Mordecai>
It looks like you changed your stats around and traces of of the original line up remained after you set your ability points. Namely I think you had a dex of 14 at some point and changed it to 10 but left the +2 mod here and there around the sheet. Also some parts look like they haven't been updated for level two. So...
Hit points: you have 15 listed. I think you have a max of 14.
5 / level = 10 + 1 Con mod / level = 12 + 1 / favored class level = 14.
Initiative: listed as +2 but I can't find anything that gives you a bonus. I think +0 is correct unless I overlooked something.
BAB: should be +1 at level 2. CMB should be -1, CMD 9
Skills: you should have 7 points per level minimum unless you traded in your human skill point per level for some other race trait. So I think you have two more ranks to spend.
Class Features: what is your second Revelation? At level 2 you get a second one, but I can only find one on your sheet.
What is Legalistic? You have it listed with channel as if it were a class feature, but I can't figure out what it is supposed to be.
Spells: your sheet seems to show your spells as if they are prepared in slots, but oracles are spontaneous casters. That may just be an issue of formatting on the sheet but I just wanted to be sure. Also with your CHA score you get an extra two 1st level spell slots per day. So you can cast 6 / day rather than 4.
You do have too many 0 level spells though. At second level you will know 5. You have 7 at the moment.
Equipment: your sheet doesn't show any of your equipment except armor, shield, and a wand. I would want to see a list of the equipment in any case, but here particularly because you have dumped your strength. Your armor and shield alone leave you one pound shy of heavy encumbrance. If you have a heavy load your movement will drop from 20 to 15, your ACP becomes -10 instead of -4, and your Run speed tops out at x3.
How much experience does this character have? The sheet says 0 but is for a level 2 character.
How much Fame and Prestige?

Hey-
The sheet was originally for a level 1 Synthesist but that recently got the banhammer so I rebuilt it as an Oracle.
Hit points- (8+1con)+(5+1con), with favored class bonus going towards 'spells known'. You are right, I was 1 off.
Initiative should be 0, apologies.
BAB and CMB and the like will be corrected.
Skills will be investigated- i'm used to playing a half-elf so i've probably got the extra skill point wrong, apologies.
Class features- I believe I get another revelation at level 3, not level 2.
'Legalistic' is my Oracle Curse, which is valid for Organized Play. Check d20pfsrd for Oracle Curses.
Spells- that is my list of 'spells known', with the top row of cells detailing how many spells per day I can cast.
0-level spells are accounted for by spending favoured class bonus on extra 0-th level spells.
I have no equipment apart from armor and such.
I'm afraid I have not yet gone through the process of adding up gold and XP and such from the character, will do imminently. Character has played 3 games.
Thanks very much for your comprehensive feedback.

Doh! I forgot max hps at 1st level. Okay that frees up the favored class bonus for the 0 level spells known. And that total /does/ give you 15 so you had it right originally.
I was confusing mystery for revelation when I looked at the chart so my mistake there.
You currently have Haunted listed as your oracle curse on page 2 so you'll want to switch that. I foresee waves of PFS oracles taking the legalistic curse as you can essentially circumvent the penalties indefinitely in a PFS game by never overtly giving your word or making promises. Easier to do in an episodic game like PFS than in an ongoing campaign. Not poking at you, more at the designers on that one :p
Your character has at least a set of clothing to be listed in equipment which will push him into heavy encumbrance. You can fix that once you have enough fame to access a set of mule back cords, but it might suck a little for now.
Understood on the spells per day. You'll want to change the x4 to x6.

Second page is just meant to be an information sheet, but yes when I was planning the character I previously had Haunted. I also chose Legalistic because it fits in quite well with my backstory. I would be very willing to work out some arrangement with you whereby I must give my word once per day, preferably to perform some party mission?
Also considering a Masterwork backpack.

I'm not planning on hassling you about the curse, but if you want to make use of it I would be happy to see it in play. That's up to you as the player though, I'm not looking to impose additional restrictions on you.
Marchello> you still have a 25 point buy. Need to knock that down to 20 before I can fully go over your sheet.

