The door opens into a long winding spiral staircase descend 120 feet into what appears to be the dungeon level. The floor is dusty and the air is stale but the whole area is well lit.

Opening the door you find that this sparsely decorated room contains a single, wooden desk and chair in the northeast corner. Two doors provide exits from the room.

Inside the desk you find a wand of wind wall with 32 charges and a small notebook that lists the animals that Furkas had conjures previously such as belkers and azer. The final page contains an anatomical drawing of a peculiar bloated black fly, along with the devastating effects of swarms of these things on living flesh.

The western hall of this vast chamber contains an immense magical circle etched into the stone floor, its curves and runes glowing softly with magical radiance. Inside the circle is a human-shaped beast with a horse’s skull for a head. It walks on cracked hooves and bears the rotting wings of a carrion bird.

Alldur and Zimdoz, you recognise the creature as a leukodaemon. They have damage reduction except against good and silver weapons. They are immune to acid, death effects, disease and poison. They are resistant to cold, fire and electricity, and they have spell resistance.
