To Corvus and Treygan, you feel as if your Diplomacy check made him talk to you as long as he did. Treygan, you don't sense anything hinky about him.
I would've posted that with my last post but forgot to and I'm OCD when it comes to making back-to-back posts unless absolutely required for specific reasons.

GM Beazy |

Okay! There was a big hiccup on my part.
The boards seem to have ate my post from yesterday. I'll repost the map and everything in the morning when I get off of work and before I head to bed. Thankfully, I have it saved on my iPad (posting from my phone now).
As for initiative, I don't know why it never occurred to me to roll for you lot as I've already been rolling other specifics for you. I've never rolled for my PBPers before, so I suppose it just didn't click that now would be a good time to start.
Again, terrible apologies. I have no idea what happened.

GM Beazy |

Problem solved and map updated. I'll be testing this format because I feel it's more personable. As soon as I overlay a grid map onto it, I think it'll be flawless.
From left to right:
Jean, Corvus, Toshiro, Treygan, Gyorgy, Mukluk (center)
I wanted to keep the minis as close to your characters as possible. Sorry, Mukluk, I have no clue where my dwarfs ran off to. I hope Lem will suffice. Had to pull a double when my relief didn't show up, so sorry for the late update.

GM Beazy |

Thanks. It's something I feel is cool. I can leave the map set up in my game room and adjust it accordingly each day. I don't always have the right things I need, but I do my best to make sure things're set up proper. I've used the VTR-esque metho of doing it with tokens, but I find it (as easy as it is) to be slightly over complicated and a bit less personable.
I don't know. That's just me.
At work now, so update (with Round 2) to come tomorrow when I've gotten off work and caught a few Zz's.

Toshiro Kato |

I already notified Beazy, but I just wanted to post here as well. But unfortunately, I have to withdraw from this campaign. My work duties have drastically increased over the last few weeks, which leaves me very little to check the boards anymore. I wish you all luck and hope you kill lots of goblins though! Take care.

GM Beazy |

I do apologize for my delay. A limited data plan sucks with no Wifi (despite the occassional Facebook postings which actually put me in overage charging - yay) and work's been tight as well. I'm back now so I'll do my best to help us all out.
Sorry to see you Toshiro and best of luck. That's my plan for Toshiro's exit is being taken ill and confined to bed rest. This adventuring stuff is for the younger crowd it seems. ^_^

Treygan Gorski |

When I first saw that probable crit, I won't lie I was feeling pretty good for a moment. But to be honest, that looks like it could've been a fun fight. I'm actually kind down now knowing it ended so quickly. Sorry guys :(

GM Beazy |

It wasn't an overly powerful creature but I saw your rolls and my jaw dropped and I started laughing a bit. It wouldn't have lasted long against you guys more than likely but now I feel like I hyped the movie too much and it didn't live up to expectation. Ha! The book said hype him and make him foreboding, so I did. Wasn't expecting a one-hit KO, that's for sure. No worries though. That's why I like GMing. I love when I get way thrown off sometimes by my players.

Beazy,

Mukluk Muletender |

I suspect we got a bunch of story xp for bypassing the goblin village without razing it to the ground.
Doesn't that just mean we can go back and raze it and double up on the XP?! Right? RIGHT?
/end munchkin angry dwarf

Mukluk Muletender |

+1 BAB (now can draw weapon as he moves...you better watch out!)

Thanks for the link. I'll actually disseminate this to my other GMs. As for me, I know what all corresponds to which knowledge check. I just keep forgetting to post it for you guys when combat starts or I mention a new beastie. Usually doesn't help I'm posting post-work/pre-sleep.

Corvus JR |

I'll shoot Treygan a message. Just waiting on his actions before moving to Round 2. Corvus, I'm sorry but are you doing anything on your round or are you standing by? That post confused me a bit.
It was just a bit of colour as I had a) missed out on the previous rounds of posts and b) I had a late initiative.

Treygan Gorski |

Ah the joys of playing to character. I kinda agonized over that last post. I kept drifting my thoughts to 'Ask Sir Gavin to bring Toshiro back to Sandpoint'. The whole metay-thing of not wanting to exclude a PC. I figure having Toshiro hide while we handle the dangers is good enough justification though.

Treygan Gorski |

Anyone have any preference on marching order?
Also I never did level to 2 so doing that now.

Treygan Gorski |

Hope you feel better soon! Illness is terrible.

GM Beazy |

Not a problem. New post up! Enjoy.
As always, the map doesn't exactly snap to the grid so let me know if you have any questions or concerns. Sir Gavin, you're the wonderful bugbear up-front. (I really hope there're more tokens inbound. Also, I wish I knew how to delete old maps/tokens from the it.)
I'll move you accordingly to your actions and post updates in the game thread as the scene continues.

GM Beazy |

Alright, I'll repost the token descriptions again for sake of ease.
Sir Gavin (Gnoll Token/Centaur token when mounted) Sorry, but they didn't have any other knights
Treygan - Armored Knight Token w/ axe next to Gavin
Jean - Red Hobgoblin Token w/ Sword and Board)
Corvus - Armored female elf token near back
Mukluk - Armored Dwarf next to Corvus
Gyorgy - Polearm wielding fighter just southeast of Jean
Virtual Tabletop doesn't have a large selection of tokens, so I apologize for that. Other than that, the program is top-notch. Jean, the skeletons moved before you in initiative, so you would not need to ready. You can, however, attack of you choose. I'll allow it.
As a note to everyone, if you choose to wait for me to post that's alright. If you post ahead of time, however, I do my best to put your actions into initiative order, so that's what my posts will generally reflect. If the field varies by the time your turn is up, I'll modify your actions favorably with as little change as possible to what you post. For example, if you post in advance that you attack someone who ends dying before your turn comes up, I'll say you attacked another character unless you dictate differently.
