Brandon's attack swings wide and misses the small dolls. Aemon shoots two of them, knocking one off of Damaia. She instinctively lashes out against her attacker.

As Taryins face turns colors, he brings a hand away and creates a ball of golden fire, throwing it at the doll

Using Heavenly fire. It only harms evil creatures, which I'm assuming these are. If they're neutral it does nothing, if they're good it heals them.

Grand Lodge

Taryin creates a ball of fire on his hand, and in a move that almost lights his own hair up, he reaches behind and lights up the doll that grabbed him. It falls off, burning on the ground. Even as it burns, it tries, fruitlessly, to grab the sorcerer's leg in a last, desperate attempt to get to his neck. Soon, all that's left is ash.

At the same time, the other heroes wait for the ball of light to reappear. However, it never does.

Kyle heals Beppo.

Damaia gasps, as the nasty wound left by the doll continues to bleed profusely. Some help...please... I feel like I'm going to pass out.

You look around carefully (15 minutes for a place this large). Aside from the stairs going up to another level, you see little of interest. A lantern with a flame that still flickers looks rather nicely made, however.

I don't think I would have that long left on heroism so I'm going to drink alchemical allocation and then my own potion of heroism, gaining the effects and retaining the potion.

Brandon takes his mutagen in hand as they approach the staircase. His steps falter as he does so until eventually he sighs and turns to the newcomers.

Listen, there's something the other Shades of Grey don't know about me, Damaia this goes for you too. I am.... complicated. he says struggling for words. I used to think I had a uniquely violent and disturbing condition but I'm starting to see that Edmond is both my brother and part of me now. I know you don't understand what I'm talking about but look, if I drink this; he indicates the mutagen, ...and something weird happens. Don't panic.

He starts to lead the others up the stairs.
