Mirage replies in the common tongue, so no one would think they are plotting something. He has too many doubts over him already. "I'm not causing trouble for two reasons. First, cause I'm not a troublemaker. Second, because I'm not from this place. The locals are clearing planning something, and I'm not and don't want to be a part of it."

Hagrin had arrived at the fey celebration for some time now, following along with Daxus Drake, as others did, as apparently the region was in utmost turmoil about a goblin invasion.

I haven't been this close to Westcrown in years - he pondered while absent mindedly taking a sip of the wine being served - "Not bad at all" - he spoke to himself, enjoying the drink.

Surprised at the good humour all around, in contrast with the veritable horror stories he had heard of recent events in the region, he took the time to relax, and enjoy the celebration.

His movements lithe as he paces the area, double scimitars casually fitted around his waist, and a longbow at his back. His features seem to be perfectly chiseled, but there is definitely a tint of weariness, revealed by the several day old beard and strong brown, but disheveled hair - also his clothing seems worn and clearly packed with dirt from the road. Below it, a gleam hinting at the presence of some sort of armour. Around his neck, on a plain cord, dangles a simple bronze medallion, with a stylized Sun symbol engraved on it.

His eyes show no weariness though, glinting as he surveys the ones present, inevitably drawn to the most agitated and "colourful" table of the whole gathering. Finishing his drink, he slowly approaches the group, calmly waiting for an opportunity to chime in.

If it presents itself:

He speaks, in a calm, quiet voice - "Well met fellow travellers, I have heard word at the Dragon's Draught of your group, and your actions in the region. You do not know me, and I do not know you, and no one ever simply shares the same goals, in whatever they do" - he pauses for a moment - "So, I too have my reasons in wanting to quench the turmoil that seems to be assailing the region, and would like to offer my blade to accompany you - I am somewhat of a scout and a survivalist. I have done many things in life, as I guess most of us have, so I can't simply jot down a roster of what I do. I can handle my own in a scuffle, I can move around unseen most of the time, and I do not let a fellow companion fall if I can avoid it"

He fiddles with his medallion in face of the awkward introduction - Geeez, "I can move around unseen"... Nice going..." - then adds "My name is Hagrin Azael and... That's it I guess"

ah good more self importance.

my,my 3 more adventurers What a diner. Well then Hail and well meet Hagrin Azael. I guess i'll just have to see in the field what all of you can do. As for your question david i am here for studying purposes.

Half-orc rogue (unchained, scout) 1 - HP: 10/10

Hagrin looks first to Vuvu - "I think you have misunderstood my purpose - I was aiming more at being descriptive than complimenting myself. Then again, I have to agree, it was not the best introduction no" - he states flatly, shaking his head, then turning to Arsil - "Thank you for a way out" - he smiles - "On the field it will be then, and maybe I'll get a second chance at an introduction?" - he nods, again turning to Vuvu.

Vuvu grunts from his corner.

So we have a fool goblinoid, a quiet frog, an almost knight and a man of mystery…

He is interrupted as there is a flash from what he is working on. I'll be. It worked. He quickly stoppers a bottle and holds it up to look at it. He actually smiles.

Perception 20:
The bottle seems to contain electricity.

To Vuvu IN COMMON: My accomplishments are varied but I am able to cast spells against my enemies to help quickly kill any antagonist.

To Hagrin IN COMMON: Hagrin praising ones own accomplishments are something everyone should as long as they are worth bragging about and being silent in the woods is a good one in and of itself.

A caster. Where do you magics come from? Do you have a spell book or does it come from within or the divine?

"Arsil, do you mean burden him?" Locke pipes up, responding to Arsil as Shimmer walks off.

"That is does your armor burden you San...?" Directing the second question to Sanford.

Morgrave looks at all the new interesting mortals that are still around his massive stone table. Around it are plenty of spots for everyone and more. A large or small boulder as a place to sit.

"Do I hear you correct you wish to clean out these lands of the goblin scourge?" Morgrave asks.

The Armor and shield do case issues at times. I never had an issue were it got me into to much trouble.

Ninja'd by Sanford, Mirage addresses Morgrave's question:
"I would say yes, but I'm not included in the hunted pack. I'm not part of the scourge, you see... Anyway, Do you know why they are packing up?" - asks Mirage from his place at the table.

"I am not for sure why, but I know Helios, Vuvu, Arsil, and Locke have better guesses. Mirage are you not one of those who are now going to be hunting goblins?" Morgrave looks are you strangely and slowly cocks his head to the side.