![]() |

Thanks - working on it this morning, will finalize today. I also will keep the PFS in the name as this is a PFS version of this character I want to run. I have another, that I have not played yet waiting for the right Carrion Crown Scenario.
As an FYI, I will be heading to Gen Con Thurs morning through Sunday so I will be a little MIA, less regular posting than normal.
EDIT - hes updated and ready for review.

Marchello>
Your CMB lists the correct modifiers, but the total adds up to +2. It says +0 now.
Traits:
Subject of Study is from the Carrion Crown Player's Guide. I'm not finding it on the Additional Resources page that would make it legal for PFS.
Holy water is 25 gp per flask. You bought three for a total of 3gp.

Jake:
Favored Class went to hps right?
Skills:
It looks like you have only spent skill points for level 1 though oddly you must have two ranks in one skill which would require being level 2. Anyway you are getting three ranks per level (2 for being a fighter and 1 for being human) so you have three more ranks to spend on skills. Also you have your modifier for Fly too low by one.
Acrobatics -1 (+2 dex, -3 ACP)
Escape Artist -1 (+2 dex, -3 ACP)
Fly -2 (+2 dex -3 ACP)
Intimidate +5 (2 ranks, +3 class, +0 cha)
Ride -1 (+2 dex, -3 ACP)
Stealth -1 (+2 dex, -3 ACP)
Survival +6 (1 rank, +3 class, +2 trait)
Swim +1 (+4 str, -3 ACP)

Half-Elves: all alternate racial traits except drow-blooded and drow magic are legal for play; all racial subtypes except drow-descended are legal for play;
Traits:
The Savant trait isn't legal for PFS (presumably) because it comes from being part of the Kitharodian Academy which is a different organization. If you look at the additional resources entry for that book they only allowed the faction traits that are tied to the Pathfinder Society. I bet there is an alternate trait to get Perform added to your class skills, but I'm too lazy to sort through them.Skills:
You note that you get 6 skill ranks, but only spent 5.
Favored Class:
You get either one more hp, one more skill rank, or you can add one quarter of a point to the trap sense bonuses that barbarians get. (They remain phantom points until you level enough to get a whole number)
Equipment:
Make sure to finish that out before we start. If you aren't sure about the odds and ends they introduced some equipment kits in the PFS Field Guide. Like this one: Pathfinder's Kit 12 gp and 22 pounds. And don't forget clothing.

You might find it useful to add this in the resistances section below your saving throws:
+2 trait bonus vs charm and compulsion effects
and +2 save vs enchantments
I've seen plenty of players forget their own circumstantial bonuses. Then again, maybe you don't need the reminder like I would :)
I don't know if you have Faith's of Purity but if you don't would you like me to cut and paste Iomedae's Code over here? I thought the paladin codes per god was one of the best features of that book.
Fame and Prestige? From the money spent it looks like Omrax has played at least one scenario.

I intended to start this game today, but with two people out of town for the weekend I think I'm going to postpone till Monday. Still I had asked for all characters to be in by today and haven't heard anything back from you as to class, race, level, nothing. If I haven't heard from you by this time tomorrow I'll move down the list and rotate in the first alternate.

Yes, and thanks. I had set sCoreForge to PFS mode, and thought that would filter for me. Savant I took as the first perform I found in the list, I'll keep looking. I'll address all the above and update by tonight, posting here to flag changes.
Thanks again.

Definitely good suggestion to add as I would probably forget them. I do not have the faiths book so I would be interested in the code.
Finally yes Omrax only has "master of the fallen fortress" and I do not see that he earned any fame for that mod.

• PERFORMANCE ARTIST (Faction: Taldor): As a youth, you studied in the avant garde theatre scene of Oppara. Your performance skills have been known to bring even the toughest crowd to their feet. You gain a +1 trait bonus on Perform (dance) skill checks. This bonus increases to +5 when using Perform (dance) to make money. (PFSc: GtPSOP 18)
• VARISIAN WANDERER (Regional: Varisa): You were raised among or have spent time with a group of Varisian nomads, whether travelers, Sczarni criminals, or entertainers, and have learned their ways. Choose one of the following skills: Perform (choose one type), Profession (fortuneteller), or Sleight of Hand. You gain a +1 trait bonus on this skill, and it is always a class skill for you. (PFCo: ISP 22)
Can you confirm either or both of those are legal?

