I think we should check out these weapon racks. Anything we find here could be useful going forward. Come on.
Brandon approaches the illusory platform and tries to determine it's purpose or origin.

Round 1
Suddenly horrific looking dolls appear over some of you, stabbing and attacking with terrible effect.
Two dolls jump on Killian, stabbing him with deep, bleeding wounds.
1d6 ⇒ 61d6 ⇒ 2
He takes 8 points of damage, and 6 points of bleed.
Two jump on Beppo. While one distracts him below, another jumps on at his face and rakes his eyes, causing him to yell and grab his face. Beppo seems blinded and takes 9 pts of damage.
1d6 ⇒ 61d6 ⇒ 3
Finally, a doll suddenly appears out of no where and stabs Kyle in the leg, causing him to buckle and fall to the ground. Kyle seems crippled, and can only move half speed and takes 1 point of damage.
1d6 ⇒ 1
The dolls are surrounding the party. Pic in drop box.

"Wait.. What!?"
Brandon stands dumb struck for a moment as the creepy dolls rush in. But he gathers his resolve and swings his Morningstar at the one that attacked Kyle.
"Get away you little bastards!"

Should I take the bleed damage at the start of my turn each round or does it trigger on the dolls' turn?
"The devil- augh!" Killian slashes at the dolls as they leap up and stab him brutally, but the sudden savageness of their attack surprises him and spoils his strike.

"Those were Soulbound dolls. Sentient constructs imbued with a fragment from a living, or recently living, creature's soul upon their creation. They posses none of the memories of the creature from which their soul fragment is drawn, but do retain and exhibit a limited measure of their personality. They are magically created and can have any number of abilities based on what magic is used to create them." Kyle explains.
Are any of the injuries treatable with a heal check?

"How very... nngh... interesting, Kyle. Can't say I'd like to bump into these little dolls again though, regardless of how they're made." Covering the freely bleeding wound with one hand, Killian draws forth a wand and uses it on himself.
Cure Light Wounds: 1d10 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
"Ah, that's a good deal better. So, do we press on and risk those nasty dolls again or shall we turn around?"

Beppo van Drotske |
Beppo frowns. Press on. If they come again, we will knock them away again. No sense in leaving this place partly unexplored, unless there is something we can't handle in here...which I seriously doubt. Now will someone help me not to bump into things?
Brandon Harcroft |
Brandon's ears prick up at Killian's comment.
They wha--?
He moves toward the big fighter.
Killian, keep an eye out for a second will you? Errr... if you'll pardon the expression, sorry Bep. Let's take a look here...
Heal: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (4) + 9 = 13
He places his hand on the side of Beppo's head and uses his Wayfinder to get a better look.
...hmmmm... well there's definitely some damage to the soft tissue... those little bastards raked you pretty well. The orbit itself looks intact. Kyle, your magic should heal this... shouldn't it?
I'm making a big assumption that Beppo isn't permanently blinded here.
Brandon Harcroft |
Here, Beppo try this.
Brandon uncorks a vial of blue green liquid and dowses a clean cloth with it. He uses the cloth to wipe away some of the blood in the warriors eyes and asks him to drink the rest of the bottle.

Beppo van Drotske |
Thank the gods!
Beppo looks around at the quiet courtyard. Perception: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (4) + 10 = 14
Unless he sees something unusual or suspicious, he shrugs. Well, let's press on. Barring any objection, I say let's move on through the courtyard. We can come back to do the downstairs later - eh?
Killian Shard |
"Good! Let's not be discouraged by the presence of these, what did you call them, Kyle? Soulbound dolls? A passing nuisance. Now that Beppo's eyesight is restored, let us press onward through the courtyard, as our strong friend suggests. Perhaps the dolls will not accost us further." Killian's enthusiasm nearly radiates from his broad smile as he claps Beppo encouragingly on the back.

I had this whole thing written up and the boards crashed when I tried to post. Le sigh. I don't have enough time in a day to do these kinds of posts twice! LOL
Damaia looks at the door. She pulls out a few tools and plays with it for a minute. A trick liked in wait for he who open this door. But, no longer.
She opens up the door. As you step inside, you see a huge room.
No doubt decisions of great import were once made inside this splendid council chamber. A gigantic nightscape mural blankets the domed ceiling. The mural’s bands of stars stretch to form an outline of the Pathfinders’ famed Glyph of the Open Road, superimposing its image over the night sky. Wooden stairs lead up to a balcony which circles the upper level of this great chamber. In the chamber’s center, ten highbacked chairs ring a stone table that rests flush with the floor. A large decorative lantern rests on the table’s center, its flame still impossibly aglow.
As Beppo takes another step in, a sudden burst of light shoots at him!
1d20 ⇒ 152d8 ⇒ (4, 4) = 8 Electricity courses through his body! For a moment, you saw a faintly glowing ball of light in the air, the nebulous image of what might be a skull visible somewhere in its depths.