HP: 28/54, AC: 25/T: 13/FF: 22, Perc +7, SM +2, Init +6, F: +7(+8vs poison/drugs)/ R: +5/ W: +3(+4 vs. fear/Mind), CMB: +8, CMD: 23, Speed: 20

He looks to the others and raises an eyebrow, turning back to Morgrave. "I don't know, it depends on them. Otherwise I'll hunt them on my own. But I meant I'm not part of the ones who will be slain, as they say Hobgoblins and Goblins are all very much alike." He sees the opportunity to strengthen his point and asks another question. "I'm not causing trouble, am I?"

"I have heard that hobgoblins are much more order driven and much more militaristic, rather than just a roving band of tribes. No, no trouble yet." Morgrave says.

Hp 35/40 AC 23 / 16 / 17 (+5 Perc; +6 Init; Fort +6, Ref +7, Will +5)

it is indeed our current goal to remove the goblin warrior threat from these part. Currently we have identified about 6 different marauding band Rough estimated cout give us about 70 goblins and about 20 worgs.

We will be attacking a very big settlement in the morning Morgrave and so the newcomes will have a chance to show their stuff.

Except for the fool, he can bring up the rear. I won't have him in the front, he cannot control himself.

"Ha, he he, I like you mortals, perhaps I can lend you a few items to help you on your mission?" Morgrave offers laughing at Vuvu's statement.

Well lets take a look. Vuvu says with a bit of a squint.

"A half dozen tanglefoot bags, a goblin bane short sword, a goblin bane bastard sword, a vicious composite longbow +2 str, an entangling bo staff, a potion of bull str, several potions of barkskin, a potion of nature's wrath, an elixir of the vicious leapord, a masterwork greataxe, and a staff of healing, though the staff has some nasty effects to the caster, I would not suggesting using it more than once per day." Morgrave waves his hands over the table next to him and an assortment of items appear, associated with what he just said, plus a dagger with purple liquid dripping onto the table, and three nasty bolas with barbs and thorns off of the balls.

Hp 35/40 AC 23 / 16 / 17 (+5 Perc; +6 Init; Fort +6, Ref +7, Will +5)

those indeed will be helpful Morgrave. We will be returning them once we have completed our current hunting.

A vicious Longbow?

Mirage looks at all the equipment, then buys the argument with Vuvu again, since the man seems as dumb as a rock.
"Very clever Vuvu. Very clever. Leaving the heavily armored big weapon guy in the rear! Tell me, what else is there in your smart plan? Putting children in the front line?"

He extends his hand to get the longbow. "A nice piece indeed."

Hp 35/40 AC 23 / 16 / 17 (+5 Perc; +6 Init; Fort +6, Ref +7, Will +5)

Seing the hobgoblin already grabing a weapon.

you are more then welcome to check the fine crafmenship of these weapons of course. Now could everyone please tell me what would be the most usefull weapon for you, before i hand these out? she says warmly.

HP: 28/54, AC: 25/T: 13/FF: 22, Perc +7, SM +2, Init +6, F: +7(+8vs poison/drugs)/ R: +5/ W: +3(+4 vs. fear/Mind), CMB: +8, CMD: 23, Speed: 20

There were so many enchantments and weapons said that Mirage have a hard time remembering what each of them are. He points at the longest sword at the table. "I would say that sword would be my kind of thing, but it is smaller than mine, and mine is a nice piece, really." He thinks for a bit, looking at the other stuff. "If I'll keep the rear it would be best for me to have the bow. That one seems way better than the old one I have."

Hp 35/40 AC 23 / 16 / 17 (+5 Perc; +6 Init; Fort +6, Ref +7, Will +5)

we will be fighting on open land not in closed quarters. So our tactical position will be all the melee people in front of vuvu, locke and sanford, as protecting them is also important if you want their support. Understood new guys?

Half-orc rogue (unchained, scout) 1 - HP: 10/10

Hagrin admires the gear placed in front of them, but makes no comment.

As the issue is pressed on about weaponry, he answers Arsil - "I prefer light weaponry, and even lighter armor, if given a choice" - he stands straight so that his scimitar is visible, as well as the fine woven mithral chain armour.

"As far as the weapons on the table, I am sure that one enchanted to be most effective against the creatures to be faced would be useful to any of us, but the scimitar is my weapon of choice, and I am most effective with it" - he adds - "I guess that means none of the weaponry would really add usefully to my combat capacity"

Unless GM Wolf rules that a shortsword can be used with Dervish Dance :D

"Now that potion of barkskin on the other hand..." - he smiles.

