2. Yes, the weapons are small.
3. I'm not one to care about stuff like bedrolls and provisions.

Sorry for the late-ish answers, school happened.

No worries I was at school too. and work haha.

Cool beans Chakrams it is~ might have to carry quite a few haha.
and yay don't need to worry about everyday crap like that. So tools and such it is.
Thank you for the response

Okay, everyone. I will be choosing the players this evening, so if you want to make any last-minute changes to your characters, now would be the time to do so.

I opted to drop the tail terror feat because the tail would be considered a manufactured weapon because of the attachment, and that doesn't synergize well with my eventual build. I swapped it out for Extra Rage. My full build can be seen on my character screen.

I know exactly what you're talking about, and it's frustrating that they don't interact that way!

Neemer's ready for action, commander.

background:
Kneebiter found an old gun on a battlefield, and through constant use, learned to fix it… Often.

Since being useful in the tribe means survival, he has become very useful staying in the back and killing their enemies.

He currently is always making more bullets and cartridges.

I tweaked mine a bit since I first put up this alias, but he is good to go!

That Str penalty is killer, its interesting to see what kind of builds people come up with.

Yep, definitely feeling it T.T Considering it's one of my main stats, I'm really hoping to find a Str belt at some point down the road.

Alright! My decisions have been made. Our heroes are:
Garrlak the Bloodrager
Tarka the Bard
Urzan the Swashbuckler/Fighter
Neemer the Inquisitor
Klyx the Alchemist

Thanks to everyone who applied for your time and attention! Gameplay begins tomorrow.

Cool, thanks for the pick!
