Alcibades |

(Just to clarify Alcibiades heard that there was a women fortune teller however it is really a man ... correct?)
I have a few questions for him. I will put them in the order i would like to ask them. I of course will give him more money as he answers more questions.
If his answers are to s&&+ty i will stop asking...
What happened to the Alchemist (i will describe the one i am talking about)?
(this may lead to other questions...actually i will start with this and see where it takes me.)

so it would seem
Your question seems as if it would fall under the suit of Dexterity. The card you drew out is The Wanderer. This is the neutral good card of intelligence. It represents a centaur collector who appreciates things others discard as junk. This is your role in events. Now I will shuffle and we shall see if we can find the answers to your questions. Your search for the missing alchemist. He deal out 9 cards in a 3 by 3 grid. The first column represents the past. The courtesan... she typically represents political intrigue and false niceties. Its position however is Lawful and it is a chaotic card...this opposition indicates conflict from this source and may represent the root of the problem. The keep…. Resilience, quiet unshakable strength that endures…. its position is neutral though it is a good card. Your alchemist has endured many trials, but it may not have been for the better. The Tyrant It is strengthened by its position. This is the truest source of the problem. One who rules and harms those he rules….
The present
The desert. An environment to dangerous to survive in without help. You are in a dangerous situation, best to cling your allies if you wish to survive. In the center we find the Waxworks… you or your alchemist is in a place of torture and imprisonment, helpless. The peacock… your adversary wishes to make a mark that will last forever, like a man frozen by the cockatrices glare.
The future…The mountain man. If you continue your search, you will deal with physical powers beyond your control, leading to chaos and upheaval, but working out for the good. They may be the only way for you to endure the desert you find yourself in. The unicorn. Someone you will soon meet with offer you what you seek if you know to ask. The rabbit prince is the capriciousness of combat. You may find yourself in direct conflict. You will face a young upstart of a some noble lineage. Your future is enshrouded in chaos. Order and law brought forth this problem with the alchemist. It is in chaos you will find your this missing alchemist, but only by siding with staunch allies will you appreciate the fruits of your labors and live to free the missing alchemist.

Alcibades |

(well that was an awesome answer and fun to read. It makes me want to ask way more questions...but that seems like to much work for the dm.)
"I, Alcibades thank you my friend." (I will then wait to hear a name or ask his name if one isn't given..."and you are my friend?"
I add another silver to the bowl...I have to more requests...one I a reading the other a question about cards i found... I explain the layout and the cards i found in the alchemist house
"The Uprising; The fiend;The cyclone;The Rabbit Prince;The Crows;The Tangled Briar;The Waxworks;The Vision;The Snakebite;The Carnival;The courtesan;The Liar"
and ask if that has any added meaning that the reader can tell.
After that if the reader seems game i will say. I seek to prove my lineage. I am descended of a once great house in west crown that is fallen into ruin. I see to re-establish my family. I wish for a reading that can tell me where i can find proof of my families status.

"Hmm 12 cards is not typical for a harrowing spread. From what you say they do not sounds as if they were arrayed in any particular order, but it is a strange coincidence. Every suit is represented. There is a strong emphasis on chaotic cards. And none of the cards are good aligned. " He explains the general meaning of each of the 12 cards you found. http://pathfinder.wikia.com/wiki/List_of_harrow_cards
"As for your heritage that may put an interesting twist on the reading I performed. The rabbit prince represents young nobility. Perhaps your adversary is from a house the formerly rivaled yours and lead to its downfall. I shall perform another reading." He gathers up the cards.

He turns the cards..."In the future, where will your search take you? The Vision chaotic neutral card of intelligence. Your quest will bring you esoteric knowledge, perhaps arcane, or perhaps madness. The waxworks... you will endure torment, tortures, great pain, and trials. Against you... the Publican. Aya feels a connection with Fiosa. Maybe it's their minority status. Maybe it's the fact she's one of the only females she's really talked to outside of the temple. Or maybe it's just that Aya has never really had a non-temple friend.
"You know what, I was never a fighter either, but my training here has prepared me far more than I expected. I do far more healing that fighting, but sometimes I try and sometimes I have success. I never thought I could kill someone, but ever since I've been mixed up with everyone, the most unlikely things become true. I know this city used to be filled with beauty, and although we continue that tradition here at the temple, seeing what it is now - outside the walls - breeds an anger in me I never knew existed. What we do is certainly good work, Fiosa. Some of my party may be a little shady - I'm sure some would have rather kept the goods, but they will be a huge asset to the goals of you and your friends. I hope I can help you, Areal, and Janiven in any way possible."
Aya pauses, picks up her mandolin and strums a few chords.
"Would you like a tour of the temple? I would like to know more about you and your experiences with the resistance."

As they walk, Aya inquires to Fiosa's background and how she got involved with Areal & Janiven. RECAP
Some lady Arael introduced us to allegedly from the pathfinder society wants us to get into the local pathfinder hall. (It has been locked by the Chelix officials after that got in but had a mishap. It is thought this is linked to the shadow beast in west crown.)
Well anyway the pathfinder lady had a stupid scheme on how to get in. It goes like this:
1. join a play where many people die
2. don't die
3. get invited to a party in the mayor's mansion.
4. sneak / break into the vault (extra dimensional space whatever)
5. get the key that will get us past on the traps that have been set up around the pathfinders guild in west crown.
6. i assume get aid from the pathfinder association ... for the key and get very well payed
7. presumably this will lead to stopping the shadow beast.
AND as good adventures we accept!
We audition and are accepted for the play (even dakaar!)
We go through practice and dress rehearsal making friends with some of the cast members and such. we still have no idea what the trials we will have to survive are. they are concealed. Through some investigation we found the mayor is going to take care of that... It is now the evening after dress rehearsal and the night before the big show.

Alcibades |

Now on to Alcibiades actions.
After the dress rehearsal I ask the Mage (the stagehand/makeup man) if has found out anything about the trials or has and suggestions? I also make some small talk and ask him about his future plans and such. I try to make friends with him and ask him what his job will be during the performance and such. (If this yield any useful info let me know) If these actions earn a diplomacy role to befriend him.
Diplomacy: 3d6 + 12 ⇒ (4, 2, 5) + 12 = 23
I will also make on more try to make friends with the other female lead. I give her flowers after the dress rehearsal (I will also leave flowers for the other girl but not in front of anyone else and give flowers to Aya later). Compliment her on a beautiful job. I ask her if she has ever acted on the other stage before and if she thinks will be as well received there. I continue with some small talk and if i earn a diplomacy role.
Diplomacy: 3d6 + 12 ⇒ (3, 6, 6) + 12 = 27
I thank the director profusely for all his help and tell him that although we aren't the best bunch he certainly managed to whip us into shape.
I remind Arael to meet us in the morning so he can be behind stage to help us out and go over some details with him.
(I know Alcibades has more on his mind but John can't remember right now... Hopefully it comes back to him)

![]() |

Aya too would like to do something at the end of the dress rehearsal. When she sees that Nonon is finished with the others, she would like to take ask him to speak with her in private.
- Going to confess that I am definitely his daughter
- Going to say that I do not want anything material from him, that I am very happy in my life
- But I would like to get to know him better, or just learn some stuff about him.
I'm guessing at least one diplomacy roll is necessary for me to convince him I'm as genuine and sincere as I appear to me. But if he's doing the sense motive thing, I'm as pure hearted as one of those pure hearted things...

I tell Areal:

Resistance