At the tactical reference regarding positioning, and protection of Vuvu, Locke and Sanford, he simply nods - "Understood"

Hp 35/40 AC 23 / 16 / 17 (+5 Perc; +6 Init; Fort +6, Ref +7, Will +5)

i'll go over the potions right after the weapons but i think all the melee people will get a potion of barkskin and a tanglefoot bag.

Half-orc rogue (unchained, scout) 1 - HP: 10/10

"Very well" - Hagrin agrees - "I apologize if this has already been addressed before, but since I have only joined the table, perhaps you could also tell us about your own skills, for the sake of coordination?" - he then inquires from Arsil.

My plan is in effect. And again you prove that you cannot control yourself. The plan calls for people to be controlled and quiet, which you cannot do. You stay in the back until the fighting starts. I won't have you shooting off at the mouth or warning your brethren that we are coming.

Vuvu picks up the staff of healing. Since no one else here can heal I guess I will snag this for now.

Vuvu speaks to Arsil. Glad you are taking tactical command, certainly better you than I. But that one, stays at the rear until the fighting has begun. He gestures t Mirage

What is an entangling Bo Staff?

Mirage opened his mouth to speak something, but then a thought crosses his mind and he closes his mouth for a few seconds. You're greedy, aren't you? Don't want anyone to steal your "top killer" title, hun? An evil grim takes hold of his face (although every smile a Hobgoblin gives seems to be evil) and he agrees with the man, even his raspy voice somehow darker than usual.
"Sure, why not?" But I'll still kill more than you do, fat man.

fat? Vuvu isn't fat. That is just mean lol.

Vuvu observes then grunts. Ah maybe you can learn. Good.

Vuvu then replies to the newcomer. i am a healer. Though anyone that can heal can kill. I have the ability to mix reagents to create explosive force. It is barbaric yet effective. The sooner we cleanse this taint on the land the sooner I can return to my research.

morgave, these are powerful items I shall endeavor to return them to you. What happens to those that use the staff?

vuvu it would be you or locke for the staff of healing. As to answer your question hagrin i am what is now called a a combat mage.

Vuvu nods as he hefts the staff. It should give me a little more versatile healing. While I am at it, here.

Vuvu hands a CMW infused extract to Arsil 2d8+4 and a CLW to Hagrin and David 1d8+4

San I suspect you will be staying out of the fray.

Vuvu then mixes up another CMW that he will hold.

Vuvu places a potion of Barkskin in the hands of Arsil, Hagrin and David (are there more than 3?) a potion of Bull's strength in Arsils hand.

i can't find potion of natures wrath of vicious leopard, what are those as well

Anyone else want to use these entangling bags?

"Combat mage?" - Hagrin asks Arsil - "I believe I have seen combination of magic and blade before" - he smiles - "The powers at your behest, do they allow you to take a frontline, as a fully armored warrior, but instead protected with magic?" - he lets his curiosity take the best of him.

With a slight look of surprise at Vuvu's offer, Hagrin takes the potions, and stores them carefully in his bag - "Thank you" - he offers with a nod - "I will put them to good use"

After storing the items, he again turns to Vuvu - "When is the departure planned to take place?"

Hp 35/40 AC 23 / 16 / 17 (+5 Perc; +6 Init; Fort +6, Ref +7, Will +5)

we leave in the early morning. And to answer your question Hagrin. It depends on the spell i memorize for the day. My mastery of the blade isn't as good as most of you of course, but i am decent, and there are many ways and different path that combine both magic and blades.

the goblin bane short sword will go to me, the goblin bane bastard sword will go to Mirage, the vicious composite longbow +2 str will go to david, the entangling bo staff will go to Locke and the MW Axe will go to David

the potion of bull str to Mirage , a potion of nature's wrath to David, an elixir of the vicious leopard to Hagrin. the Dagger will go to Sanford

Now that this is done i bid you a good night's rest she says getting up

As she passes next to lock she will whisper in his ear:

Locke:
In Elven I will be getting ready for tonight for what was offered.

Half-orc rogue (unchained, scout) 1 - HP: 10/10

Also curious on what the Elixir of the vicious leopard is :D

"Have a nice evening, and we shall meet then in the morning" - Hagrin bids Arsil farewell, but sticks around, pouring himself another drink, and offering to pour it also for the others - "Anyone cares for a second round?"