Ahh yeah. Looks like that one is still 0 Prestige.
Iomedae's Code:
Iomedae The paladins of Iomedae are just and strong. Their
mission is to right wrongs and eliminate evil at its root.
They are crusaders and live for the joy of righteous battle.
They serve as examples to others, and their code demands
they protect the weak and innocent by eliminating sources
of oppression, rather than the symptoms. They may back
down or withdraw from a fight if they are overmatched,
but if their lives will buy time for others to escape, they
must give them. Their tenets include:
• I will learn the weight of my sword. Without my heart
to guide it, it is worthless—my strength is not in my
sword, but in my heart. If I lose my sword, I have lost a
tool. If I betray my heart, I have died.
• I will have faith in the Inheritor. I will channel her
strength through my body. I will shine in her legion,
and I will not tarnish her glory through base actions.
• I am the first into battle, and the last to leave it.
• I will not be taken prisoner by my free will. I will not
surrender those under my command.
• I will never abandon a companion, though I will honor
sacrifice freely given.
• I will guard the honor of my fellows, both in thought
and deed, and I will have faith in them.
• When in doubt, I may force my enemies to surrender,
but I am responsible for their lives.
• I will never refuse a challenge from an equal. I will give
honor to worthy enemies, and contempt to the rest.
• I will suffer death before dishonor.
• I will be temperate in my actions and moderate in my
behavior. I will strive to emulate Iomedae's perfection.

OK, I think I've dotted all the 'I's and crossed the 'T's. One question pending in the equipment list, but no matter if it goes unanswered, could roll the question into 'performer' garb.
Thanks for your patience.

I'm going to kick off this game today now that everyone is back home. You still have time to make little adjustments and if you got any GM credits or boon sheets and would like to use them here you have time to apply them. Just let me know.
spider21b hadn't realized this was a pbp so I invited our second alt to take the 6th slot. If we don't hear back I think you all are fine with 5 tough PCs. 6 players tends to make things a little easy in the earlier seasons anyway.

Noamuth> One piece of bad news and then some good to slightly offset it. Drow sign language isn't legal as a player choice. It isn't in the Core Rule Book or the Inner Sea Guide World Guide.
If you have a high Intelligence modifier, you may select
bonus languages from those listed in your race’s entry in
the Core Rulebook and the Modern Human Languages list
(The Inner Sea World Guide 251). Certain classes grant access to additional bonus languages (e.g., Draconic for wizards). Humans and half-elves with high Intelligence scores may
learn all the above languages as bonus languages as well
as any other language except Druidic and the languages
listed under Ancient Languages on page 251 of The
Inner Sea World Guide. All languages except Druidic
are available by putting a skill rank in Linguistics (see
below). Tian characters receive the languages Tien and
Common for free.
d20pfsrd also lists Drow sign language as a secret language like druidic. I'm not sure what their source is on that, but it sounds about right because drow are virtually unknown on Golarion. The entire point of one AP is finding out that drow exist and what they are.
That said- all Pathfinders are trained in basic hand signals. Not a full language but enough to silently communicate how you are about to head into a dangerous area for example. Here's a quote from someone elaborating on it in another thread:
Pathfinder Sign is similar to hand gestures you see in military movies. The type you see used by patrols for things like – stop, down, I see something ahead, you(the person I’m pointing at), move in that direction, boobytrap. The messages conveyed are very basic and are generally limited to a very small set of circumstances.
So you can choose a different language to fill that slot and still get the basic functionality I imagine you were looking for.

Nah, it just popped in my head when I wrote about going where the Ten send us, so I thought I would spice things up a bit with it. Kind of an off the cuff thing. I didn’t expect anyone to join in, so props to you and your character!
